Podere Riccardo
Located in the hinterland of the coast near Grosseto is the small hamlet of Madrechiesa.
The hamlet consists of several small individual farms, lined up along the road, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
Podere Riccardo - a former farmhouse - is one of five houses in one of these small farms and was converted into a very beautiful holiday home after years of renovation, completed in 2015. An electric gate provides access to the very beautiful, large, and completely fenced property.
The well-maintained garden extends behind the house and ends at a wonderful
panoramic spot with a new swimming pool, sun deck with loungers and umbrellas.
Both directly at the house is a covered seating area for outdoor meals, and
at the garden house - with a view of the pool - a cozy and shady spot has been set up for the guests
of the house. In the entire garden and pool area, a surrounding hedge protects against prying eyes.
The house, a beautiful and typical Tuscan natural stone building, is intended for a total of seven guests. On the ground floor, there is a large living-dining room with a kitchenette, a storage room with a washing machine and ironing board, and a shower with toilet.
A stone staircase leads upstairs to three double bedrooms, a bedroom with a single bed, and three bathrooms with showers. All windows have fly screens!
Podere Riccardo is an ideal vacation home for a large family or group wishing to spend their holiday near the sea, yet preferring a retreat for relaxation and unwinding after lively beach life or strenuous excursions into the fantastic surroundings.
The lovely owners live in the neighborhood. The house, the garden, and the pool are exclusively available to the guests. Only for pool maintenance and possibly necessary garden work will the staff be present occasionally, ensuring minimal disruption. the owner will be present for the garden maintenance.

Location and surroundings of object
Podere Riccardo is a detached and completely enclosed stone house on a small farm,
belonging to the hamlet of Chiesa Madre. Four other houses are in the neighborhood.
Access to the house erfolt on a paved road.
The location of the house allows a very fast connection to the beaches between Castiglione della Pescaia and the natural park Alberese and to many interesting destinations in the hinterland of the Maremma.
Scansano (Morellino wine) Saturnia (hot springs) Monte Amiata, Excavation places Etruscan settlements
and much more, offer a varied holiday program. Madre Chiesa is a small hamlet near Istia d'Ombrone and Arcille and is located on the road that leads to Scansano.
The hamlet consists of only five houses - one of which is Podere Riccardo.
Shopping for daily needs there are in Istia d'Ombrone, where there are also two Ristoranti, bar and pizzeria.
In Arcille - the next place in about 2 km distance there is a bakery and a pizzeria.

Great holiday in Tuscany!
Dear Schuler family, we are back from Tuscany and are very excited! It was a great holiday in beautiful Italy and at Podere Riccardo. Our landlord family was so lovely and attentive, we didn't want for anything! We can highly recommend the house. House Top - Description Flop
We stayed at Podere Riccardo in June 2018 with 5 people and a dog. A truly great, well-kept, and clean house and property. Very nice and courteous landlords who constantly spoiled us with wine and fruits. The other inhabited houses of Podere were not disturbing as they were located on the side of the house. However, those who believe in the ars holiday home description of a private and secluded pool area will - like us - be very disappointed. Right next to the pool, there is a multi-part two-story residential unit with a direct view of the pool and garden, thoroughly ruining the privacy promised by ars-Ferienhaus. Unfortunately, there is no privacy by the pool and garden, as one feels constantly observed all day long. It's a shame that there are still such deceptions in the house description.

es tut mir sehr leid, wenn während Ihres Aufenthaltes im Podere Riccardo Ihre Privat-Sphäre durch angebliche Blicke von Nachbarn gestört und beeinträchtigt wurde.
Ihr Kommentar und Ihre Bewertung dazu ist jedoch unfair, keine sachdienliche und hilfreiche Kritik und zudem eine bösartige Unterstellung!
Es gibt keinerlei Veranlassung, an der Beschreibung des Hauses etwas zu verändern
und es ist schon sehr dreist, von Mogeleien zu sprechen.
Wir vermieten das Haus seit 3 Jahren im Auftrag des Besitzers nahezu durchgehend von Mai bis Oktober
und Podere Riccardo ist zu einem unserer beliebtesten und am meisten nachgefragten Ferienhaus in der Maremma geworden.
Das liegt daran, dass das Haus, wie Sie selber beschreiben, sehr sauber und gepflegt ist und der Besitzer ein ungewöhnlich freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und großzügiger Gastgeber ist.
Besonders schätzen unsere Gäste den schönen, gepflegten und ringsum eingezäunten Gartenbereich mit Pool.
In drei Jahren hat sich noch kein einziger Gast über mögliche störende Blicke
von einem Nachbarhaus hinter der inzwischen ca 2 m hohen Hecke beschwert.
Zudem hat gerade dieses Haus ein unglaubliches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das seinesgleichen sucht!
Ihre Bewertung und (leider unlöschbare) unsachliche Kommentar dient weder dem Vermieter (den Sie ja sehr loben) noch weiteren interessierten Gästen, die ein typisches, preiswertes Toskana-Ferienhaus mit Pool und einem schönen, eingezäunten und von Hecken umgebenes Gartengrundstück suchen.
Ihre Ausführungen rücken lediglich unsere seriöse Arbeit als Vermittler und Vermieter der Ferienhäuser ungerechtfertigt in ein schlechtes Licht.
Insofern bedaure ich es sehr, dass wir Ihnen dieses Ferien-Domizil vermittelt haben.

Perfect holiday!
We are a family with two children and a small dog. We were looking for a holiday home where the dog could run around freely without constant observation, and we found it. The property is completely fenced in and even our Jack Russell couldn't escape anywhere. He used the two weeks intensively for his gecko hunting, but thank goodness he never caught one! The pool was the highlight for our children, it was cleaned every morning by the owner. The house itself is furnished with great attention to detail, and in the kitchen you will find almost everything your heart desires-the only thing we missed was a decent bread knife. The mixer for cake batter is also missing, but that didn't negatively affect our holiday. The rooms are very large and attractively furnished, in one room the mattress was a bit hard. The holiday home and the dining area furniture are designed for 8 people, (there are also 8 beds!) however, there is only a small two-seater sofa in the living room, but on holiday you want to be outside and in the pool as much as possible. The holiday home is situated between two residential buildings on a road with little traffic, but you have to be careful if you want to walk your dog because there is no footpath. So always walk carefully along the road! Every room in the holiday home is equipped with a mosquito screen. Perfect! We had a wonderful rest, everything was just as we had imagined. And thank goodness we didn't have to live with too many mosquitoes or wasp infestations, probably because we were there too early. But you can find enough insect repellent spray in the washroom.
We can unreservedly recommend the Podere Riccardo, and will gladly come again!
