Description
We have lovingly restored our over 200-year-old vicarage.
We live in the main house and welcome you to our separate holiday flat next door in the holiday region of Mecklenburg.
We will be happy to provide you with any information you may need for a successful holiday
The entrance to your holiday flat is on the side of the house, so you have "yourself to yourself".
In the garden, a seating area is waiting for you to have breakfast or to read. You can relax in the sun on two new loungers.
The flat has a bedroom with a large double bed. In the living room you can make yourself comfortable on a big sofa. If necessary, a child travelling with you can sleep here
The kitchen has all the usual utensils. You can eat your meals at the round dining table. You can enjoy the evening on the high terrace in the willow dome, with a wonderful view over the countryside. We are happy to provide a barbecue if required.
We are happy to lend you bicycles, and a bicycle trailer for children or supplies is also available
A small, well-behaved dog can be brought along after consultation, but this will cause a little more cleaning effort, which we charge a one-time fee of € 10.

Location and surroundings of object
Our parsonage is located at the edge of the village on a dead-end street.
Our house has a spacious garden with a terrace for sitting comfortably and also for barbecuing. In the garden you will find various places to relax and "unwind": under the parish lime tree (if you like, in the hammock), on the high terrace with willow dome, on the swing in the chestnut tree or on the terrace by the house. Children like to feed the sheep or cuddle our tomcat Jupp. Our dog Lotta (Bernese-Swiss cattle mix) is looking forward to playmates.
If you have forgotten a good book, you are welcome to borrow one from our library.
For film lovers, we have a good selection of DVD films worth watching.
For those who love classical music, we would like to point out the Mecklenburg Vorpommern Festival, which includes (among many other fine events) the open-air concerts of the Schwerin Castle Festival. We will be happy to help you order tickets.
Our small village is located in a secluded and quiet area. But it is also central to various excursion destinations.
The baker's van regularly comes by on Saturdays and the butcher's van in the middle of the week. The small town of Crivitz is about 12 kilometres away and offers everything for daily needs (4 supermarkets, butchers, bakery, boutiques, hairdressers, opticians, hospital, doctors, pharmacies, petrol stations, workshops). In Barnin there is fresh fish from the fisherman.
Sternberg also has the usual supermarkets, including a very well-stocked Edeka, where vegans will also find what they are looking for.
You will find a small, fine organic food shop in Parchim.
In the vicinity of our village there are fishing lakes and beautiful lakes with bathing opportunities as well as other worthwhile destinations that are easily accessible by bike.
The Baltic Sea and its beautiful beaches can be reached by car in about an hour. Our pretty state capital Schwerin with its castle worth seeing is only about 40 minutes away. A visit to the state theatre is very worthwhile. Wismar is also 45 minutes away, as is the baroque town of Ludwigslust (area monument). Another excursion destination is Plau am See, about 40 minutes away. The monastery in Dobbertin am See, 25 minutes from us, is well worth a visit. And many more places are waiting for your visit. Our holiday flat is basically designed for 2 people. Additional persons are possible for a small surcharge: 1 more adult sleeping on the large sofa in the living room - but we have also accommodated families with 2 small children (we can provide a cot, there is also a high chair) - for teenage fellow travellers we can also put up a tent in the garden.

Relaxed and calm
We felt very comfortable in an excellent holiday flat in the old vicarage on the edge of the village. Everything was available to spend a few quiet days in Prestin. We can only recommend our landlords. The central location means you can get to Schwerin, Parchim, Ludwigslust etc. quickly by car.
