Description
Typical log house with great atmosphere. In the house there are - all on one level:
- the living room with large open fireplace and flatscreen TV (German TV programmes)
- kitchen area integrated into the living area with fitted kitchen (electric cooker, coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven, fridge, ...) as well as dining area with corner bench/seat set
- shower and WC (German standard), washing machine
- a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe)
- the children's room (one bunk bed).
- another room with bunk bed, wardrobe and table group
- large covered terrace (approx. 30 m²) with seating area and great view of the area
All rooms can be heated electrically. The car can be parked directly in front of the house on the property. Garden furniture, barbecue, sunbathing lawn are available. A rowing boat is included in the price - if required, there is also a canoe at the house.

Situation at the south slope close small forest lake (100m). Fredros in the municipality Arvika in the Vaermland. Proximity to the Norwegian border, thus daily trips possible!

Cancellation terms:
You will receive a refund of half the booking amount minus the cancellation fee if you cancel the booking at least 40 days before the scheduled check-in by 12 noon CET (Central European Time). If you cancel between 40 and 14 days before the scheduled check-in, you will receive a 20% refund. If you cancel less than 14 days before check-in, you will not receive any refund.

Blockhouse in the mountains
We felt very comfortable. Those seeking peace will find it here. Only two cabins nearby protect one from absolute solitude. And even in the surrounding lakes, one swims alone. However, we had no luck fishing. Instead, every morning we picked a bowl of raspberries right next to the house. Waltraud introduced us to the conditions of the house. And we were welcomed very warmly.

Great stay in a beautiful house!
Beautiful holiday home, in a very nice location, equipped with everything you need. In addition to the well-equipped house (e.g. beautiful wardrobes, ...), the very friendly, helpful landlord, or rather the landlord's mother, who handed over the house to us and also helped us with other advice, deserves special mention.
in short: absolutely recommendable, happy to come back!

The holiday home "Fredros" offers everything you need for a holiday away from civilisation
If you want to escape the noise of the big city and just want to hear NOTHING, you are in good hands here. The house was super clean and designed with a lot of attention to detail. The feather beds were also great, so you can snuggle up in the evenings when it's a bit colder.
It would be nice if there were a gutter on the side with the long terrace. Since it was still dripping for a long time after the rain, we somehow had the feeling that it was raining all the time.
But that was only a small thing. We can recommend the house 100%.

oasis of tranquility
Two weeks of pure relaxation in this rustic log cabin. The facilities are very good and everything we needed was available. The landlords are super nice and you could contact them at any time with questions. The surroundings offer a lot of leisure activities. You can do a lot of hiking, swimming, paddling, and of course fishing. Next time, we will use e-bikes for cycling. We will gladly come back.
