Location and surroundings of object
More than 1,000 years Egmond aan Zee has emerged as a fishing village but since the beginning of the last century it has tourist trains. Both the history of the fishing and tourism are still clearly recognizable street image. All outstanding, the most beautiful spot - the Boulevard - is clearly seen in the village of beautiful lighthouse "Jan van Speyk".
The wide beach offers numerous opportunities for relaxation: beach chairs, beach chairs, wind screens and not to forget the cozy beach pavilions. Of course, the beach also offers hiking, -Schwimm, awnings, - and surfing. Furthermore, power kiting and surf canoeing is possible.
The village offers holiday guests a lot of entertainment: terraces, restaurants, sporting and musical events, and of course, a small but very nice shopping street with fashion and souvenir shops.

Erster Eindruck, ein gepflegtes Haus mit Platz für 4. Uns wurde soweit alles gezeigt und nach dem ersten Auspacken und " genauerem" hinschauen fällt einem doch auf, dass hier nicht alles Gold ist was glänzt. Das WLAN ist eine Katastrophe. Im Schlafzimmer hing die Gardinen Stange auf halb acht, auch wenn das gleich in Ordnung gebracht wurde, die Gardine mussten wir selbst aufhängen. Das Fernsehprogramm und der Fernseher eine Katastrophe sowie die Sitzgelegenheit für 4 Personen ungemütlich ist. Im Hof nur 2 statt der versprochenen 4 Stühle und ein Mini Tisch der auch schon mal bessere Zeiten gesehen hat (nicht zum gemütlichem Raussetzen gedacht. Wo war der Bollerwagen (stand im vertrag mit bei). Ansonsten eine zweckmäßige Ausstattung im Küchenbereich, (Suppenteller und kleine Salatschälchen wären Vorteilhaft) und ein Kühlschrank der vernünftig schließen würde. Für eine Familie mit Kindern ist zwar an eine Sperrtür im Obergeschoss gedacht, aber die Treppe ist eine Katastrophe(zu steil und zu schmale Stufen). Betten sind ok. Der Druck in der Dusche lässt zu wünschen übrig, Wasser im Waschbecken Bad lief sehr langsam ab. Die Größe der Nasszelle und Toilette könnten etwas größer sein. Das Laden eines Hybrid Fahrzeug wird untersagt, weil es ja teuer wäre. Und das obwohl ich diesen Strom ja mit bezahle. Somit hab ich dann auch noch eine unfreundliche Vermieterin.. Das einzig positive ist die Lage zur Stadt und zum Strand.

rather simple...
Combined living/dining room
with kitchenette. TV corner with ARD, ZDF, NDR, WDR, RTL and SAT as German programmes. Unfortunately the radio did not work. Kitchen equipment practical/simple, filter coffee machine and kettle, microwave, dishwasher, gas cooker. To the back there is a separate toilet and a shower (drain smells...) with washbasin and mirror. Sober courtyard, table with 4 chairs, rather nothing to stay.
At the front of the small entrance area a steep staircase leads upstairs, there are two rooms with 2 single beds each, which can be pushed together. I found the beds quite comfortable, I prefer softer beds.
All in all: OK for a few days, but not very homely.
