Beautiful but with weaknesses
We were there for a week. The APARTMENT is good, but luxury is greatly exaggerated. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the good reviews are already 5 years old. It was not clean upon our arrival, for which the owner apologized. The coffee machine did not work but was replaced. Kitchen equipment is very basic with 2 burners, old pots, and kitchen tools that urgently need to be improved. The depicted bistro table outside is unusable, rusted, and the chairs are dirty with verdigris. No sunshade, no insect protection. Also, the indicated 65 square meters do not match; it was significantly smaller. Pointed out these issues to the owner but did not feel very interested; he lives far away from the property and probably thinks everything is fine as it is. For me, his description of a luxury apartment with a fully equipped kitchen is totally exaggerated and the value for money unfortunately does not match here. Otherwise, it is very nice and quiet, but the way there is unfortunately over sand and stairs, also no opportunity to store or park bikes.

Stylish studio for a relaxing vacation.
We found Egmonderduin to be an individual, comfortable, and high-quality equipped studio suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Individual access via a sandy path over a dune (hence the name of the studio). May be slightly problematic with a stroller or similar. Large, private terrace. Very quiet location (at least during our stay over New Year's). About a 10-minute walk to the center of Egmond and 15 minutes to the beautiful beach. Great area for cycling; beautiful bike paths through the North Holland Dune Reserve.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Great accommodation in a great location.
To get right to it: my wife and I were already at Studio Egmonderduin last year... and it probably won't be our last time ;-). Own parking directly at the entrance, very friendly reception, and an information folder with all the information one needs, were the start of a very relaxed holiday week. The apartment's furnishings are very stylish, high-quality, and complete. We especially like the peace and quiet that you can enjoy here, even though you are very centrally located. Both the city center, the beach, and the fascinating dunes landscape are easy to reach within a few minutes of walking (for example, we took a short walk to get bread rolls every morning). Even though the landlord doesn't live on site, he is easy to reach and helpful. As already described in a previous review, the studio is not highly recommended for visitors with limited mobility, since you have to walk a little through the dunes to reach the apartment (which is a real plus in terms of privacy!). It was once again a completely successful and relaxing holiday, and we will be happy to come back!

Super Wochenende
We rented and thoroughly enjoyed Studio Egmonderduin over the long Ascension Day weekend. Great weather, very well-equipped studio with a delightful sunny and private terrace, and a fantastic environment for hiking and cycling. (It's a pity that there was nowhere to store the bikes). We were thrilled and would love to come back... until next time!

Entspannter Urlaub
We had a really nice stay at Egmonderduin. The interior of the apartment is really beautiful and we felt very comfortable. The best part was the location in the dunes, which allows for absolute privacy. The beach and the center are within a 10-minute walk. Cities like Alkmaar and Haarlem can also be easily reached by car or bus. The contact with the landlord was always very friendly, accommodating, and smooth. We will definitely come back!
