Location and surroundings of object
Only about 2 km from the park is the historic town of Medemblik. Not only famous for the modern sailing center, but also for the cozy old port and the completely restored castle Radboud. Even window shopping is worthwhile. Numerous restaurants and nightclubs complete the offer.
Medemblik is the home port for the steam locomotive, which oscillates between the picturesque towns Medemblik and Hoorn. After Enkhuizen brings a steamer, where you can visit the famous Zuiderzee open air museum and the interesting, historic Museum.
On foot you can reach the "Vooroever project". Sailing, swimming, surfing or lounging; on the banks of the IJsselmeer, anything is possible. In the midst of a magnificent setting. Tulip fields, windmills, farms, ditches, canals and vast pastures make up the beautiful landscape of West Friesland .. Our little holiday park Klein Giethoorn is located in rural Opperdoes. It is a park with a total of 30 bungalows, all of which are with the gardens at the rear of the water. Most bungalows therefore also have a walkway on water. Here you can create your own boat or sitting relaxed and fishing. It is a quiet park but near there is enough entertainment for young and old. There is something for everyone. You can at each bungalow 1 car on your own parking space. Come with several cars, then is enough to park at the beginning of the park space around the other cars and then walk to the bungalow. You get a ticket per apartment for the barrier that closes the park. Because of safety for all park users, the speed is in the park 5 km per hour.

Great holiday
We had a nice few days in Opperdoes and will gladly come back. The house was simply but comfortably furnished. The park is quiet but still central, shopping facilities, the Ijsselmeer etc. were not far away. It was also nice for us as dog owners, if you left the park over the bridge you could walk a lot. The Dutch are also very dog-friendly. We felt very comfortable and so did our dogs. When we left, there was no one at reception, but that was fine, that's what the return box is for

Eigentlich ein schönes Ferienhaus
Actually a nice holiday home, the location is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the property and the house were not as "nice" as in the pictures in the listing. A bit worn out and it was not cleaned upon arrival. The staff in the park were very unfriendly, entered the property without introducing themselves, and at departure, there was no one there to whom one could have personally said. The location was beautiful, it was also quiet, but the value for money did not fit the condition. We did not have any wheelchair user with us, but the small doors and corridors on the ground floor would not have been suitable for a wheelchair, there was also no accessibility at the door thresholds.

Es tut mir sehr leid, dass Ihr Aufenthalt nicht den Erwartungen entsprach. Ich werde den Reinigungsdienst für ihre Richtigkeit ansprechen. Für Rollstuhlanwendungen habe ich spezielle teure Ausrüstung, die ich nicht standardmäßig im Haus lasse, da einige dieser teuren Gegenstände bereits gestohlen wurden. Die Menschen mit Rollstühlen sind bisher sehr zufrieden. Im vergangenen Winter wurden Küche, WC, Bad und Außenterrassen komplett renoviert. Die Türen werden nächstes Jahr ausgetauscht und dann ist alles wieder neu.

Very clean accommodation in a stunning location
Very neat accommodation with 3 bedrooms, equipped with good beds. Kitchen well equipped. Located in one of the most beautiful spots (edge) of a small, quiet park. Unobstructed view with terrace facing south. So when the sun shines, all-day sun. Good/fast communication with the owner. Very flexible. We walked the long-distance walk the Great Frisian Path ourselves, which runs directly along the park. This accommodation is definitely recommended.

Relaxing holiday
The house is very nicely furnished. We were there for a week, it is quiet and clean.

House at the edge of the meadow
+: quietly situated spacious well insulated house on the edge of a settlement with a view of meadows, which is very relaxing; suitable for 6 persons including 2 toilets; friendly managers and landlords; 1.2 km to supermarket; by bike 2.5 km to centre of Medemblik, good W-LAN, Opperdoes has very nice houses and bridges
