Thank you for the wonderful time!

We were now guests for the second time in this wonderful vacation rental. The first time on Kielstraße and this time in Cavelhorster Gang. The apartments are top-notch. There is nothing missing, everything is super clean, really lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail, fresh bread hangs on the door early in the morning. What more could you want?

You arrive and feel at home. The garden is also perfect. Wieck and the whole Darss are a dream in winter. Absolute tranquility, wonderful air, and almost empty beaches. Vacation couldn't be nicer.
We will definitely come back.

A big compliment to the Schumann family. Super friendly, animal-friendly, always approachable, and an apartment where nothing is missing. I had taken sharp knives, salt, pepper, and some other things as a precaution because I knew from experience that certain items are often missing in many holiday apartments. But here, all taken for nothing, because everything is simply there. I have rarely found such a clean holiday apartment. Add to that the wonderful landscape and 13 days without a drop of rain. One thing is certain: I will come back!!!

Great family vacation

Beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday apartment where nothing is missing. Super clean. Nice landlords. Great garden with playground for children (swings, table tennis, treehouse, sandbox, huge fleet of vehicles (scooters, tractor,...). This will definitely not be our last vacation with the Schumann family. Best regards...

Vacation rental where nothing was lacking

The holiday apartment is located very quietly. It is cozy and very functionally equipped. Everything is available, even pepper and salt. The bread roll service with a good selection of tasty bread rolls is particularly noteworthy. Due to seating areas and the diverse possibilities to use the garden, you have sun at almost any time of the day (if it shines).

Apartment with a feel-good atmosphere

We once again felt very comfortable in the vacation rental. It is well thought out, practical, clean, cozy, and lovingly decorated. The Schumann family offers excellent service. As dog owners, we can highly recommend the apartment as well.

Vicinity of the holiday home: In der Nähe sind herrliche urwüchsige Landschaften/Wälder,auf der einen Seite der Bodden auf der anderen Seite die Ostsee. Die FEWO liegt sehr ruhig. Unterschiedliche Restaurants sind auch zu Fuß zu erreichen.

free time activities: Ideal zum Wandern, Rad fahren, Schwimmen, Segeln, Surfen

shopping facilities: Schade, dass das einzige Geschäft am Ort nur vormittags geöffnet hat. Man bekommt aber alles im Nachbarort, ist dann jedoch auf das Auto angewiesen.

We had a very relaxing holiday in a vacation apartment where we lacked nothing. The apartment was very clean and pleasantly furnished, designed for coziness and well-maintained. Here you can see in every detail that the Schumann family keeps an eye on their apartments and takes care of them themselves. For the Schumanns, renting out the apartments is a matter of the heart. Everything was well organized, from the welcome and introduction to the apartment, to the reliable bread service, and to addressing the questions and concerns of the guests. Holiday apartment with warmth and cleanliness

We spent a short late summer vacation with friends in Wieck. The small vacation rental was fully equipped, with a small kitchenette, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Everything was included. The outdoor area with its own sun terrace for each apartment left nothing to be desired (except the sun on some days). Children can also feel very comfortable here, they can romp in the sandbox and the large garden. We would like to highlight the cleanliness of the apartment and the friendliness of our landlords, who take care of all the needs of their tenants, including a morning bread delivery service to the door, rain or shine. We also had many things accessible on foot at the location: our landlords, the bakery (5 minutes walking), a fish store, "Die Arche" with small souvenirs, café, and postcards, a bi-weekly organic market with fresh fruits, vegetables, and other nice things; bike rentals are right around the corner, and of course many small restaurants, cafes, and eateries. The nearest larger shopping opportunity is about 3km away. We highly recommend the holiday apartment because it "lives" through the warmth of the landlords, the cleanliness, the location, and plenty of nature. Thank you to our landlords!

a cozy and comfortable stay in a well-maintained atmosphere

When you have to travel during school holidays, it's almost always bustling. On the Darss, it's no wonder that many visitors are on the move, with a wonderful landscape, dreamy beaches, a primeval forest to dream in, and in autumn, the evening concert of returning cranes and geese is a quite unique experience. After a eventful day, it's comforting to return to the accommodation in a slightly calmer environment. The house is perfectly suitable with its complete equipment to prepare one's own meals and to enjoy them in a lovingly furnished and homely environment. For those who prefer to eat out, there are several options within a few minutes' walk in the nearby area to enjoy not only very good and plentiful food, but also quite reasonably priced. All in all, a cozy and comfortable stay in a well-kept setting, with a soothing tranquility, yet right in the middle of a region where both young and old can be entertained and relax. Thank you, we felt (almost) at home.

