Our holiday home " Het Huisje Emma"
Our tastefully furnished holiday home 't Huisje Emma has an exclusive peripheral location in the holiday park Ooghduyne with a magnificent view of the dunes, the tulip fields and the lighthouse of Julianadorp. The house offers plenty of space for a relaxing and restful holiday. On the ground floor there is a large, light-flooded living room, a dining area with dining table for 6 people and a well-equipped fitted kitchen open to the living room. The flat screen (Smart TV) in the living area has the usual German programmes. The WLAN connection provides free internet surfing. Furthermore, there is a bedroom with double bed and Smart TV, a bathroom (bathtub with whirlpool function) and a separate guest toilet on the ground floor.
From the cosy living room, you can reach the gallery on the upper floor via a staircase. Here you will find two more bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin, as well as an open play/rest area with a magnificent view of the dunes. The upper floor was renovated in March 2023.
All bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds.
From the living area on the ground floor, you can also access the south-west facing garden via a large sliding glass door. It is surrounded by shrubs, hedges and an opaque fence and offers both privacy and tranquillity. The large sunny terrace is equipped with a windbreak, electric awning and garden furniture. A charcoal grill is available for cosy evenings in summer.
In front of the house there is a parking space and a bicycle stand. Bicycles, golf clubs, prams and suitcases can be stored in the storage room.

Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne has a completely new centre building since summer 2017. Guests can now enjoy the indoor swimming pool (with a 63-metre illuminated slide, jet stream canal, whirlpool, children's paddling pool and swimmer's bar), the Brasserie Sandz with bar and terrace, the indoor playground (with an indoor playground) and the indoor swimming pool the indoor playground (with playhouse, digital games, TV corner, activity stage, obstacle course for older children) and the four new bowling alleys.
The new centre building also houses the reception/tourist information, bike rental and offices. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The attractive new building was built and furnished in a sustainable and energy-efficient way and is equipped with all comforts.

The holiday park "Landal Beach Resort Ooghdyne"
The house is located in Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne, directly behind the dunes. On a hiking and biking trail that leads through the flower fields, you reach quickly the beach (walk a good 10 minutes by bike 5 minutes). At the dunes, there is plenty of parking, so that even driving around the North Sea can be reached in a few minutes.
The park is spacious with lots of things to do. These include a tennis court, a mini golf course, a bowling center, a bicycle, Bollerwagen-, canoe and pedal boat rental, a swimming pool with slide, children's pool, a lazy river and a spa tub. In addition, there are playgrounds, boules courts, fishing and for the little ones an indoor playground and a bouncy cushion. The deals are partly charged.
Even golfers (from beginner to pro) found in the park a special offer. For example, there is a 9-hole A-status Golf Course (par 70) with a covered "Driving Range on Water" (length 200 m), can be practiced on with floating balls and a golf school. The place is accessible for players with Golf Handicap certificate or card. A unique feature is the 9-hole family golf course for beginners and children.
At the resort there is also a restaurant and snack bar, each with an outdoor terrace, and a bread delivery service.
Location and surroundings
Holiday park Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne is in Julianadorp, about 8 km south of Den Helder, in the very north of the Netherlands. The tip of North Holland is known for its natural about 30 km long sandy beach, which extends from mountains near Alkmaar to Den Helder.
Only about 500 meters from the holiday park, directly a stairway to the beach, which invites all year to stay. Besides swimming, building sandcastles, collecting shells, kite flying and walking, you can in any weather enjoy a coffee or a meal in one of the beach bars. The Café "Paal 6" is located right on the beach entrance of Julianadorp and offers both indoors and outdoors in all seasons casual seating. Here you can very well relax and let the sun set on you.
The colorful flower fields of North Holland are directly adjacent to the holiday park. Many cycling and hiking trails that lead through the wide dunes, are also in the immediate vicinity.
The park is about 1km from the center of Julianadorp. There are various shops, including "De Riepel" with bakers, Aldi, Lidl, butcher, cheese shop, florist, drugstore and supermarket who partially open on Sundays. In addition, there are restaurants, banks, doctors, a pharmacy and a tourist information office (VVV).

Recommended trips to Den Helder (rescue museum, naval museum, Fort Kijkduin with aquarium), Alkmaar (cheese market, canal tour), Schagen, Callantsoog, Texel (seal station) and Amsterdam (about 1 hour train ride from station Den Helder Zuid). Also worth a trip to the IJsselmeer with picturesque old towns like Hoorn or Meedemblik.

A great vacation
Everything went perfectly, and we had a very nice stay. The house is furnished with a lot of love, and the kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed our time in Holland. The surroundings and the beach are beautiful. 2 minutes by car to shopping... thank you very much. We will come back.

Beautiful holiday home with a great view of the dunes
We really liked it. The house is nicely furnished and decorated.
Everything is available.
It was also mostly clean. Only the floors need to be mopped and the spiders need to be removed.
We definitely recommend the vacation house and would love to come back again.

Absolutely recommendable!
We spent a few beautiful days in the very tastefully furnished holiday home. Nothing was missing and we all felt very comfortable. Special mention should be made of the great location and the proximity to the beach.
We were in het Huisje Emma with 4 adults and 2 children (10yo and 12yo) and all had our privacy.
Gladly again!

The holiday home is very well maintained and decorated with a lot of love. It leaves nothing to be desired. We spent a wonderful short break at "Het Huisje Emma". The house is absolutely recommendable. We will gladly come back.
