Description
The holiday home is approx. 120 sqm. The open room design runs through the whole house. The large room behind the entrance area is generously designed. It invites you to linger. On the new sofa you can read, chat or watch TV. The fireplace provides pleasant warmth on colder days. From here, too, you have an unrestricted view of the lake through the panorama window.from here you reach the living/dining area with its large panoramic window and view of the lake. The récamiere or the dining table invite you to linger or enjoy a cosy meal.
From here you go directly to the kitchen. It is fully equipped with a cooker (ceramic hob) and oven, and a dishwasher is available.
In the smaller adjoining room there is a cosy sleeping area for two persons (lake view), in addition there is a small sofa. From here you reach the bedroom with double bed, which is reached via a small staircase.
The bathroom, which is located in the lower area, was redesigned in spring 2015. A guest toilet is also available.
The sauna is located directly on the lake. The newly installed panorama window offers a wonderful unrestricted view of the lake during the sauna session. The jetty was newly built in 2017. a new, second terrace was built in 2018 to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun (40sqm).
Small cottage
Two people can sleep in the small cabin right next to the holiday home. It is ideal for older children. A heater provides pleasant warmth even in cool temperatures.

The holiday home is located directly on the Värmein. Swimming, bathing or just enjoying the peace and quiet is possible right outside the door
Tasebo is a small village about 25 km from Arvika. In Arvika you can find everything you need for your daily needs, and Arvika also invites you to go shopping with its many small shops
For "quick" shopping, you can drive to Edane, about 12 km away. You can get almost everything in the small supermarket.

Fishing:
The large lake right outside the door opens up a fishing paradise. Take a small motorboat or canoe out onto the lake and fish in the tranquillity of Sweden. Perch and pike cavort right outside the door, waiting to be fished. Basic fishing equipment is available in the house, professionals should bring their own equipment. An electric motor can be hired on request.
Canoe:
Whether alone or with the family: a canoe trip across the lake is always a little adventure. Life jackets are available!
Golf:
The Arrvika Golf Club is located about 10 km away.
After playing eighteen holes, swimming in the lake on your doorstep is pure relaxation and enjoyment.
Hiking:
Km away is the Glaskogen National Park. Extensive hikes or canoe trips are a special experience. Once you have immersed yourself in the national park, you will want to go there again and again.

Condition of the house
Dilapidated furniture ... holes in sofas and blankets, defective beds on the upper floor ... dirty pillows ...
While showering, there are small electric shocks (defects have been reported to the landlord) ... the cleanliness and order of all cabinets leave much to be desired ... no recommendation! Price-performance ratio does not align.

A house to stay in
For the second time we enjoyed the beautiful nature, the cold lake, the long and bright nights around the campfire and the sauna. As with our first holiday in the Stuhr family's house, we left the stress and hectic of everyday life behind us after just a few hours
It is simply wonderful to start the day on the jetty, with a light wind and great sunshine, with breakfast. The pancakes with wild strawberries and blueberries taste even better this way.
We can only recommend the house, the neighbours (if you happen to meet someone), the surroundings and simply the complete Gemytet package.
We are looking forward to spending a few weeks here every now and then in the coming years!

Holiday home close to nature with beautiful lake view
Gemytet is a holiday home lovingly decorated by the owners. The large panoramic window offers guests an incredibly beautiful view of the lake. Whether fishing or simply enjoying nature - every guest will have a wonderful holiday here. We will gladly come back!!!!

Dream location - beautiful furnishings
A beautiful house right by the lake with the highlight of a sauna on the jetty, which I enjoyed very much. The tours with the paddle boat were very impressive. I will definitely visit the house with its magnificent view over the lake more often. It left nothing to be desired.
TIP: Even in October, I spent a relaxed, very colorful time there last year.

My family and I live near Hamburg (Halstenbek). We have newly furnished and renovated the holiday home in Tasebo and enjoy going there ourselves. We enjoy the peace and quiet by the lake, and swimming in the lake, whether in the morning, at noon or in the evening, is wonderful We also like to sit around the campfire and grill our sausages on the tripod. If the weather is not as good as we would like, we enjoy the warmth in the sauna Oh yes: we haven't experienced any mosquito plagues yet, until now they have always been as numerous there as you know them from Northern Germany! :) We look forward to hearing from you.
