Absolute recovery

The stay at Quinta dos Pavoes is thoroughly recommendable. The flat is spotlessly clean right down to the last corner. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired (we even liked the CD selection). Martina and Peter are very friendly and obliging hosts, the house and the wonderful garden are lovingly designed. We felt very comfortable all around and enjoyed our time incredibly. We will gladly come again.

Once again we were able to enjoy this beautiful place on holiday. The flat is furnished and equipped with much love in detail, you feel at home here. At the nearby lake you can relax, swim and enjoy the sunset with one or more glasses of wine. To explore the Algarve you need a car, then you have the possibility to visit the many different beaches or cities. Martina and Peter thank you for a wonderful time, we will be back.

Vacation for feeling good..!!!

The property is a dream. Idyllically located in the hinterland of Lagos with a lovingly designed garden, great playground, small sandy beach (with boat), and pool. Ideal for us as a young family with a 2-year-old son. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything your heart desires (even with hammock and barbecue) and everything is very well maintained. The landlords have a very big heart for their guests and are helpful wherever they can. One thing is for sure, we will come back to this little holiday paradise next year! ! !

"Lost in paradise"

We spent an indescribably beautiful holiday at Quinta dos Pavoes, where nothing was lacking. The location in the idyllic hinterland of the Algarve, far away from mass tourism, requires a rental car
a rental car. The photos cannot express what a wonderful oasis of peace awaited us there. We felt at home from the very first moment. Our flat was furnished with great attention to detail and fully equipped. A beautiful garden, the lake and super lovely and helpful landlords made these
Landlords made these 2 weeks an unforgettable stay. The location at the foot of the Monchique mountains could not be more quiet and yet you can quickly reach the N 125, on which you can reach Lagos, Portimao and Carvoeiro as well as all the beautiful beaches, such as Dona Ana, Alvor, Porto de Mos, Salema etc. in about 15 - 20 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to Oxiadere, where there is a small supermarket, bakery and butcher's shop. If you want an individual holiday, this is the place for you. A clear recommendation! Pure idyll

We travelled for 2 weeks in May. Therefore, we were able to enjoy the blossoms and the frog concerts at night with enthusiasm. The flat had everything you need. Even on the day of departure we discovered a suitcase scale to protect us from possible problems at the airport. In short: the flat and the entire property were perfect. We felt almost like in paradise and didn't want to leave. The landlords are friendly, helpful and uncomplicated; the dogs and cats come to visit and are happy to be fed. Since the flat is a bit in the hinterland, you need a more mobile vehicle. For shopping we drove 10-15 minutes to Lagos, to the beach in Lagos about the same time. The restaurant on the way to Arao is recommendable. The same road also leads further into the hinterland towards Monchique. It is also an ideal starting point for excursions. We would like to come back one day.

A place of relaxation and tranquility

Our small family (parents, 2 children, and 1 dog) found shelter with Peter and Martina at Quinta dos Pavoes. We enjoyed our time very much. A peaceful place that offers everything you need to spend beautiful and happy days. We could swim in the private pond, use the fully equipped kitchen in the studio, have our own terrace with a grill, etc. The surrounding villages can be reached by car in a few minutes, as well as the beaches. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation. We hope to come back again someday, and then we'll stay longer.

Wundervolles Retreat

The house is a dream. We don't just want to live there on vacation. Lovingly and stylishly designed and equipped with great comfort, the house is like everything here. The private lake, the plants, and the terraces around the house offer plenty of opportunities to relax. The house is located in a valley in the "hinterland" and offers a silence and tranquility that one can "hear" if able. Away from air and light pollution, you can even see the light trail at night, maybe with a glass of Porto by the lake or on the rooftop terrace. The nearest cities like Lagos and Portimão and dreamy beaches like our favorite beach at Praia dos Caneiros are just a 20-minute drive away. The landlords Martina and Peter are very lovely and helpful, and we regret that we did not have more time to talk about their extensive experiences and their life in Portugal. We hope it was not the last time we can be there. Thank you, Martina and Peter.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you. The apartment has everything you need, the landlords are very nice, and all destinations in the Algarve are easily accessible by car. Particularly beautiful is the small pond, which already has a good bathing temperature in May.

Wonderful - simply great

The apartment is located in the hinterland of the Algarve and is still easily accessible. By car, it takes about 1 hour from Faro Airport to get there. The nearest larger town with all shopping facilities is Lagos, so a car is recommended for shopping and beach days, but the distance is really manageable (max 20 minutes). We were there in May with a total of 3 people and had rented road bikes locally. We were so excited that this was definitely not the last time. The house even has a small lake with sun loungers and a lovingly designed bathing area. So, if you want to combine peace, nature, and individual holiday, Peter and Martina's place is just right. We are looking forward to the next nightly frog concerts on site!

Eine Oase

The "finca" is an oasis in the simple, sometimes somewhat desolate hinterland of the coast and is located in a small valley. That's why there is a swimming pond, but the view is limited. The apartments have large covered terraces, which is great in the heat of summer, but can darken the apartments behind them on cloudy days.
Equipment, service, etc. are all very good as already described and rated! The coast and small towns are easily accessible by car. Overall absolutely recommendable!

