Description

HOUSE Iris is located next to the nature area of Westerwolde Schütz, 35 km east of Assen. The warm indoor pool and Kamien with sitzgruppe give the living room a cozy atmosphere and offer a lot of fun. A very clean house, the wearing of shoes and smoke in the house are not allowed. There are plenty of luxury and house stands on a plot of 2500m2. Here bevinden several seats, a terrace on both sides of the house, garden chairs and a trampoline.
Also for weekends and midweek.

If you opt for the standard rent, rent is for a maximum of 10 people, with 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. (If desired 4 doubles and 2 singles).
Up to 17 people possible: 4 extra bedroom for rent with an extra bathroom. No charge for babies (max 2), if you take a private crib with.
Also for weekends and midweek.

The pool is cleaned with the latest technology. without chlorine. 6 x 4 meters, meters deep. The water is 26/27 degrees upon arrival, the water can be erhietzt up to 32 degrees on request kan. This is possible against extra price.

Haus Iris is for those who love nature, space and tranquility, with ancient villages, beautiful moors, woods and swamps around. It is next to a natuer reserve The estate offers luxury, plenty of space, pleasant rest and see beautiful nature ,. Due to its special location, noise in the area is far to hear. We ask the to Respectieren. The house is free around the house there are many terraces and seats.

Nearby are many hiking and cycling routes, many swimming possibilities, water skiing, horseback riding, cinemas.

Haus Iris is located next to a natuer reserve with woods, heaths and moors.
Nearby are many hiking and cycling routes, many swimming possibilities, blue lakes, water skiing, horseback riding, cinemas. Sellingen is a picturesque village with activities including trips witch. In summer there are in Sellingen and other villages many festivals and small markets.

Fortress Bourtange, back to the year 1642nd
You can visit Bourtange, a fortified town with traditional houses and museums In August you can visit the summer festival in Bourtange.

In town Stadskanaal (about 20km away) there Museumseisenbahn S · T · A · R The museum railway S · T · A · R drives since 1994 with a historic steam locomotive between Veendam and Musselkanaal. Town Veendam is located about 40km. Town Winschoten are in the north and is about 25km away.

Larger cities are in Groningen (city Groningenetwa 60km), Drenthe (Emmen town about 30km, Hoogeveen, about 65km and the city Assen, about 55km)

Cancellation up to 56 days before the arrival date costs 35% of the total amount. Up to 14 days before arrival, it is 80%, then 100% of the aforementioned rental amount, in which case you will get the deposit back. Beautiful country house in the middle of beautiful nature

A recommendation. We had a perfect weekend with the family and the house and the surroundings contributed greatly to that. The atmosphere in the house is very cozy. The children were in the pool all day and we could keep an eye on them through the windows, in the evening we went. The garden around the house and the surroundings with the woods and heathland are very pure. Inside the house, there was everything we needed. The extensive kitchen was also very welcome.

Wonderful!!

We stayed in the house for about 10 days at the end of July with a holiday group of people with disabilities. The house is nice and big and was more than big enough for us. The internal pool is of course a highlight and was well received by all.

Fantastisch

Fantastic villa where our entire family (17 people and a baby) fits, with each having their own room. Complete privacy with own pool and space in nature. Luxury.

HOUSE FOR FAMILY

The house was okay in terms of furnishings, the highlight was the pool. Unfortunately, there were many things in the house that were very dirty and moldy. For example, the showers, under the cabinets in the kitchen it was very dirty, and in all rooms there were broken curtains and dead animals on the walls. Of course, there were also nice aspects of the house like the peace and the atmosphere.

Haus Iris ist sauber, immer, sehr sauber. Darauf sind wir immer stolz. Dafür sind wir bekannt.
Diese Gruppe von junge Freunden hat viel Schaden angerichtet (Licht im Garten abgerissen, Matratze beschädigt, 3 mal neue Bettwäsche, Holz kaputt, Gartenmöbel kaputt). Wir haben alle Bilder davon. Plus 20 Stunden, um das Haus wieder sauber zu bekommen.
Der Schaden betrug € 685, - Euro mehr als die Kaution. Und das hat diese Mieter nicht bezahlt.

very beautiful big house

The house is perfect for large groups. We stayed there over Christmas with the whole family. The equipment in the house is good. Everything is available that makes the holiday enjoyable. The house is located right on the edge of a large nature reserve. It is very nice to go hiking here.

Very clean and comfortable house!

We stayed in house Iris this september with our family (12+ people). The central living room and kitchen are very comfortable and large. It is a great living space and it is directly adjacent to the indoor pool, great for the kids! And us as well. It is easy to oversee their playing in the pool through the glass wall.

There is also a small outdoor pool which is perfect for the little ones.

The bedrooms are many and the beds are very clean and they sleep well! I sometimes have back pains in bad beds, but these are almost therapeutic.

I can recommend this house to any family looking for a clean and big house in the Netherlands!

Great holiday home for groups of friends

We were there over the long Father's Day weekend with a group of 14 adults and 3 children. What we liked best was the pool in the house itself, which is also prepared for bad-weather days. If you plan to have a party weekend there, you are in the wrong place :), we had the music a bit louder and were very nicely advised by the landlady to keep it quieter, at room volume. After two attempts, this worked well :) and Mrs. Kappert was still very friendly. We also broke a toilet lid, no problem, it was deducted from the deposit and everything was fine :)

We can only recommend this house! Really great!

Very beautiful and cozy house!

From March 10th to 13th, we spent our vacation at Haus Iris in the Netherlands. What struck us immediately upon arrival was how clean the house is. Both the living room and the rooms were very clean. The beds are all very comfortable, and with a total of 5 bathrooms, no one had to wait for a shower in the morning.

And I have never seen a house with a heated pool that adjoins the living room! Simply fantastic! The kitchen was big enough for the three of us to cook at the same time.
Outside, there is a large trampoline and also a small outdoor pool, but it was not in operation (too cold). I think this is really cool for the kids in the summer!
In summary, a very clean and nice house ideal for groups of friends. I think it's a place to relax and not have loud parties. The night was unexpectedly quiet!
Definitely worth 5 stars!

A super weekend in a beautiful holiday home.

Our annual weekend with 15 friends in this beautiful house with the wonderfully warm swimming pool was a hit. There was also plenty to do in the immediate surroundings. Visiting the fortress of Bourtange, the monastery in Ter Apel, and taking a walk in the woods of Sellingen with the forest ranger. In the evenings, we cooked elaborately in the spacious kitchen and chatted by the fireplace. A lovely house with great bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Highly recommended for everyone.
