Description
Our holiday flat is located adjacent to the Berchtesgaden National Park directly at Hintersee. From the large terrace with lounge furniture you can enjoy magnificent views of the lake, the forests and the surrounding mountains. A variety of activities are offered here all year round and nature always shows a beautiful side in the change of the seasons. The flat offers space for a maximum of 5 people and has upscale and extensive furnishings
The house (Residenz am Hintersee, former hotel "Gamsbock" - built in 1930) was completely renovated and rebuilt in 2007. Today the residence consists of nine apartments
Our flat on the first floor has 3 rooms with a total of 100 m², a balcony facing east (12 m²) and a 50 m² sun terrace (east/south/west). The kitchen is open and connected to the dining area and the TV and sofa corner of the living room via a counter and a tiled stove. The open hallway with sofa bed also leads to two bedrooms, 2 shower bathrooms and a storage room with integrated wardrobe.
In the large bedroom, an infrared heat cabin is available especially for the colder seasons. In the basement, both the table football and a table tennis table can be used.

Location and surroundings of object
With the tranquil Hintersee, in Ramsau, you will find the ideal image of a romantic mountain lake. Hintersee is framed by steep peaks such as the Hochkalter with Blaueis glacier and the fabulous Zauberwald forest. Several good inns are in the immediate vicinity. The centre of Ramsau is about 5 kilometres away. Here you will find the shops for your daily needs, as well as doctors and a pharmacy. Berchtesgaden is a maximum of 15 minutes away by car, the Mozart city of Salzburg about 40 minutes. Hintersee is located at the entrance to the Berchtesgaden National Park (Klausbachtal). High mountains, deep valleys and crystal-clear mountain rivers characterise the strict protected area right on the border with Austria. Let nature be nature - that's the motto in Germany's only Alpine National Park. This can be experienced on 260 kilometres of hiking trails.

Superb place to stay
We were very impressed by the apartment, which is large and very well-equipped. The terrace with its comfortable furniture is perfect for relaxing in front of the spectacular view. The location is quiet and charming but well-placed for exploring the region. We found the apartment excellent value for money, were sad to leave and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Grandiose vacation at Hintersee
We had the opportunity to spend a wonderful week in the holiday apartment and were completely thrilled. Located very quietly at Hintersee, one enjoys a fantastic view from the apartment and the spacious balcony. One doesn't even know where to start; the apartment is very tastefully and homely furnished, and everything was in high-quality and very good condition. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything and more that you need, the coffee machine was an absolute highlight. Likewise, the small sauna in the bedroom, ideal after cold winter hikes. The bathroom is top-notch, and in the bedroom, there are even electrically adjustable beds. The apartment left nothing to be desired, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back. We would also like to thank Mr. Graeve for the nice contact, who was reachable at all times.

This holiday apartment is an oasis.
Once again, we were allowed to spend our annual vacation here, just like in previous years. Everything has been said by us as well as by the other vacationers. A dream comes true for us every year here. There are always very nice updates in the apartment. Defective appliances are promptly replaced (always of high quality). The view from the beautiful terrace is invaluable to us and is always an experience that we fondly remember for a long time. Thank you once again to the Graeve family, who always make our vacation as pleasant as possible. We are very happy to return to this dreamlike place time and again.

This holiday flat is hard to top
We were allowed to spend a week in this wonderful holiday flat. We have been spending our holidays in holiday homes or flats for more than 30 years. Together with a couple who are friends, we travel both at home and abroad. I am responsible for choosing the accommodation. After this holiday, we agree that it will be difficult to top this accommodation again the next time we look for it.
We had nothing to complain about. I have read the previous reviews carefully and cannot understand some of them. The fact that there is no double bed in one of the rooms could be seen in the exposé. We could sit on the chairs at the dining table and the terrace is the absolute highlight. The wooden floorboards were perfectly fine. The house has a high quality and extensive equipment. We did not miss anything. You can also cook an egg in the pot (there are plenty of them). It is not a problem if there is no egg boiler. We love the fact that not all the food from the previous guests is disposed of. When we arrived at the weekend, we were thrilled that salt, oil, etc. were available. You don't have to use them and if something is no longer usable, you can just throw it in the rubbish. If you want to find flaws, you will certainly find soft ones everywhere. Perfect is relative. We didn't find any flaws. Underground parking, lift, fantastic view of the lake and the surrounding area, quiet location and yet very close to the most beautiful excursion destinations such as Königsee or Obersalzberg. We are not typical hikers, but a walk around the lake or along the well-signposted circular and forest paths to the neighbouring villages was no problem for us. It was a wonderful time in this beautiful flat.

Dream holiday
