Location and surroundings of object
The listed, 300-year-old house is located in the centre of the spa town of Seiffen on a quiet side street. A parking space for one car is directly at the house. Another parking space for up to two cars is located 50 m below the house.
From here you can easily reach most of the facilities of the village, church, library, tourist information, toy museum, show workshops and shopping facilities, in a few minutes on foot.
The history of the house location dates back to before 1545, making it one of the oldest locations in Seiffen. Experience the quaint atmosphere of the house in small cosy rooms, with old doors, sloping floors, walls and beams.
Seiffen offers an unforgettable holiday experience at any time of year. It is the centre of the traditional wood art of the Erzgebirge. The town and its surroundings offer historical and interesting facts about mining and glass and copper smelting.
In addition to the numerous shops selling Erzgebirge wood art, the Erzgebirge Toy Museum and the historical open-air museum are particularly inviting places to visit. Here you can vividly follow how Erzgebirge wood art came into being and how it developed.
From the surrounding mountains, which are easy to hike, there are unforgettable views of the village and across the Ore Mountains to the Fichtelberg, Augustusburg Castle or the nearby Maly Haj on the Bohemian Ore Mountain Ridge. On the mountains you are surrounded by peace and quiet and can let your thoughts run free.
Excursions are possible to the old mining towns of Annaberg, Freiberg, Schneeberg and Schwarzenberg, towns full of history and charm, as well as to cities such as Chemnitz, Dresden or Meissen.
Due to the immediate location on the border to the Czech Republic, many border crossings allow short distances to the neighbouring country with old towns like Kadan and the spas Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lásne, as well as the venerable Prague.
For hikers there are well marked hiking trails, especially the ridge trail from the Vogtland to the Osterzgebirge mountains.
Cyclists can choose from flat routes on the Flöhatalradweg to the challenging Stoneman miriquidi mountain bike trail.
In winter, there are cross-country ski trails and a ski lift in the village. In the Klíny sports area, nine kilometres away, you will find a larger and more demanding ski area.

Beautiful
For 20 years, we have mostly been in this cozy holiday home every year, usually during Advent, and we feel very comfortable there. We come every year with different friends and family to this house, and everyone felt at ease. It is located in the town center near the church and the Advent festivities. The bakery is across the street. It has an ideal location.

Holiday home K2 Seiffen
This 300-year-old holiday cottage has been restored and furnished with great sensitivity and love. It is simply a place to feel good! Nothing is missing, even a sauna provides relaxation after hiking. It is centrally located in the toy village of Seiffen, so all shops can be reached on foot.

Very beautiful, quietly located holiday home
The pleasant atmosphere of a very well-kept house invites cozy vacation days. The furnishings in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room are very well chosen. The house is located in the middle of the village and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The hosts are very friendly and the price-performance ratio is right. We would gladly come back.

Family vacation with tradition
We spent a wonderful family weekend in the beautiful, historic house. All attractions in Seiffen are within walking distance, yet it is wonderfully quiet. Great communication in advance, everything was clearly and understandably explained and described. The house itself is well-equipped and very clean, in line with its style. We lacked nothing. We would only recommend a few more cozy seating options in the living room. For this equipment and location, a bargain price! Thank you very much for that!
