A dream spot! A fine house for a family, friends, or for a family up to 8 - 10 people, right on a child-friendly and excellent swimming lake, with use of large Canadian 'Lindner' canoe that is also good for fishing. 'Sagen' dates from 1938 and is completely renovated in authentic Swedish style; it has a large Finnish family sauna, large living kitchen, a play/music room with piano, several fireplaces, two bathrooms and four bedrooms. In the large barn, table tennis is played and, of course, beautiful huts are built. A completely free space right on the lake, close to Sweden's southernmost serious skiing and cross-country skiing nature reserve: "Hövfjallet'.
This authentic Swedish villa with 4 hectares of private land surrounding it is located in the 'Throw of Värmland', a picturesque area between Sunne and Torsby, near Selma Lagerlöf's estate. It lies directly on the lake 'Stora Lisjön', with good swimming temperature and a slowly sloping shore (up to about 2 m deep). The Lindner canoe gives full freedom on the lake, so you also sail to the island to play or barbecue.
The house is fully equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, large garden with garden furniture and BBQ, a Harman Kardon player, an HD television with modern connections for laptops, DVD player with a collection of films on DVD, well-stocked bookshelves and games, and of course internet (using local data cards).
About half an hour's drive away is the fantastic skiing and cross-country skiing area Hövfjallet, where safe, exclusive and very affordable winter sports can be enjoyed in Sweden; it has 2 black runs and several red runs, so don't think it's nothing. For the real sporty skiers, these slopes offer a huge challenge, if one puts on the Telemark skis ! Cross-country skiing in Sweden is incomparably wonderful. This area is truly 'WinterWonderLand' in winter.

An open space paradise right by the lake where you can swim, canoe and fish freely in the large Linder canoe on your doorstep. Sweden's southernmost serious skiing and cross-country skiing nature reserve: "Hövfjallet" is nearby and Branäs ski resort, very popular with Swedish families, is an hour's drive away. In summer, the wild river Klarälven offers exciting canoe trips. Sågen is located in central Sweden, in an area with many picturesque villages and sights, such as the estate of the famous Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf.
