Our house is centrally located, sunny and quiet.
Situated in Hopferau, near Füssen, it is the ideal starting point for many activities throughout the year.
These include: cycling, mountainbike touring,
hiking, mountain tours, sightseeing (
Neuschwanstein Palace), cultural events,
swimming lakes with all water sports,
in winter all winter sports.
Hopferau is a little town near Füssen, with many
activities and cultural events, such as summer
festivals, folcloric evenings, theater presentations. The region includes Neuschwanstein castle, Frey-and Eisenberg castles,
Falkenstein castle, Wieskirche (famous church),
Hopferau castle. Neighbouring Austria (Tannheimer
Valley) is just 20 minutes away.
Winter sports are available in the resorts Pfronten, Tanheimer Valley, Jungholz, Hahnenkamm,
and much more. All belong to the Allgäu-Tirol
Ski Association. Most have artifical snow and are
located 15 to 25 km away. Additional easily reached resorts include: Zugspitze, Ehrwald, Berwang, Bichlbach etc. Cross-country trails
in Hopferau/Eisenberg, in the local communities,
or in Tannheimer valley. Ice skating and curling
are available on the local lakes or in the stadium
in Füssen. There are pool complexes in Nesselwang,
Pfronten or Schwangau.
You reside in a comfortable, spacious vacation
apartment with a separate, fitted kitchen (with
a dishwasher and more), a cosy living room,
2 or 3 bedrooms, bathroom with tub and shower, and a balcony with a splendid view to the alps.

Location and surroundings of object
Hopferau (population approx. 1100) is located near Füssen surrounded by a magnificent mountain panorama. The renovated castle is the centre of the village, and you can enjoy the culinary delights of the nice restaurants and cafes or the Käsealm. Cultural events such as summer festivals, folk evenings, theatre or castle concerts round off the programme. In the immediate vicinity are world-famous sights such as Neuschwanstein Castle (approx. 9km), the old town of Füssen, Frey and Eisenberg castles and Falkenstein or the Wieskirche church. Surrounded by many lakes (Forggensee, Hopfensee, etc.) and the Allgäu mountains, you have a rich choice of leisure activities. Neighbouring Austria (Tannheimer Tal, Tyrol, Lechtal, Ehrwald) is within easy reach, day trips to Garmisch (with Zugspitze), Oberammergau, Oberstdorf, Innsbruck or Munich or the Legoland or Skylinepark amusement parks are popular destinations. We also offer ski slopes, cross-country skiing, tobogganing etc. for winter holidays.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.
