Description

The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, CD radio, books and board games are available for your entertainment. Comfortable garden furniture and barbecue facilities are available in the communal garden during the garden season

The fitted kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, raclette and fondue machine)

If more than two guests wish to stay, a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) is available in the living room.

Our holiday home "Zum alten Friesen" is located close to nature at the gates of Hooksiel on the North Sea coast. The popular seaside resort of Hooksiel is just under 2.0 km away, and the town centre is only 3.5 km away. The centre of Horumersiel is about 5.0 km away. In both villages you will find attractive retail shops, supermarkets and a wide variety of gastronomic offers.
Wangerland with its coastal bathing resorts offers countless restaurants, cafes as well as quaint pubs. In the numerous shops, young and old can find maritime gifts and souvenirs. The seawater indoor wave pool in Hooksiel and the Frieslandtherme with sauna and wellness area in Horumersiel invite you to relax.

Due to occupancy, during the HIGH SEASON, ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE is only possible on SATURDAYS and the flat is therefore only available on a WEEKLY basis!

The municipality of Wangerland charges a guest contribution for an attractive holiday. You benefit from offers and services that are designed to enrich your holiday: free or reduced admission, events, North Sea Service Card, ...
GUEST CONTRIBUTION per day from 2021:
Adults € 1.75, 13-17 year olds € 1.15, 4-12 year olds € 0.60, reduced guest fees apply during the secondary guest contribution period.

Cancellation terms:

In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

Surprisingly good

We didn't know the holiday region of Wangerland before and have always been recommended by friends. When looking for a small flat for the two of us with our furry noses, we were lucky and found the beautiful flat Friso. We were positively surprised by the excursion possibilities as well as the cosy accommodation. This was certainly not our last holiday on the German coast.

Gerne noch einmal

Our short vacation was simply too short. Fortunately, we had nice weather to take long walks. We discovered the Wangermeer in Hohenkirchen as a true insider tip; a beautiful circular path around the inland lake. Next time, we will definitely stay longer.

Recommendation

We were in East Frisia for the first time. It was very relaxed and beautiful. The Friso apartment is well-maintained and practical. There is a large selection of books in the hallway, so we read a lot in the evenings. We enjoyed the regional cuisine with delicious fish dishes. We would recommend this region for families and older guests.

Top holiday apartment at the North Sea.

Very nice holiday apartment right by the North Sea. Everything is quickly accessible. The equipment was good, everything you need is there. Cleanliness in the apartment was very good. The refrigerator should be defrosted regularly.
A deficiency is the lack of garden care, the wooden furniture is completely run down. The location right on the main road is not so perfect. Unfortunately, almost no driver adheres to the speed limit of 80 km/h. Landlords should push for speed controls by local authorities here!
Nevertheless, the vacation rental is highly recommended.

Here the world is in order

Before the coronavirus crisis, I was still in East Frisia and could enjoy nature, the North Sea, and the relaxed people. The apartment is attractive and in good condition. Unfortunately, after my return and since Corona, the world is in a state of emergency, incredibly.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

We felt very comfortable in the vacation apartment, everything is really there and corresponds to the landlord's description.
We were looking for a place where it was a bit quieter with the New Year's Eve stress because of our dogs, and we found that with this vacation apartment.

Holiday apartment at the North Sea

I experienced the North Sea for the first time in late summer and found it very beautiful there. The apartment was fine and clean. However, the small kitchenette with little workspace was impractical. The bakery is a 2 km walk away, so I had already earned my breakfast. I would be happy to book again.

We'll be back!

This apartment was a real stroke of luck for us; we booked fairly last minute. The apartment is spacious and perfect for 2 adults. Everything you need is there, we didn't really miss having a dishwasher. We met nice holidaymakers in the opposite apartment and did a lot together. The Sielwärterhaus restaurant in Horumersiel was our favorite.

Great holiday, great vacation rental

We enjoyed it very much, just like last time. That's why we decided to come back.
In response to our suggestion to change the bedroom curtains, action was taken immediately. Unfortunately, the new bedroom curtains are now long enough but they are translucent, so that the garden lights (until 12:00 midnight) illuminate the bedroom.
