The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, CD radio, books and board games are available for your entertainment. Comfortable garden furniture and barbecue facilities are available in the communal garden during the garden season
The fitted kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, raclette and fondue machine).

Our holiday home "Zum alten Friesen" is located close to nature at the gates of Hooksiel on the North Sea coast. The popular seaside resort of Hooksiel is just under 2.0 km away, and the town centre is only 3.5 km away. The centre of Horumersiel is about 5.0 km away. In both villages you will find attractive retail shops, supermarkets and a wide variety of gastronomic offers.
Wangerland with its coastal bathing resorts offers countless restaurants, cafes as well as quaint pubs. In the numerous shops, young and old can find maritime gifts and souvenirs. The seawater indoor wave pool in Hooksiel and the Frieslandtherme with sauna and wellness area in Horumersiel invite you to relax.

| Due to occupancy, during the HIGH SEASON, ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE is only possible on SATURDAYS and the flat is therefore only available on a WEEKLY basis! The municipality of Wangerland charges a guest contribution for an attractive holiday. You benefit from offers and services that are designed to enrich your holiday: free or reduced admission, events, North Sea Service Card, ... GUEST CONTRIBUTION per day from 2021: Adults € 1.75, 13-17 year olds € 1.15, 4-12 year olds € 0.60, reduced guest fees apply during the secondary guest contribution period. |
Cancellation terms:
In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

On the Hooksmeer, a 60 ha inland lake near Hooksiel, water sports are possible regardless of the tide: surfing, sailing and water skiing.

Parterrewohnung für Singles
With my last-minute request, I got a real bargain. The apartment Bodo is absolutely sufficient for one person. But even as a single person, I would have appreciated a dishwasher. The surroundings are beautiful and worth further stays.

Vacation rental just for me
Sought and found: A holiday apartment tailored for singles and affordable. Everything is there, from the kettle, microwave to the raclette grill. Central location for walks and excursions to the surrounding marsh villages.

Spontaneous summer vacation
We spontaneously booked a summer vacation. The small apartment in Wangerland offers no luxury but is clean and functional. An ideal starting point for active holidays on the coast. Beautiful sluice towns in the immediate vicinity. A day trip to one of the islands is also possible. Only criticism: the kettle and coffee machine should be descaled shortly.

North Sea holiday near the beach possible even on a small budget. Ideal vacation apartment for two guests looking for a clean apartment with comfortable beds without any frills. We are mostly outdoors and spend little time in the apartment. Wangerland is always worth a visit.

Kleine Ferienwohnung
Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain during our vacation. Therefore, we spent a lot of time in the small apartment. If a bigger apartment had been available, we would have gladly rented it. But for a short vacation, it was okay here.
