Description

It is located in one of the most beautiful northern areas of Maremma. The place is not far from Mount Amiata, only about 45 km from the sea and about 17 km from Montalcino. It is surrounded by 103 ha of land ( 3 of which with grapevines and 3 with olive trees) and it includes the owners’ house ( about 20 metres from the cottage to let ), the stables, the warehouses and a beautiful stone house of about 300 sq m.
A narrow unpaved road separates the cottage from the owners’ house. Traffic is very scarce along that road, anyway.
The garden, with trees and flowers, runs along three sides of the house. There is also an old stone shed, a few metres from the house, which has been refurbished and which is furnished with a table and chairs ( and a ping-pong table too).
Loriano and Daniela, the owners, have a room downstairs where guests can sample the extra virgin oil and the RDO Sangiovese and Riserva wine they produce.
The big cottage to let, is made up of two communicating flats, both on the first floor, which are reachable by two flights of stairs located at beginning and at the end of the cottage. There is a 40 sq m living room, with a fireplace and a dining table, which is large enough for 12-14 guests. There are also two kitchens, six double bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with a tub and one with a tub/shower. One of the double bedrooms is in the room which separates the two flats. Therefore, if you wanted to go from one flat to the other, you would have to use the staircase not to disturb the people who might be sleeping in this room.
The magnificent view on the Tuscan hills surrounding the place will make you feel relaxed and love this residence.
The two independent houses are let as one large home from June to middle September. In the other periods of the year, they can be rented separately.
