Newly restored 18th century former royal hunting residence with lakeside setting 25 acres of tranquil countryside bordered by regional forest within Contentin National Park market towns, beautiful beaches (opposite Channel Islands) on-site private fishing lake stocked with pike tench carp & roach (partially fenced) with use of free rowing boat and trout stream, outdoor heated swimming pool in safe courtyard.
Childrens play area and games room in converted wine cellar with table tennis, pool table and table football. Le Pont D'Albart is a quiet family complex and organic farm surrounded by 10 hectares of organic farmland and meadows in the Norman countryside. It is only 10 minutes from the market towns of Saint Sauvuer le Vicomte and Bricquebec and within 15 minutes o f the beautiful west coast Atlantic beaches on the Cotentin Peninsula.
The Channel islands are only a short boat trip away and many tourist attractions are within a hour drive ( D Day beaches, Chateaux , theme parks, Mont Saint Michel )

Pure relaxation in the heart of the Cotentin Peninsula
We felt very comfortable in the holiday house. The house is part of a former hunting residence and is located in a hilly landscape, absolutely quiet. The West Coast with its great lonely beaches is not far away and in the hinterland there are beautiful places and towns to discover. We liked the facilities of the property with pool, pond, football field as well as table tennis, billiards and table football room. Zeena and Sid are very likeable and helpful hosts. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Holiday in Normandy
We were here with our two kids (8+7 yrs) and had a great holiday.
We spent every day at beautiful different beaches, which can be reached by car in a few minutes. The property with the holiday homes is beautiful. With a lake where the kids rowed, a football field, a great heated pool and a table tennis table.
Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hosts speak German, English and French and are very nice
It is very quiet here and wonderful to relax. There are plenty of excursions for the kids. Absolutely recommendable. We will gladly come here again.

Dreamlike accommodation
We spent 2 weeks vacation in Le Pont d'Albart in July and were completely thrilled. Our vacation home - Les Faisans - was very spacious and tastefully furnished and equipped with a small garden. The house is part of a large estate with a lake, communal pool, and meadows. Everything is perfectly maintained. A canoe was available for us to use on the lake. We enjoyed the heated pool every day. A football field with goals was also available. The hosts Zeena and Sid are very warm and friendly and always approachable. Sid speaks perfect German, which was very helpful for us with our mediocre French knowledge. Le Pont d'Albart is very quiet, so you can relax wonderfully, but at the same time you can quickly reach beautiful beaches or places by car. So on the one hand, we saw a lot (Cherbourg, Coutances, Bricquebec, Carteret, Portbail, Grainville, Saint Sauveur, Valonges, among others) and on the other hand, we could relax perfectly on the beaches and in Le Pont d'Albart. Rarely have we enjoyed a vacation so much!

Holiday cottage Les Faisans
We stayed in the holiday home for a week. Our expectations were fully met and exceeded. The quiet location of the holiday home, the perfect equipment and actually first of all the nice, friendly and helpful hosts made our holiday an unforgettable experience. Since the hosts speak English, French and German, communication is no problem. We also got useful tips for worthwhile excursions.
When my car broke down, Sid helped me find a garage and even fetched the spare part from Cherbourg. Many thanks again for that.
We can only recommend this holiday home without reservation.

An unforgettable family holiday
This year we were again guests of Zeena, Sid and Luc for 2 weeks with our two children. Our friendly hosts again did everything they could to ensure that we had the best possible rest. There are no language barriers and Sid and Zeena always have worthwhile excursion tips for every taste, the heated pool is fantastic. The beaches of the Cotentin Peninsula are unbelievably beautiful, infinitely spacious and, compared to other holiday destinations, very sparsely visited. We also had only positive experiences with all the other locals. So if you want to get away from it all and unwind, we can only recommend a holiday here. We will certainly come back again sometime.

great accommodation
The holiday home is quietly situated in the valley, but you can go shopping in the next village in about 10 minutes. There are great leisure facilities on site (lake with island for rowing, pool, table tennis, billiards, trampoline and a small football pitch where many people meet in the evenings to play football). The super nice landlord on site gives many tips and is always there. The house is well equipped. All in all, ideal for families.

Top address to really relax - ideal for families
We spent almost 2 weeks there with our children (4 + 5 years). The location is beautiful, just right if you want to relax from the everyday noise, because there is practically no disturbing ambient noise. The holiday home itself has everything you need. There is a lovely heated pool for shared use on the property and also a recreation room. The small lake is great for rowing or canoeing
I would especially like to mention the landlord family Kosmala, Zeena, Sid and Luc. Not only are there no language problems at all, as they speak German, English and French fluently, but they are also super nice hosts. They also gave us some good tips for excursions, which were all very helpful. Some trusting animals round off the positive impression and are always an experience for children.
One has to bear in mind that you definitely need your own vehicle. The property is somewhat secluded in the forest and the area as a whole is very spacious. In terms of sightseeing on the Cotentin Peninsula, the location is very central, you can reach all destinations easily. Not far from there are wonderful beaches, which are hardly visited in relation to their size. These are very suitable for all kinds of activities in and around the water.
Overall, we can recommend this accommodation without reservation, especially for families it is an absolute tip! We would definitely stay there again.
