Spend an unforgettable holiday in the most beautiful region of Germany. Our inviting holiday flat is located directly at Hintersee. The flat with upscale ambience has a separate, exclusively equipped kitchen with dining area for 5 people. The living room is flooded with sunlight and has an adjoining south-facing 27 sqm sun terrace. From here you have a fantastic view of the lake with the third highest mountain in Germany behind it - the Hochkalter - with its blue ice glacier. To the side of the living room is the 6 sqm balcony where you can enjoy the sunset. The living rooms are equipped with high-quality parquet floors and furniture in Mediterranean country house style. You also have an underground parking space with storage room at your disposal. In addition, you can use the barrier-free glass lift on the ground floor, which will take you to the ground floor of the holiday flat.

Location and surroundings of object
Ramsau is an idyllic mountain village nestled in the picturesque landscape of the only German national park in the Alps. The famous parish church of St. Sebastian and the picturesque Hintersee (3km) provide peace and tranquillity. The region offers a wide variety of leisure activities for a beautiful and varied holiday. Hikes or via ferratas to the exciting Wimmbachklamm gorge, to the Blaueis glacier, to the Reiteralpe or to the dreamy Taubensee lake with its water lilies leave a lasting impression. Hintersee offers a ferry connection between the residence and the Zauberwald in summer. In addition to boat rentals and fishing opportunities, there are relays for painting around the lake. In winter, the mountain lake regularly freezes over and can be used for winter sports. The world-famous Königsee with the impressive Watzmann massif is only 10km away. Shopping facilities can be found in Ramau. For the culture lover, Salzburg offers its festival.

Golf: In Berchtesgaden is one of the highest 9-hole golf courses in Germany.
Ski: The Ramsau family ski area Hochschwarzeck is 5 minutes away by car. Other ski areas (Götschen, Roßfeld, Jenner) are within easy reach. Ski areas in nearby Austria (Loferalm, Steinplatte, Hochkönigswinterreich, Saalbach/Hinterglemm) are also between 25 - 60 km away. The first glacier ski area is the Kitzsteinhorn, about 65 km away. Cross-country skiers will find groomed trails in the Hochwarzeck skiing area and around the Taubensee lake.

| The tour price includes VAT (7%) and can be shown on request. The deposit is normally € 100 per week. The flat is suitable for 2 - 4 persons (possibly also 5). The basic price refers to 2-person occupancy. For each additional person up to 15 years the extra charge is 5,00 € per day and from 16 years 10,00 € per day. The price includes electricity, heating, water, bed linen and towel rental. The visitor's tax for adults / children from 6 - 16 years ( 2,60 € / 1,30 €) has to be paid additionally to the landlord before arrival. The costs for the final cleaning from 2022 60€ will be deposited in cash at departure. |
Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Gastronomy: Restaurants with beer gardens and children's playgrounds and cafes are located in the immediate vicinity along the Hintersee. Other gastronomic establishments are located in and around Ramsau. There are plenty of breweries in Berchtesgaden as well as in Salzburg Culture: The world-famous festival in Salzburg, which takes place several times a year, is a highlight for every culture lover.
Sightseeing: Visit the salt mines in Berchtesgaden, the Obersalzberg, the Königsee with St. Bartholomä, the majestic Watzmann, Lake Chiemsee or the spa town of Bad Reichenhall. The lakes in neighbouring Austria, such as Mondsee and Wolfgangsee, can also be reached by car within an hour.

Fantastic holiday in a great flat
We had a wonderful time at Hintersee. The weather was so nice that we could even enjoy our coffee on the large terrace in February. The location of the flat is wonderful, directly on the lake with a magical view of nature. Everything is available in the flat. There is really nothing that is not there. The fully automatic coffee machine is of course unbeatable. And if you have any questions, Mrs Wagner is happy to help.
The flat is very large, comfortable and well equipped. We had enough space with our two teenagers.
You can also start many hiking tours directly from the house or drive a few kilometres by car to the nearest ski area. We will definitely be back!

Eine wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung lädt ein zum Wiederkommen. Auch der Kontakt zur vor Ort sitzenden Dame bei der Schlüsselübergabe etc. war perfekt.

Dream holiday flat
We have been coming to this flat since 2008 and have also spent holidays in other Alpine regions in recent years, but nowhere have we found such a great flat and also nature as at Hintersee.
The flat is equipped to a high standard with everything you need. The underground garage is a nice extra. The beds are very comfortable in both bedrooms and two bathrooms are of course luxury. You can use the flat wonderfully with four people, even with five people there will be enough space for everyone. The wifi is stable and sufficient.
We like the spacious terrace with the wonderful view of Hintersee and Blaueishütte best. A morning or evening walk around the lake is an integral part of the holiday for us. Numerous hikes can be undertaken from the flat, so the car can quietly stay in the underground garage. We especially recommend a hike via the Bindalm to the Litzlalm, via the Schärtenalm to the Blaueis glacier and via the Mordaualm to the Moosenalm.
The small supermarket in Ramsau is very well equipped and you can easily do your shopping with a walk through the enchanted forest without a car. Numerous large supermarkets are of course also quickly accessible by car.
We can unreservedly recommend the flat, a relaxing holiday is guaranteed here. We also appreciate the friendly contact with the landlords.

Dream flat in dream location
We have been spending our holidays in Ramsau for many years. After several different flats in Ramsau, we moved to Hintersee a few years ago. Now we have found the perfect holiday flat. The flat Residenz am Hintersee is simply unbeatable for us!
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub), a great living-dining area and as a special highlight a fantastic terrace with a view of the Hintersee and the Hochkalter. This unique view is sensational and absolutely unbeatable
The landlady is constantly making improvements (most recently renewing the shower and new wardrobe furniture) which ensure that a high standard can be maintained. The contact is always friendly and reliable
An underground parking space belongs to the flat. The house has a lift so that luggage can be easily transported from the front door to the flat on arrival.
All in all, a perfect place to spend a hiking holiday in Germany's most beautiful landscape. There are some very good restaurants around Hintersee and in Ramsau. There is something for every taste. Because of the possibility to use the hiking bus and the beautiful paths directly at Hintersee, you can leave the car behind more often.
We are already looking forward to our next stay in the great flat Residenz am Hintersee.

Great holiday flat
We felt very comfortable in the holiday flat. Everything is there that is needed for a relaxing holiday. Without question, the great terrace with the magnificent view of the lake and the mountains should be highlighted. Simply fantastic. It was very hard for us to say goodbye.
