Description
The house with a living space of 60 m² has three rooms, two of them bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds. The sofa near the fireplace in the living room can be used as an extra place to sleep.
A fully equipped kitchen is integrated into the living room.
The open fire can be used in the transitional period.
On the terrace is a functioning, traditional stone oven.
The green overgrown roof of the house ensures a pleasant indoor temperature, so that no air conditioning is required! For a refreshing of course you can always use the pool below the terrace.
The sheltered and shaded rest area with sun loungers is located below the pool.
The very realistic looking miniature of a typical Cretan chapel is located within the plot in the upper entrance area - an attraction! The abundant use of natural stones, as well in the terraced outdoor area, the rustic stone oven on the upper terrace, the open stone fireplace in the living room and the handmade solid wood furniture give the house Marigos its typical Cretan charm. And of course the magnificent panoramic views, the sun and the interesting, blooming and fragnant vegetation will you never let forget, where you are: in the heart of Crete - and yet very close to the Beach of Triopetra.

Less than five kilometers above the beach of Triopetra, below the mighty massif Assiderotos in an overwhelming landscape, is this holiday dream!
From the house and its terraces you have a magnificent panoramic view to the Libyan Sea.
Triopetra is the name of a coastline and a small region above it which got its name from a distinctive Rock Trio upstreamed in the sea. The beautifull many kilometer long beaches and hidden coves bearing its name extending both eastern and western to this rock formation.
The region lives from many secluded, far scattered around holiday homes, some of which are situated even high up in the mountains along the meandering road towards Akoumia. So the home Marigos is. The rock you see at the last photo above marks the outgoing from the main road, leading about 300 meters aside to this truly secluded vacation home.
From the main road your car rolls - almost by itself - within a few minutes down to the western part of Triopetra Beach. Shortly before reaching it, you can however opt for the eastern part, simply by turning left. Here you will also find extensive beaches, secluded bays (partly nudist) and a number of traditional tavernas close above the beach.
The Akoumiani Galia and the beach of Triopetra offer many excursions for the holidaymaker. Moreover, one has the possibility to visit scenic highlights or eg secluded monasteries in the vicinity . This part of the Island - spoiled by Mother Nature - is one of the most beautiful areas on the "Pearl of the Mediterranean".
In the immediate vicinity of the cottage you will find the mythical hermitage of Agio Nouvri, the former monastery of Agia Anna, the source Vroule which year-round supplies the surrounding area with fresh mountain water and of course the many coves between the East Beach Trio Petras and the Middle Ligres. Worth a visit is also the small hidden monastery Agios Antonis.

Absolutely recommendable
The secluded stone house is a wonderful place if you are looking for peace and quiet, but still want to get to the sea and the wonderful beach quickly. We especially liked the outdoor shower and the magnificent panoramic sea view from the house (which is much more beautiful in real life than on the photos).
recommend for: holiday with children, beach holiday, romantic holiday
