In a very quiet location right on the edge of the woods is our chalet type house. We would like to offer you the cozy holiday apartment on the ground floor for a relaxing hiking week or a skiing holiday in the fresh mountain air, away from the big city noise. In a short distance behind the house you can watch a spectacular waterfall with a drop of more than 100 ft. An incredible excitement is waiting for the adventurous ones who dare climbing up the newly installed via ferrata next to the waterfall. Once you have crossed the two leg-shaking suspension bridges and passed the slightly overhanging grade "D" rocks, you are close to the top. If you feel like going for this unforgettable experience we will provide the climbing equipment free of charge and if you never have done that before I might acompany you at your first time.
Numerous marked routes for unexperienced or passionate hikers lead through unspoiled nature. The daring ones, looking for some excitement can choose from a number of climbing tours with various grades of difficulties and the sure-footed ones who love the challenge and adventure can enjoy an incredible view from up to 10,000 ft high mountain peaks. There's surely no limit for unforgettable experiences.

Things to know
From June/July and partly until October, the many mountain huts are open to the public. Mountain hikers can eat there at reasonable prices and also spend the night (Alpine Club members enjoy special rates). It is an indescribable experience to be there at sunrise high in the mountains. Especially popular are 2-4 day hikes from hut to hut. Hut directories with opening times and prices are available.
For skiers, snowboarders and tobogganers, the Golmer ski area is close by. As early as the beginning of December, the lifts are in operation on weekends, and from mid-December onwards continuously until the end of the season. In 3 sections and in only 15 minutes, a single-cable gondola lift with 8-person cabins takes you up to over 2000 m above sea level. The lifts are in continuous operation from h-. There are ski passes for 3 - 21 days, day passes 1 - 2 1/2 days, sun passes for pedestrians only, tobogganing passes (ski passes are not valid for night tobogganing), points passes, single passes, hourly passes or season passes and, above all, a FREE ski bus from St. Anton to Vandans.
Family discount on ski passes: When buying one adult ski pass and two children's passes, all additional children ski for free.
With the Golm package you get all the ski equipment, ski pass and a ski or snowboard course for 6 days. A trial package for 3 days is also possible.
At the Golm, children are looked after for 1 hour free of charge, each additional half hour costs approx. € 2.50.
Events at the Golm: children's festival, music days, ladies' day, Easter bunny party, snow volleyball tournament, guest ski race, prize draw (daily draw for day tickets, win your ticket back).
Brand new is the Rätikonbahn, which was built in summer 2001. A 6-seater chairlift with comfort seats and weather protection bonnets, it now replaces the Grüneck T-bar lift.
Culinary & Après Ski: The Cafe-Bistro ZICK-ZACK at the Latschau valley station. Halfway up, the rustic HAUS MATSCHWITZ for a cosy snack, and at the top station the panorama restaurant GRÜNECK, as the name suggests, with a fantastic view, self-service restaurant and large umbrella bar. Next to it the BERGHOF GOLM with large sunbathing terrace, overnight accommodation, children's playground and free ski depot. The Berghof is also open in the evening.

Dream vacation
The apartment is located in a very quiet area (we really enjoyed this peace) and there is a waterfall and climbing route nearby. We were there for hiking and found many beautiful hiking trails in the vicinity. The apartment is nicely and comfortably furnished and has everything you need. And the hosts are also very nice and friendly. In short, we had a very nice vacation.
