Description
The house is located directly on the edge of the field with an unobstructed view of the dyke. The large garden with its sun terrace invites you to rest and relax. Garden furniture and a parasol are available. In the basement of the house you will find the well-equipped kitchen; oven microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker etc. A spacious combined living and dining room with nice furniture, a guest toilet and a storage room.
On the upper floor of the house there are 2 bedrooms with 2 and 3 beds as well as the bathroom, washing machine available. The parking space is directly on the property. W-LAN is of course available. Bed linen must be ordered explicitly at the time of booking, cost 8 € per bed. Attention: without order no bed linen is available.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is wonderfully centrally located, in just a few minutes you can walk to the sandy beach in Harlesiel. From here you have a fantastic view of the offshore islands of Spieckeroog and Wangerooge. The pier for the ferries and passenger ships is also in the neighbourhood, wonderful trips to the islands or the Wadden Sea National Park are possible. Harlesiel is connected to Carolinensiel via the river Harle, and a paddle steamer runs regular services here. But you can also walk along the Harle to Carolinensiel. After a short walk, the picture-book village of Carolinensiel awaits us with its historic harbour, numerous restaurants and shops. There is always something to keep you entertained. But Carolinensiel's neighbouring villages are also worth a visit, e.g. Neuharlingersiel with its famous cutter harbour. Neuharlingersiel is easy to reach by bike, starting directly from the holiday home. It should be mentioned that the network of cycle paths is excellent. Cycling in East Frisian means: drifting along dikes and lighthouses, cycling around large and small seas, cycling along dreamy fen canals and discovering untouched moorland. Cycling always close to the water!
Have you ever been boating?
If you're out and about by car at the weekend, you shouldn't be surprised to meet East Frisians in the middle of the road and in the flowing traffic, practising a sport together: Boßeln. Here, two opposing teams throw a wooden or rubber ball across the road with the aim of covering a certain distance with fewer throws than the opponent. This is not a leisure activity for fun and games, but a serious sport with various leagues and sometimes even international competitions.

The North Sea spa town of Carolinensiel was already the second largest trading port on the North Sea coast in the century and has therefore not only dedicated itself to the tourism industry alone. The advantage is that it is not only a pure tourist resort, but rather the town has grown naturally and has numerous shops for daily needs. This is probably the secret that - unlike in some other seaside resorts N- there is "life" there even outside the tourist season. What is special about Carolinensiel are the 3 harbours. Carolinensiel has a (car-free) popular promenade along the Harle, which begins in the town centre at the old Sieltor with the museum harbour and leads past the large marina to the outer lock. Behind the outer lock is the ferry port in Carolinensiel-Harlesiel. From here, the island of Wangerooge can be reached by ferry. Harlesiel Airport is located next to the ferry port. From here you can fly to the islands or book sightseeing flights.

Completely relaxed, clean, and reliable!
We visit Carolinensiel-Harlesiel every year and have met many holiday apartments and landlords. With the Kunz family, everything went very, very well from the booking, through the arrival, and throughout the entire stay. You can tell that the Kunz family uses the apartment themselves by the complete kitchen and the well-maintained furnishings. Absolutely great!

Satisfied!
We spent three wonderful weeks in Haus Deichgraf. The house is well equipped, well maintained and very clean! The location is perfect and communication with the owner was flawless.
We could not find any of the shortcomings listed in the other reviews. The TV programme ran perfectly and the Wi-Fi always provided around 7 to 9 Mbit.

We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the trash bins (black) are too small when a 4-person household cooks. Unfortunately, we also had very poor TV reception, or none at all, which is a shame in bad weather, no cable TV, even though it is listed. The Wi-Fi was very slow and crashed at times, making a TV stick only partially usable. Unfortunately, there were also very uncomfortable patio furniture, no loungers available.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Very nice holiday home in a central yet quiet location. The beach, restaurants, and the paddle steamer Concordia can be reached very quickly. Perfectly suitable for 4 people. As we visit Harlesiel frequently, this holiday home is now one of our favorites. Many thanks to the Kunz family and best regards.

Dear Kunz Family,
Unfortunately, the two weeks passed quickly.
Despite Corona, it was a pleasant stay in your house.
After now five times vacationing in Harlesiel, definitely the most beautiful house for us.
Great location, easy access to all necessary shops, and a stone's throw to the beach.
We would love to come back in 2021.
