Description

Typical small Burgundy house in a unique location, with great views from large private garden.

The house is completely renovated in 2014, consisting of a bedroom (double bed), spacious bathroom (Carrara marble), oak floor, shower and bathtub. Separate toilet, including washing machine.
Living room with open kitchen (28qm²), there is also a sofa bed for a third Person (see photos).
The entire interior is created crafts (art), with oak and limestone floors, marble plates; the furniture in natural wood.

St. Just a settlement on a hill, with about 10 small farms and a charming chapel. From here you have a breathtaking view of over 30 km in the Burgundy countryside,
The baker comes every morning with fresh baguette, croissants ....

Beautiful, eventful, and very relaxing...

We felt very comfortable in the lovingly renovated holiday cottage, where nothing was missing. We especially enjoyed the daily cooling off in the pool and the relaxed hours in the beautiful little garden with the wonderful view. We would have loved to stay for a third week and would have tried out more hiking trails through the impressively beautiful cultural landscape, some of which pass directly by the house. It was a wonderful, eventful, and very relaxing time!

Everything found as expected.

We spent a week in the small but nice holiday home and are absolutely thrilled. We can only agree with the positive reviews. Nothing was missing and Mr. Räde was always available to help us. We would love to come back.

Simply perfect for a relaxed vacation!

The cottage is excellently equipped. Everything is available, from dishwasher tabs, spices, and kitchen roll to washing detergent for the washing machine. You can tell that the love for detail was put into furnishing the house. The house and garden are very well maintained and beautiful.

Mr. Räde is a fantastic host who immediately took care of all my questions and concerns. I enjoyed my time in St. Juste very much and can recommend the small cottage without reservation.

The baguette and croissant service still comes to the house, but as a personal tip for early risers, I would recommend every guest to drive to the neighboring village of Viserny and buy from the bakery there in the morning.

Fantastic place to relax

The bad first - we were only there for a week...but then there are only good things: the flat is enchanting and lovingly designed with many small details. It's best to plan a day to discover and enjoy all the little things in the flat and on the grounds! In addition to the loving design, the flat also offers all the comforts you would want for a relaxing stay in absolutely peaceful surroundings. The landlord is on site and is always happy to help if there are any questions and is invisible if you want your peace and quiet :) We spent wonderful relaxing holidays here, enjoyed the small and large works of art in the flat and on the grounds, used the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed exploring the closer and wider surroundings with dreamlike places. A holiday that could not have been more beautiful for us. Thanks to Ralf! We will be back..

Wonderful place for rest and relaxation

The house is really super, the size is ideal for 2 people and the equipment really didn't miss anything! We noticed very pleasantly that even at almost 40 degrees outside it was still pleasantly cool inside

The small terrace is right next to the house and offers a small shady spot. The actual garden is on the other side of the street, opposite the house, and offers a really nice view of the surroundings!
Our initial concern that one might feel observed in the garden due to the immediate proximity to the street was fortunately not confirmed. Due to the higher position compared to the road, it is not really visible and there is very little traffic on the road. We did not feel disturbed at all and used the seating and dining areas as well as the pool area extensively!

We really liked the small villages nearby, as well as the small town of Semur-en-Auxois with its medieval charm. Despite the remoteness, everything was easily and quickly accessible by car.

We really spent a very nice and above all wonderfully quiet week in the beautiful little house!

Picturesque house in idyllic location

The spacious natural stone house "Nid d' Amour" offers ample space for three people. The rooms are furnished with high quality and craftsmanship, always with an artistic detail. The kitchen contains good appliances and good crockery for every need from a teapot to three primo pans. The small terrace right by the house can be shaded well, making it ideal for warm days. On the other side of the quiet village street is the large garden with a wide view of the Burgundy hills and a private pool
Although the house is on the road, it is very quiet at night, we slept great. The host has good tips on exploring and day trips and is happy to chat. The village of St. Just is centrally located for destinations such as Abbaye de Fontenay, Alesia, Vezelay etc. For shopping, it is best to go to Semur-en-Auxois and combine shopping with a view of the impressive medieval town scenery
We would be happy to recommend the house and come back ourselves.

A place to relax and feel good!

At the end of September we spent a few days in this beautiful little holiday home in northern Burgundy. The cottage is comfortably furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail; there is really nothing missing here! And as the address "Rue belle vue 8" already says: The view from the cosy, private garden (including pool) is great!
Situated in an absolutely quiet rural hamlet, you are only a few minutes away by car from the towns, castles and monasteries that are worth seeing. If you like culture, you are in good hands here; but the area is also interesting for cyclists. Mr. Räde has many tips for excursions, swimming stops etc. in store and made our stay pleasant in every respect. Not to forget: The baker stops right in front of the house every morning and in Sémur-en-Auxois you can do your own grocery shopping in the best way (Intermarché, Autan). This is a place to feel good - even on cool evenings when the cosy fireplace is crackling. We will be happy to come back!

The name of the house says it all! It is a super cosy little house, for two people but also generous in space and furnishings. We can only agree with the comments of the other guests. The furnishings have combined old substance with new in the best possible way, preserving the charm of an old house. It was also the details that delighted us. For example the floor, wood and stone in combination or the tasteful curtains etc. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook properly. Starting with good knives to the salad spinner to the dishwasher. We enjoyed spending a day in the garden from time to time, despite the many sights in the region. Mr Räde was wonderful in giving us information on any questions, making reservations for us, etc. An ideal place to enjoy the country life in Burgundy!

Love nest that lives up to its name!

My partner and I used the Easter holidays for a mini vacation in Burgundy and are still happy to have found this little holiday home in a beautiful location. It is furnished with a lot of attention to detail and has absolutely everything your heart desires. In addition, we were able to use the legendary "Baguette & Croissant" service and the landlord lovingly provided us with firewood for the fireplace. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you once again for such a wonderful stay - we will be happy to come back and can highly recommend this cottage!

Peace and relaxation guaranteed!

During the three days we were here, we didn't miss anything and felt very comfortable.

- in the very cozy, extremely tastefully furnished and well-equipped holiday apartment
- in the beautiful, large garden with a great, far-reaching view to the south and space for children to play
- on the cozy, sheltered terrace in front of the living room
- with very delicious croissants and baguettes delivered by the service
- thanks to the great excursion tips from the very nice landlord, who has been living there for almost 20 years

We will definitely come back, but next time for a longer stay.

Cozy feel-good ambiance in cultural landscape

This is a beautiful holiday home that has been decorated with a lot of effort and taste. Everything you need for a carefree stay is really available.

The terrace or garden immediately creates a holiday atmosphere. The baguette and croissant delivery service right to the house is perfect every day.

The landlord is super nice, helpful, and has a tip for everyone's taste about the surrounding area.

We will be happy to come back! It's very good.