Wonderfully relaxed vacation

Review
We have now been to Peter and Martina's beautiful and relaxing holiday home for the third time. The apartment is equipped with love and all necessary items. You can cook here wonderfully and then eat comfortably on the terrace, in the green and blooming surroundings. The two dogs and cats then come to visit and enjoy the company. Even in less sunny weather, you can pass the time well. With a car, the nearest places can be quickly reached, and one can enjoy the diversity of the Algarve. The beautifully arranged lake with its own small beach is perfect for relaxing on sunny days. We will definitely come back, thank you Martina and Peter!

Quinta dos Pavoes = "Wellness Oasis"

Apartment 1
We stayed at the somewhat remote (note: private vehicle necessary) holiday apartment for those seeking tranquility at the end of September - beginning of October 2015 and felt very comfortable there. When you leave the access road branching off from the N125 after about 6 km, and have taken the path up to the Quinta, you feel like you have arrived in a true oasis.
The apartment itself is located, along with another holiday apartment, on the ground floor of the landlord's house. The "family" also includes two cats and two dogs.
The apartment and the entire complex are lovingly prepared and well maintained. The landlords are nice and helpful. Renting and handling were completely uncomplicated.
The holiday apartment is fully equipped for a vacation, and on the property, you will find everything you need to relax.
Lagos can be reached in about 10 minutes, Portimao in about 15 minutes. When it comes to beaches, you have a "free choice." Clear recommendation for those who are not particularly fond of "Ballermann tourism".

Just let go and take a deep breath.

Martina and Peter's holiday home offers the opportunity to spend a wonderfully relaxing time in the midst of a green oasis away from mass tourism. Since the apartment is located off the beaten path, a car is essential. However, the nearest beach and shopping facilities can be reached within a few minutes' drive. The lovingly landscaped and well-maintained grounds bring joy to the soul and invite you to linger on the spacious terrace or by the adjacent reservoir. The two animals living there are super cute and visit from time to time. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, and if something is missing, the hosts are very helpful and friendly. We can only recommend the holiday in this charming holiday home and look forward to seeing you again!

Haven of peace and relaxation - simply fantastic

If you want to have a really great holiday in a super beautiful environment with very, very nice and helpful landlords, this is the right place. In reality, everything looks even more beautiful than in the photos! The swimming pond is beautifully designed and you have the opportunity to spend the nice weather almost alone on the "beach". In the morning, the two dogs and cats come to greet you and keep you company during breakfast; in the evening, you can unwind and watch the chickens as they roam free. Simply wonderful and pure idyll. A dream holiday home has been created here with a lot of love in the midst of nature. Perfect for enjoying the peace, letting your soul wander, and just enjoying the vacation or life. Aside from that, the apartment, including the kitchen, is top equipped. You don't lack anything and can simply feel comfortable. It is advisable to rent a car since the holiday home is a bit secluded so that you can comfortably explore the beautiful spots in Portugal.

Perfekt

If you want to experience a vacation that you will remember for a long time, rent this holiday house. In an area with a lot of mass tourism, you can have peace, listen to the sounds of nature, or plunge into the hustle and bustle. Somewhat secluded, hidden in the hills of the Algarve, this little paradise is waiting. The house is perfectly laid out and furnished. There is a small beach in front of the reservoir right outside the door, a shady and a sunny terrace, very nice landlords with good tips for the next activity, and, and, and. . . . The great thing is, if you have a rental car, and you definitely need one, the beautiful places of this part of Portugal can be reached very quickly. The mountainous hinterland, the stormy west coast with high waves, and the tranquil beaches in the south are easily accessible. We also liked that two cute dogs and cats had won our hearts. Really beautiful!!!

Great vacation apartment in a tranquil location

This place is really great! The vacation rental is located a few kilometers away from the center, so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle during the day and then return to peace and quiet. A perfect place to relax and unwind from the stressful everyday life. We felt very comfortable here. The apartment is great. It has everything you need. Quinta-dos-Pavões

Very good value for money.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Quinta-dos-pavoes. The apartment is well equipped, and we found everything we needed. From here, we went on several excursions to the south and west coasts, but also enjoyed our evenings on the great terrace. The landlords are nice and always helpful. We will come back.

Wonderful-Restful-Warm and helpful landlords

We spent the last week of March in the wonderful vacation apartment of Martina and Peter. The rental and communication worked perfectly, and we were warmly welcomed and accommodated. We found the surroundings of the house so beautiful that we didn't feel the need to go on excursions in the first few days! The property is very spacious, with many opportunities for tranquility and relaxation. If you are looking for peace, greenery, and sun, this is the right place. With a rental car, you can reach the south and west coast of the Algarve or inland destinations in no time, and there is really a lot to see and do there. We found the beaches surprisingly clean and the water very clear. If it should rain, the apartment has a book corner and a television with numerous programs available. The kitchen was also very well-equipped, including an orange juicer. All in all, the time could not have been better. Thank you very much Martina and Peter!
