The modernized holiday apartment "Über dem Kattsund" is located on the quiet, quaint street "Kattsund" in the heart of the historic old town of Eckernförde, only 50m from the harbor. The shopping street, various restaurants/cafés, and also the Baltic Sea beach are within easy walking distance.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a historic office building from the year 1899. Rustic wooden ceiling beams create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, and with 135 m², the holiday apartment offers very modern amenities for couples and families of up to 4 people. Your four-legged friend is also a welcome holiday guest!
The spacious living room is beautifully bright and flooded with light thanks to many mullioned windows and the high ceilings, and offers a high-quality sofa set, perfectly color-coordinated with the room, as well as a flat-screen satellite TV incl. Entertainment program, BluRay/DVD player and music system. From the small balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Luzifer and the harbor. From the living room you enter the open lounge area. The modern, open kitchen offers extensive, high-quality equipment, many large work surfaces and is perfectly integrated into the spacious living area, which looks very elegant thanks to the real wood parquet flooring. At the adjoining dining table, you can enjoy your delicious, home-cooked meals in a family setting.
Two bedrooms are available, each equipped with a high-quality box spring double bed, so nothing stands in the way of a restful night’s sleep! The spacious bathroom is decorated in pleasant natural tones and offers a very wide shower with rain showerhead, hand shower, hairdryer, and towel warmer. The apartment includes its own parking space for a car in a video-monitored parking garage about 300 meters away.

Wonderful, central location in the historic old town of Eckernförde, only 50 metres from the harbour and 200 metres from the Baltic Sea beach. The shopping street runs parallel to the Kattsund, so you can reach various shops, cafés, restaurants and bistros within a very short time. Despite the central location, the flat is pleasantly quiet and has a wonderful view of the roofs of the town and the harbour
The town of Eckernförde is located on the Baltic Sea, has a beautiful Baltic Sea beach, a seawater wave pool, Baltic Sea information centre, a sweet shop and a beautiful harbour mile.
A wonderful place to really unwind and take trips to the nearest sights. Enjoy your time out from everyday life here!

One looks at the pictures and reads everything that is noted here about the apartment: everything is exactly as it is! Only one thing cannot be conveyed this way, namely how great it is to live in this holiday apartment when you are on vacation in Eckernförde. The apartment impresses with its size, amenities, and lovely details, as it follows the good principle of "less is more," and with the charm that is already given by the original beams and the wonderful floor. The 136 sqm can act by themselves and are not overloaded with decor, but are absolutely successfully staged with a few accents. Everything needed is present and much more, and most importantly: it is sparkling clean and hygienic, from the towels to the large bathroom mirror, from the toilet to the last little corner in the big bedroom closet. We are grateful that we could be guests here for two weeks!

We are grateful that we had the opportunity to stay here for two weeks!
