Super great equipment and really great tenants.

The semi-detached house is super spacious, the garden beautifully landscaped and there is really a lot of equipment available. Enough glasses, cutlery and dishes (which is really very limited in holiday apartments). Games and stuffed animals for children, information material for the surroundings...
We are a household of 6 people (3 adults and 3 children between 3 and 9 years old) and everything worked out great.
Play and sports ground, as well as the lake, are super close and the small shop/bakery where you can get the essentials can be reached on foot in no time. For larger purchases you have to take the car, but we combined that with our outings.

We added a night very short-term and the Kunath family was super accommodating and rescheduled for us. Thank you very much for that!

We all felt very comfortable and highly recommend the Kunath family's holiday home with a very clear conscience!

Very nice holiday home for families

There is a lot of space in the house :) Well suited for families with children. The location at the lake is very good for swimming. The house is also ideally located to reach all the hiking trails in Saxon Switzerland and also Dresden. Very suitable for longer stays. The equipment is good, we didn't miss anything! We were completely satisfied ?

Beautiful holiday home

It is a very nice, large, clean holiday home and we enjoyed the time with our two children in it very much. The surroundings are also wonderful and the playground, as well as the bathing lake is also a few minutes walk away

Holiday apartment Birkwitz

We really liked the vacation apartment. Good transportation connections, very spacious. Everything you need is available. Small criticism, the mattresses in the balcony room were unfortunately way too soft for us. Otherwise, it was a successful week!

Schönes Haus

Very nice house, lots of space, quiet, very good equipment. Great conservatory, comfortable beds. A car is advantageous as the bus connection is not ideal.

Simply relaxing

We enjoyed the 7 days tremendously. The tranquility is simply amazing. The amenities of the house as well as the warm welcome contributed to our well-being.

Even though the weather often threw a wrench in our plans, we were able to bike along the Elbe River to Dresden and also to Königsstein. There were plenty of other options for rainy days.

We really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely recommended holiday home

We had a wonderful vacation in your holiday house. The location is great, there is a bathing lake only about 300 meters away. The house is super equipped and invites you to feel comfortable. A successful vacation!

Dear Kunath family, we would like to thank you once again for the wonderful holiday in your vacation home. We lacked nothing. Just a few minutes walk away in the village, there is a store for daily needs and fresh bread in the morning. The very clean gravel lake is also only a few minutes from the vacation house. Otherwise, for those familiar with Saxon Switzerland, it is known that most attractions can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. Maybe we'll come by again in the next few years. Toller Urlaub

The house is well furnished, everything is available. Good beds, large bathroom. The Elbe Cycle Path is very close by. Dresden or Saxon Switzerland are very nearby. The lake was great for cooling off. The landlords are very nice and helpful. Information material is available in the house.

Schönes Ferienhaus

We spent a few days as a family in Birkwitz. We were warmly welcomed and took possession of the house after a brief introduction. Everything you need is available. The house is located very quietly in the countryside. There is a swimming lake nearby. Most destinations in the Saxon Switzerland and Dresden area are within a radius of about 20 km. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend the house.

Holiday Home Review

Very quiet location.
We were able to relax very well.
We also really liked the interior of the house.
The square meters of the house were completely sufficient for 6 people.
Very good transport connection to Dresden (bus and tram).
Special note: We will definitely come back to Birkwitz and rent the house again.

Peace, relaxation, well-being

We stayed in Birkwitz for 12 days. The house is located in a quiet area, allowing us to relax optimally. It is nicely furnished and invites you to make yourself comfortable. Everything is taken care of. The kitchen is very well equipped, it is nice and warm, and hot water was always available. We had plenty of space and could set up our Christmas tree. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas by the landlord, and everything was very clean. So, an all-around feel-good package is a holiday in this house. Highly recommended.

Class holiday flat Pirna-Birkwitz

This holiday home is absolutely recommendable for a holiday with children!!!!
The flat is fully equipped, has two children's rooms and a great garden. The way to the bathing pond (gravel pond) is short (with snack bar and toilet) and provides sufficient pastime for the children in nice weather. The house is "tip-top-clean" - we all (two adults and two children) felt very comfortable - anytime again!!!!

Holiday home Birkwitz is worth a trip

The holiday home offers everything your heart desires, is very well equipped and clean. The one children's room is a little small for 6 adults, but 4 adults and 2 children can easily find room here. The welcome and farewell by the Kunath family is very warm and questions and special requests are answered immediately and taken into account if possible.
The location is good. You can get to Pirna and the surrounding towns very quickly. There is also a beautiful lake within walking distance. A small corner shop for the morning bread rolls is within easy reach and there is a supermarket for larger purchases.

In short, we can definitely recommend the accommodation.

We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the house, especially for families with children. The kitchen is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Our grandchildren discovered the conservatory for themselves, but we also made good use of the terrace due to the nice weather. The house is very quiet. We wish you many satisfied guests.

Schöne Zeit in Birkwitz

We were four in this house and had a very nice stay.
There is plenty of space and the facilities leave nothing to be desired.
We were warmly welcomed and received a detailed "introduction".
The two boys liked the proximity to the bathing lake the most (5 min on foot).
Pillnitz Castle is only 4 km away. Pirna and Dresden can be quickly reached by car.
The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are also not far away.
Highly recommended!

We can only recommend the house. Nothing is missing, everything is very tastefully decorated. The location is great. You can go on many excursions with little time and effort. We were there with our two 80-year-old mothers, and they were also very enthusiastic.

1 Woche Dresden

The house actually leaves nothing to be desired. We particularly liked the small garden with the terrace. As we had a very hot week, we often sat outside in the evenings and drank a glass of wine. The mattresses of the beds are excellent, we slept really well on them. It's also nice to have two toilets when living in the house with several people. In the kitchen, a few sharp knives, a proper frying pan, a corkscrew with a lever mechanism, and a few more teaspoons could be useful. But the dishwasher is a true blessing.

Worth a trip...

The holiday home Birkwitz is highly recommended. It is very well equipped and spatially well divided. We were warmly welcomed and found everything we needed in the household. The proximity to the lake and many excursion possibilities is also worth mentioning. The village of Birkwitz is manageable and quietly located, inviting to relax, which was just right for us. Shopping facilities are quickly reachable.
