Lancken-Granitz, a former small fishing village, in the past agricultural, situated between the Baltic Sea resorts of Binz in the north, Sellin Baabe and Göhren in the south, as well as the Bodden waters and the "Granitz" with the hunting lodge and the "Rasender Roland", is today with its 400 souls, 8 districts on 14 square kilometres of land, a quiet village on the "Biosphere Reserve Southeast Rügen" with tourist ambitions and is allowed to use the title "recognised resort".
Tourism is growing from year to year in our community, due to the location and the appealing accommodation.
Here you are "right in the middle", so to speak, with the largest Baltic Sea resorts on the island in the immediate vicinity.
You can reach them quickly via the
"Old Baths Road", also known as the "Avenue Road", to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund.

Lancken-Granitz, our "recognised resort" has around 400 inhabitants and consists of a total of
8 districts. Your holiday resort is close to the B 196 and the "Alte Bäderstraße", a first "must for gourmets".
Formerly a small fishing village and agricultural, tourism has gained a firm foothold.
Even today there are old thatched fishermen's houses, lovingly restored and renovated, or new buildings of this kind.
Your host community extends over about 14 square kilometres. Many fields and meadows with megalithic tombs, the forest area
"Granitz" forest area with the famous "Granitz Hunting Lodge" and the "Racing Roland", the Rügen Bodden with its natural beaches and picturesque bays, as well as the proximity to the fine sandy Baltic beaches of Sellin and the Mönchgut peninsula (approx. 15 km beach) characterise the image of your holiday resort.
You have everything within reach and can enjoy the peace and quiet at your accommodation.

The 10 are full
This is the 10th time we have been here and we are still thrilled, especially with the Hartwig family, their friendliness and the service they offer. Wishes are always gladly accepted and fulfilled. Once we ordered a birthday cake and the man of the house took care of the fulfilment, the bouquet of flowers sent in advance was already in the flat, just perfect. Wishes are fulfilled immediately, miracles "weather" take a little longer, but it's just a perfect holiday here.

This is the second year we have spent our summer holiday here
Mr Hartwig has a very pleasant and hospitable manner, which is rare these days. Nothing was missing and we will be happy to come back next year. I think that speaks for itself?

We spent a week in the holiday apartment of the Hartwig family. We and our Husky, who was naturally tolerated, liked everything very much. The apartment is very clean, Mr. Hartwig provides a great service and is very nice. Every morning we were provided with fresh bread rolls. In addition, there are many dog beaches that are easily accessible by car from the holiday apartment. We will definitely come back.

Eine sehr gute Ferienwohnung
We spent 1 week in the beautifully furnished holiday apartment. There was nothing missing, everything you need in a holiday apartment is available. There were drinks for welcome, a tip for a nice coffee in the village. The bread service was perfect. In the end, Mr. Hartwig gave us some smoked fish himself. Very tasty! The location is ideal for many excursions. It is very quiet, no car noise! We will definitely come back to this lovely holiday apartment.
