The dune villa Kussengevecht is located in the dunes of Kijkduin, with the beach and the sea within walking distance. The park has a swimming pool, shops, cafés, and restaurants. Public transport to the city center, the museums, and the beach is excellent. Even by bicycle, the beach or the city center are easily accessible. There are many possibilities for excursions and tours in The Hague and Scheveningen. A walk to the Binnenhof or a beautiful bike ride. For children, there is plenty to do in The Hague. Discover the technology used in Roman times at the Museon, or look at life under the waves at Sealife Centre Scheveningen. Visit Madurodam, Duinrell, and Drievliet, or simply build your own sandcastle on the beach.
The Hague has an ambitious program of museums and major exhibitions. The Mauritshuis has an extensive collection of great masters, including Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. The Gemeentemuseum has a permanent collection of many paintings by Piet Mondrian and the only 19th-century panorama painting in the Netherlands can be viewed at Panorama Mesdag.

The property is rented for the previously agreed period, with a minimum of 3 nights and a maximum of 21 days.
Our information on the website corresponds to reality. This information and all loose-leaf information about the holiday home, the layout, the furniture or the relevant facilities are provided in good faith. We reserve the right to make changes to this between the time of booking and the start of your rental period. All information regarding tourism and (sporting) activities is provided by third parties and falls outside our responsibility.
You will stay in our house with the number of people agreed upon in advance. The composition of the travel party will not be changed during the stay. It is not permitted to receive overnight guests or extra guests for parties/dinners. The person making the booking must check in personally and be present for the entire stay. Bookings for colleagues, sports clubs, etc. are only possible after prior consultation and for a group of up to 3 people. Reservations and bookings for/by groups or parties of persons under 22 years of age are not permitted. The supervisor must be at least 28 years old. Babies and children count as persons.
We do our best to have the holiday home completely ready for you. Nevertheless, we advise you to check the holiday home and the inventory upon arrival. If there is any damage or something missing, please report this to us on the same day. This way, we can prevent you from being held liable for it. If complaints, reports of damages, or missing items come in afterwards, we can no longer assess their validity and you may still be held liable.
It is possible that we will come by for maintenance or inspection. We will do this in consultation with you as much as possible.
At the end of the rental period, you must before 10. Check out by 10:30 and hand in the keys. We expect you to leave the house tidy and orderly. That means: dishes clean, dry, and neatly put away in the cupboard, the kitchen free of food remnants, the dishwasher empty and clean, the refrigerator empty and clean, waste disposed of in the municipal waste container, and the floors swept. The holiday home is required to be cleaned after the rental period. The costs for 2.5 hours of cleaning are included in the price; additional work will be charged. We assume that you will handle the rented property with care. Should there unexpectedly be any damages or missing items caused by you or your party, we ask that you report this, so that we can replace or repair the item and/or damage in a timely manner. Any costs incurred will be deducted from your deposit.
If you cause a disturbance, you will be addressed about it. You are required to follow the instructions of the manager. The manager of the holiday home may deny you further access to the house in case of persistent serious nuisance. If you are evicted from the house, there will never be a refund of the rent.
Barbecuing is allowed on the condition that the barbecue is at least 3 meters away from trees and the holiday accommodation. In addition, it is mandatory to have a bucket with 10 liters of water within reach. Only electricity, gas, charcoal, and briquettes may be used as fuel for the barbecue. The manager may, in special circumstances, prohibit the use of a barbecue. Dispose of disposable barbecues only when they are completely extinguished and cooled down. Electricity, gas and/or water installations brought by yourself must comply with legal requirements. Open fire is always prohibited. It is also forbidden to leave candles burning without anyone present, and to throw away cigarettes, cigars and matches. Flammable explosive substances are prohibited. We cannot be held responsible for any disruption, alteration, or hindrance of your stay if this is the result of unforeseen or insurmountable events or calamities. We also cannot be held responsible for inconveniences caused by (the work of) third parties, such as neighbors, municipality, province, or government.
