The detached house in maisonette style offers space for up to 6 people and has a living area of 85 sqm. On the ground floor there is a hallway, living room, kitchen with dining area, bathroom with tub and toilet, a separate guest toilet and two bedrooms with double beds
On the upper floor, which is laid out as a gallery, there are 2 single beds. This area is also ideal as a separate children's area, as there is also a table with 2 chairs. There are also 2 more mattresses, so the area can also be used as a romantic mattress camp with up to 4 children.
The kitchen offers a ceramic hob and dishwasher, as well as a range of kitchen utensils.
The house has its own garden which is fully fenced. There is a barbecue fireplace on the terrace for cosy and delicious summer evenings. Furthermore, garden furniture (sun lounger, parasol, 4 chairs & table) are part of the equipment.
A private parking space is also included in the price.
The Zeewind 2 holiday park includes tennis courts, a playground, a football pitch, a volleyball court and a heated swimming pool (use from 15 June to 15 September). These are free of charge for residents. There is also a restaurant directly in the holiday park.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in the village of Bredene, between Oostende and De Haan, both 6 km away. The beach is 800m away on foot. The fine sandy beach is guarded in the high season and free all year round. A kiosk is located on the beach and is open during the high season. The city of Bruges is only 20km away and is especially beautiful in winter.

to see you from the sea
We had chosen this cottage to enjoy a fireworks-free New Year's Eve with the dog. First of all, you must take into account that the house is electrically heated and that it is therefore stone-cold in winter (all electricity is turned off). It takes at least 2 days with the heating turned up full (more than 100 Kwh per day!) before it becomes somewhat comfortable (still below 20C). It is also far from the sea, so walking to the beach was not an option and we had to drive there. Note: in the summer months, dogs on a leash. But that is probably the case at all beaches in Europe. We also found the cottage not clean upon arrival: there were even windows that you couldn't see through because they were so dirty (doors to the garden). No soap for the dishwasher and also no spare toilet paper... The drainage of the shower was not in order, so after a few minutes of showering, you stood with your feet in a little pond that also overflowed to the rest of the bathroom. Every time, extensive mopping was necessary after showering. We left for home 2 days earlier due to the disappointing accommodation and the disappointing access to the beach. Fortunately, the owner did refund a (partial) amount of the deposit to somewhat ease the disappointment. In the summer, it will undoubtedly be a nice destination (bring bikes!) but for the winter period, it is certainly not recommended.

Nice cozy fisherman's house in a good location.
We as a family with 2 children felt very comfortable. A nice vacation home in a very clean complex with a heated pool and close to the North Sea. We can only recommend the Schneider family's fisherman's house.

Quiet holiday home in perfect location
The house is located in a very well-maintained complex. Since the owner is German, problems are resolved immediately. The amenities are very good and leave nothing to be desired. Finally, I have found a holiday home for myself and my dog. Perfectly fenced!
