Arrive and enjoy! The "sun coast" of Andalusia offers wide sandy beaches, stunning sunsets over the sea, idyllic white villages in the directly adjacent mountains and the pervasive influence of Andalusian and Moorish culture!
The Casa Hagen is the Urbanisación Marbesa, a true "pearl" of the Costa del Sol midway between Marbella and Fuengirola. The peaceful and friendly settlement of family houses and villas with flowering gardens (no skyscrapers or high rise hotels) is traversed by palm and pine-lined residential streets. It stretches in a hillside directly to the sea. The busy coastal road runs outside of the settlement in the interior, so there is no separation between settlement and beach. Marbesa is located in a prime location for versatile sporting activities, leisure attractions and destinations and provides with good visibility a fascinating view of Gibraltar and Africa.
The detached house with private garden and roof terrace is set back from the residential street in close proximity to the sea. The access to the beach marked an atmospheric Moorish watchtower. To the east is adjacent to one of the rare yet original dune landscapes with a wide sandy beach to the small port of Puerto Cabopino. To the west are consistently sandy beaches up to Marbella with many restaurants, beach bars and beach clubs with offer of beach chairs and umbrellas.
The bright and friendly house is fully equipped. All windows are fitted with blinds. The dining and living room expands during the warm months of the offshore covered terrace. The tree-lined garden offers several sitting, reclining and play facilities in sun and shade. In house literature is available to browse.
The house is by the enclosed garden and its proximity to the beach for families with young and older children. But wander joyful people are here - well cared for - especially in spring and autumn. In winter the house is happy for long term rentals available (reduced monthly rental price after personal consultation).

"Dream house found"
Our stay at Casa Hagen was unfortunately much too short, everything is top, everything is available, cosy and the hit is of course the garden maintained by gardener Adolpho, which was "entertained" by various groups of birds (collared parakeets, blackbirds, titmice), also 2 cats visited us daily as well as 2 small geckos, which slumbered from dark over the outdoor terrace table. An excursion to the dunes is highly recommended, as well as nice walks in the surroundings. We know a more distant area from previous holidays; with a rental car you can easily go shopping and to the cult market in Marbella, which takes place on Mondays, and, if you like, to the great shopping centre La Canada. Yes, I would like to come back to Casa Hagen, but then for longer. A couple living next door are spending the winter there until March........oh, how great..........until then......

Dreamlike tranquillity in a loving house
We had wonderful days at Casa Hagen. The house is lovingly furnished, it is very well maintained and lacks nothing. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here, both in your own garden and during a walk on the nearby beach. Casa Hagen is also ideally located for very varied excursions
The uncomplicated handling of the rental and the great reception with drinks and lots of information about the house and the beautiful surroundings deserve special mention
We are already looking forward to our next holiday at Casa Hagen.

Super Lage
The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. The garden is well-kept and clean. The furniture in the house is not only old but also very old-fashioned. It is much smaller than it appears in the photos. The living room is cluttered and the walls are overloaded with pictures, etc. We did not feel comfortable. The bathroom is completely old-fashioned and the tiles in the shower are chipped. This is not visible in the photos at all. We expected more for the price. We were thrilled with the location, but very disappointed with the house.

The best holiday home I know!
There is simply nothing to complain about. The holiday home offered us everything we expected. The location is unbeatable, as is the garden and the unbeatable beach with the highly recommended nature reserve.
In half an hour you are in the mountains and can go on great hikes.
Occasionally I read in the reviews that the neighbours like to party loud and long. We also had this situation where it was very noisy at night at times. So I went to the neighbours and asked them nicely to move the party indoors. The neighbours were extremely friendly and apologised several times. The music was turned off immediately. Incredibly nice Danes.
I would also like to compliment the Hagen family. I have never experienced such friendly landlords! We had the feeling of being on holiday with friends we have known for a long time. That made the holiday even more pleasant and relaxed.

Slip in and feel good :-)
... Arrival at night at a wonderful 16 °C. Already in the driveway we are surrounded by an intense exotic scent. The light is on in the house, a short tour, everything is there, everything is neat and clean, not too big, not too small. Wine on the table, water in the fridge... That is a successful welcome! We find everything else and make ourselves comfortable on the terrace at 1am. That's how a holiday goes
We love the wonderful library, the quiet garden with the magic tree, the direct location on the beach and the location, which is ideal for countless excursions and activities. Despite a few rainy days, the climate in Marbella and Andalusia is wonderful even in winter. And when it gets chilly in the evening, the best way to end an eventful day is with a book and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace
Of the many trips, we were particularly impressed by Mijas Pueblo, Sentenil d.l.B. and the wonderful walks along the beach ...
One drop of bitterness: at some point the most beautiful holiday is over.
PS: We also went swimming - in December and early January.
