- General: Electric light, electric heating, running cold and hot water
- Kitchen with dining area equipped with electric stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster, etc. Standard kitchen equipment (dishes, cutlery, etc.) is available. The kitchen was renovated in 2020.
- Shower with washbasin
- Living room with seating area, wood-burning stove, color TV (German channels)
- Bedroom with double bed (German dimensions) and large built-in wardrobe, enough space for clothes, etc. available.
- Biological toilet (outwardly not much different from a regular WC - model Separett Villa 9000) and 1 dry toilet in the outbuilding
- Covered terrace with garden furniture
- Parking space directly in front of the house, lawn for sunbathing etc. as well.
- The small outbuilding is equipped with 1 bunk bed, built-in wardrobe, folding table and chairs.
- A rowboat on Lake Värmeln is included in the rental price.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a peninsula on the small part of the Värmelnsees (recreational) on a ca 2000 square meters large plot of land. Distance to the sea around 150 M. (Bathing facilities and jetty) In addition lies on the land from a neighbouring house logs with 2 beds. about 50km away from Arvika in Värmland close to the Norwegian border and Vänernsee (here is salmon fishing).

Cancellation terms:
You will receive a refund of half the booking amount minus the cancellation fee if you cancel the booking at least 40 days before the scheduled check-in by 12 noon CET (Central European Time). If you cancel between 40 and 14 days before the scheduled check-in, you will receive a 20% refund. If you cancel less than 14 days before check-in, you will not receive any refund.

The house is located about 50km from Arvika in Värmland, close to the Norwegian border. The lake Värmeln is beautiful and especially in the months May to September a dream. Grocery shop with petrol station approx. 8 km Restaurant 15 km Fishing permit can be purchased at the grocery shop or via ifiske App.

Holiday in Sweden
The cozy house met our expectations exactly! It is very comfortable and lovingly furnished, and we didn't miss anything in the kitchen either. Everything is very clean and orderly.
The short distance to several bathing spots with shallow, small beaches and the rowboat was particularly great for us and our two children.
The hosts are super nice and helpful and were always available to help and advise us. Great! We would go there again anytime.

Simply great, gladly again
My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to spend 14 days in this place! It was a lovely stay through and through. The cottage is in a quiet location near a lake in a holiday area, and has everything you need for such a stay. The whole thing is rounded off with the beautiful nature around you!
The Mautsch family are really very accommodating and nice hosts. Every question you have is answered, and you are supported and advised in every other way. We have rarely, if not never, had such a pleasant stay and hosts as in these 14 days! Really great!
I can gladly recommend this holiday home of the Mautsch family without a guilty conscience :)

Brilliant holiday for two
First of all, we were totally unsure about Corona, as the travel warning for Sweden was lifted a few days before the start of our trip. The Mautsch family took all our worries away and we had the most fantastic, adventurous and relaxed holiday ever. Away from all the hustle and bustle, in the middle of the forest.
We would recommend the yellow house at any time. Pure nature and idyll. It had everything you need. When can you say that we had our own forest hare that hobbled by almost every day, cranberries and blueberries in huge quantities right outside the front door? Everything was available in the house. We even used the fireplace once when it was 13 degrees. Wonderful. Cooking in the new kitchen was super fun. We took homemade jam back to Germany as a delicious takeaway. The small, well-kept sandy beach and the jetty were within walking distance and since we had great weather on all but one day, we took full advantage of it. The grounds are very well maintained and all the neighbours were nice
The Mautsch family was always helpful and on hand when we had questions. We would come back again and again.

Super nice communication
Unfortunately we had to cancel our planned holiday in Sweden due to Corona (travel dates fictitious). So we can only evaluate the communication that took place with the landlord. This was very uncomplicated, prompt, quite flexible in view of the Corona problem, accommodating and accommodating. Simply super! We will definitely make a note of this lovely cottage for our next trip to Sweden.