Quiet location, very clean (compliments!), everything you need is there: no need to think about dish soap or toilet paper when packing/shopping. This is how you really enjoy your vacation!
The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The garden offers many additional possibilities for young and old: whether it's a grill or a beach chair (for a book and cup of coffee in peace!), table tennis, sandbox with lots of toys, soccer, and basketball - everything was gladly used. The place is cozy, not as crowded with tourists as on the coast, has nice dining options, bike rentals, and a small harbor (pedal boats, boat tours). A relaxing bike ride through beautiful landscapes - and you can choose to go to the west beach or east beach. We enjoyed the vacation!

We were very surprised by this cozy and above all clean holiday apartment.

We were very surprised by this cozy, very beautiful, and above all clean vacation apartment. The beautiful garden area, inviting for relaxation, with sunbeds and beach chairs. It was also nice to have the bread rolls hanging on the front door in the morning. From the small cozy village of Wieck, we could start many activities. We could choose a different route every day:
Either along the Bodden towards Born and further to Ahrenshoop
or
through the quaint Darsser Forest to the West Beach,
to the lighthouse by bike, train, or carriage,
over the meadows past Wiecker See and Liechensee, to Prerow and further on the Baltic Sea dike to Zingst,
or
with the steamer, bikes in tow, to Bodtstedt, Born, or Althagen (Ahrenshoop), and then by bike to Wustrow and back along the steep coast. We felt very comfortable. We will definitely recommend you.

The holiday was very nice, the vacation rental, almost half a house, was clean, equipped with everything, and simply perfect for a stress-free vacation. Perhaps a bigger TV just in case...
Otherwise, Wieck is nicely centrally located on the Darß and there are many activities to do, from hiking, biking, walking along the Bodden, or a 5-minute drive to the Baltic Sea. Many dining options available. The steep coast of Ahrenshoop is also nearby. Children are offered a lot of variety. Wieck is a quiet and relaxing place, the people are nice. The morning bread service is nice and you quickly get used to it. Overall, hardly anything to complain about, if the weather is still nice, as it was this year, then it is highly recommended. It is a bit expensive, but perhaps justified because everything is brand new and in top condition. Outside the season, it is more affordable. But I will come back and until then, all the best to everyone.

To feel completely comfortable...

We are now coming to "our" apartment for the sixth time and we always have the feeling of truly coming home. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the outdoor facilities are in good condition and well-secured, allowing our two children to play unsupervised for a short time. Even our youngest, who depends on a wheelchair, feels really comfortable here and enjoys this "protected freedom." The successful vacation is rounded off by the nice people here, especially the two landlords! You immediately notice that the satisfaction of their guests really matters to them. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the often praised bread delivery service, as my husband enjoys going out in the morning to get bread himself. Since we (still) do not have a dog ourselves, we were worried before our first visit that one might see or smell that dogs are also welcome in the apartments, but this turned out to be completely unnecessary. Carpets, sofas, beds, in fact, everything is really clean and in top condition! We will continue to come here gladly, of course also because of the central location on the Darss, from which you can reach all other places (Ahrenshoop, Born, Zingst, Prerow, etc.) easily. :-) ) can be easily reached by bike.
In bad weather, but of course also in bright sunshine, the larger cities are also easily accessible by car: Rostock, Stralsund, Wismar, Greifswald, and also the island of Rügen.

Overall, a place for a successful vacation in any weather (especially with children)!

Rental with heart

We were finally at Fam. Schumann on the Darss. It was a matter of the heart for us. We were all the more overwhelmed by the small but very fine area. It was just inviting when we drove through the garden gate. The friendly welcome and the small but fine apartment did the rest. We had already imagined it would be cozy. Everything was done with so much love and we did not miss anything, including bread roll service. So we were not at Schumann's for the last time, even though we have a journey of almost 1000 km.
