Description

The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, CD radio, books and board games are available for your entertainment. Comfortable garden furniture and barbecue facilities are available in the communal garden during the garden season

The fitted kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, raclette and fondue machine)

If more than 2 guests wish to stay, a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) is available in the living room.

Our holiday home "Zum alten Friesen" is located close to nature at the gates of Hooksiel on the North Sea coast. The popular seaside resort of Hooksiel is just under 2.0 km away, and the town centre is only 3.5 km away. The centre of Horumersiel is about 5.0 km away. In both villages you will find attractive retail shops, supermarkets and a wide variety of gastronomic offers.
Wangerland with its coastal bathing resorts offers countless restaurants, cafes as well as quaint pubs. In the numerous shops, young and old can find maritime gifts and souvenirs. The seawater indoor wave pool in Hooksiel and the Frieslandtherme with sauna and wellness area in Horumersiel invite you to relax.

The municipality of Wangerland charges a guest contribution for an attractive holiday. You benefit from offers and services that are designed to enrich your holiday: free or reduced admission, events, North Sea Service Card, ...
GUEST CONTRIBUTION per day from 2021:
Adults € 1.75, 13-17 year olds € 1.15, 4-12 year olds € 0.60, reduced guest fees apply during the secondary guest contribution period.

Cancellation terms:

In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

Holiday for Two

This year, for the first time, we spent vacation days without our children. The peace and relaxation were much needed. In the apartment, we had everything we needed (unfortunately, no dishwasher). Overall, everything was okay. Only the weather was not as requested.

We had only booked a few days, time passed much too quickly. Everything was fine in the apartment, only the weak internet took some getting used to.

Apartment large enough for 3 guests, kitchen a bit small. All trash cans were full. Friendly caretaker helped with setting up the Wi-Fi. The beach in Schillich is great.

Zufrieden

Quite okay, but still not at the finish line. A few weeks ago, I was in Marrakech, and as a part of the North African adventure, I explored the Sahara Desert. The Atlas Mountains served as a stunning backdrop to the endless sand dunes that stretched as far as the eye could see. The intricately designed carpets in the local markets captivated me. The call to prayer echoing through the narrow alleyways added to the mystique of the experience. The medina was a maze of colors, scents, and sounds that I could get lost in for hours. Next stop, the coastal town of Essaouira.

Preisgünstige Ferienwohnung

Just outside of Hooksiel on a country road, there is a holiday home with several apartments. The apartment is well-maintained and spacious enough for two guests. Unfortunately, the other guests with their dogs were not as considerate. Longer beach walks and trips to Jever, Wilhelmshaven, and Esens are worth it.

Short trip over the bank holidays.

For our first short break in Wangerland, we were very satisfied with the Enno apartment. A large shower room, dining area in the kitchen, and living space provide enough space for 3 guests. The sofa bed (where our son slept) is fine for a few nights. Those who enjoy fish are well advised in the restaurants and at the numerous snack bars. We will definitely book a holiday here again.

Completely satisfied

We had a nice holiday. The holiday apartment "Zum Friesen" is cozy. In Wangerland there are some affordable restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed the Frieslandtherme. Beautiful walks on the beach.

Great vacation with child & dog

We stayed at the holiday apartment "Enno" in the holiday house "Zum alten Friesen" over New Year's Eve.
The house is very modern and clean!
The location is a bit remote, but it's not a problem if you have a car.
The apartment was also very well-equipped and spacious! There are a few minor blemishes if you look closely. At first glance, the apartment impresses with its great, clean, and modern appearance with high-quality furnishings. However, upon closer inspection, one notices the numerous cracks in the walls, or the discolored grout in the shower, and small defects like the handles of the bedroom closet being screwed on with screws that are too long and protrude into the interior of the closet. Unfortunately, there was no oven or can opener. Additionally, the apartment is very, very noisy. Since we arrived with a baby, it was not uncommon for our baby to be awakened by the arrival and departure of other guests, or for us to feel like we were disturbing other vacationers with our baby's nightly cries.

All in all, we would definitely vacation there again and would also recommend the apartment to others!
