Location and surroundings of object
Only 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping facilities. The North Sea resort of Dangast (a World Heritage Site since 2009) is a place that offers all the prerequisites for a relaxing and - or active holiday on the Frisian coast.
Old fishermen's houses still stand here and sailing boats rock on the waves in the small harbour. The sandy beach offers plenty of space for all kinds of holiday pleasures. The lush meadows of the marsh and the Geest with its forests offer nature lovers plenty of variety when hiking or cycling along the Jade Bay.

Beautiful holiday home
Due to Corona, we had to postpone our stay for a year. It was worth it not to cancel. Since we were travelling by bike, we were thrilled with the garage. That was very practical. The house is very spacious and stylishly decorated with old and new furniture. Nothing is missing in the kitchen. The equipment is excellent. We did not use the first floor with two people. The bathroom on the ground floor is very large. I found the shower curtain unpleasant (glass door would be nicer), but you can't have everything. The garden is beautifully landscaped. Fertiliser, probably just spread, was not good for our dog. The lawn was also very long. I couldn't find a switch for the outdoor lighting. The. Landlord took care of it immediately, unfortunately the outside light was not ready yet. So there was no switch to be found
The location of the house is also very good. It is on the road to the sea. Through the windows, which are well sealed, you hardly heard any cars. We had a wonderful holiday with beautiful weather???

Sneaky packaging disguised as a premium house
A rip-off is being offered for a lot of money here. Disguised as a premium house that is aging and poorly maintained.
At the entrance, you can already see where they are cutting costs. The paint is peeling off, which continues on various objects in the garden. The garden is well-maintained all around, thumbs up to this team. In the house, on the ground floor, they are greeted by an aging bathroom, and we are greeted by a musty shower curtain with dirt in the corners and later a clogged sink drain that retained water. Mold on the wall in the grout, visible DNA traces from the previous occupant on the toilet brush, fingerprint marks on the doors in the time of Coronavirus. A worn-out hairdryer that lost its protective cover during initial use. The kitchen smells noticeably musty, the coffee from the previous guest still in the coffee maker. After one night's sleep, felt the slatted bed frame. Discovered stains on the mattress cover the next morning. Complaint to the rental service. Cleaner sent who informed us that he would never sleep in this house. The coffee situation was human error, his wife had forgotten. Behind the washing machine, the dirt is normal, because normally you don't look back there, he said. And the fingers on the doors, that's just how it is, he grabbed a dry cloth from the car and quickly wiped them off. Thankfully, mattresses were replaced with new ones the next day. The shower curtain too. In the living room, the blinds were broken, so they were always down and dark. Here, we were told that replacement parts are missing. The bathroom upstairs leaves something to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The corners in the shower are moldy.
In the garden there are cozy comfortable chairs, a big round table, two loungers with cushions, and a beach chair. As mentioned, a beautiful well-maintained garden. In the upper shelf, there's a hat from the previous occupant. Cleanliness? Badminton rackets to hit the shuttlecock through. Premium house? - Thumbs down!

Criticism Points
The pillows were covered in stains, as were the duvets and mattress protectors (replaced after a phone call). The mattresses were worn out, soft and with stains, hardly any support. Spiderwebs were visible in every corner. The available ones were all completely scratched; one even missing the handle. The trash cans were put out for emptying but not brought back in until departure.

Not recommended, cleanliness superficial, price-performance ratio unacceptable.
We did not feel comfortable in this house. Fly screens on the windows would have saved us some nerves from the mosquito and fly plague during our stay. The sauna in a small basement had no ventilation due to the totally dirty small basement window (pictures available). Superficial cleaning of the apartment. Power turned off on the terrace (no key for the lock). The property manager did not appear even once in three weeks. Even with regards to cleanliness in the house, we were reminded after our arrival (Saturday 3:00 pm) on Sunday morning. This reminder was dismissed with the reasoning that we should have reported it immediately upon our arrival, then they would have arranged for a further cleaning. I expect a clean holiday apartment upon my arrival. There were many other things that annoyed us to the limit. In conclusion, never rent this so-called "comfort holiday home" again!!!!! Maybe something will happen after my rating? ? ? ? ? ?
