The flat is located in the village of Finsterau, which belongs to the district of Freyung-Grafenau.
Our immediate small towns are Freyung, Grafenau and Waldkirchen.
The nearest larger town is the beautiful three-river city of Passau, which is about 50km from us
but you can also visit Munich, Regensburg, Vienna and Prague in one day. Finsterau is a part of the municipality of Mauth, which has about 2500 inhabitants.
In Finsterau there is a beautiful open-air museum, where many events take place throughout the year
