Description
The friendly and very cozy 4-room maisonette apartment (approx. 60 m²) on the 2nd floor (and attic floor) offers a high level of functionality and is fully furnished. The flooring in the living and sleeping areas is vinyl design, in the 3rd bedroom (in the attic) carpet, the kitchen and the bathroom / WC are tiled.
The holiday apartment offers sleeping accommodations for a total of 6 people. For small children, we are also happy to provide a travel cot (without mattress, duvet, pillow, and covers) if needed (for a small fee); a high chair is available and can be used free of charge.
From the hallway with mirror, coat rack, and shoe cabinet, you can easily reach all rooms of your holiday apartment. The bright and friendly living/dining room features a separate sitting area with a comfortable couch and coffee table, a separate dining table with 6 chairs, as well as a sideboard. From the living room, you have direct access to the approximately 8 m² large and sunny balcony (facing south and west) with various balcony furniture – here you can sit back and relax in the greenery and enjoy the mild summer evenings in peace with a good glass of wine! For your entertainment, the holiday apartment offers two modern flatscreen TVs (one on each level), a stereo system with Bluetooth, a DVD player, as well as a small selection of books and board games. In addition, the apartment has free Wi-Fi. The separate open kitchen includes a fully equipped fitted kitchenette with a 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, extractor hood, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle, and toaster. The kitchen is excellently and fully equipped with dishes, glasses, cutlery, and pots.
The spacious first bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, and a spacious wardrobe.
The separate and additional second The bedroom features two comfortable single beds. In addition, this room has a nightstand and a spacious wardrobe with large mirrors.
A small staircase from the living room leads you to the attic of the apartment with the 3rd bedroom. This is furnished with 2 separate single beds, 2 armchairs with a coffee table, as well as 2 small dressers, and has an additional TV set. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, toilet, a hairdryer, and ample storage space.
A communal (coin-operated) washing machine and a tumble dryer are located in a separate building of the residential complex and can be used by all guests.
You can park your car free of charge in a parking space (carport) belonging to your apartment directly behind the house, and your bicycles can be stored in a separate bicycle shelter of the residential complex. If you do not bring your own bicycles, you can rent them from a bicycle rental shop in the immediate vicinity of your residence if you are interested.
Bringing a dog is possible upon request – the flat-rate additional cost for the increased final cleaning effort is a one-time fee of €30.00.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment in the interest of our non-smoking guests; please use the balcony for this. Thank you for your understanding! A laundry package (complete bed linen – the beds are already made, one large bath towel, two hand towels, one bath mat, and one dish towel) can be booked as an initial supply for €30.00 per person.
The additional costs for this apartment amount to a total of €132.00 (€25.00 processing fee and €107.00 final cleaning fee) plus, if applicable, the increased final cleaning surcharge for pets of €30.00.

Location and surroundings of object
It is about 1000 m to the fine sandy beach and the pier, passing shops, cafés, and restaurants that invite you to stroll and linger. From the pier you can already enjoy the sweeping view of the marina. In just 4 minutes you are at the Molli station Kühlungsborn-East, where the bus station is also located. Kühlungsborn probably owes its popularity as a holiday resort not least to its wonderful sandy beach.
The fine Kühlungsborn beach is approx. 6 km long and considered one of the most attractive beaches on the Baltic Sea.
The beach is wide and well-maintained and divided into different sections.
There are wheelchair-accessible ramps, a barrier-free bathing jetty, many leisure activities, a section for nudists, and two designated dog beaches.
The sea at the shore is mostly fine sandy, stone-free, and gently sloping, making it ideal for families with small children. Parallel to the beach and along the dunes, the beach promenade invites you to take a walk.
The almost 4 km long promenade with uninterrupted sea views is the longest waterfront promenade in Germany and connects the eastern and western parts of Kühlungsborn. Along the beach promenade you will find several playgrounds, cafés, and other places to linger.

Very worn-out and old-fashioned
Kühlungsborn is a beautiful place to unwind. However, we did not feel comfortable in the apartment. The furniture in the top-floor apartment is very old. The bathroom is quite small and dirty. The toilet paper holder was hanging askew. The shower needs renovation. The kitchen was okay. The living area seemed dirty due to the wooden floor. The bedrooms had a youth hostel style. The beds needed to be made by ourselves. We had different expectations for the price. The Wi-Fi in the 'room by the sea' office was unfortunately not usable after several inquiries. We searched in vain for a barbecue area. Where was the laundry room?
We left early.

Wir danken Ihnen für die Rückmeldung, denn nur so, egal ob positiv oder negativ, können wir die Wohnung den Wünschen unserer Gäste anpassen und die Arbeiten der Argentur und Reinigungsunternehmen einschätzen.
Wir haben uns sofort mit der Agentur in Verbindung gesetzt und den Inhalt der Bewertung weiter gegeben.
Weder wir noch Sie sind darüber informiert worden, dass die Betten nicht bezogen werden dürfen, dieses sind die aktuellen Coronaauflagen an die sich die Agentur hält. Ebenso hätte die Agentur Sie darüber informieren müssen, wo die verscheidenen Einrichtungen (Waschhaus) zu finden sind. Ebenso haben wir den Reinigungszustand reklamiert.
Den Hinweis auf die Betten haben wir dankend aufgenommen und gleich neue Betten gekauft und aufgestellt. Die Betten sind bei den aktuellen Bildern zu finden.
An der Größe des Bades können wir leider nichts ändern, im Gundriss war das Bad aber erkennbar. Die Toilettenpapierhalterung wurde befestigt.
Das WLAN ist aktiv. Bisher hatte noch kein Gast ein Problem sich dort anzumelden. Wir sind nach Ihrer Abreise in die Wohnung gefahren und haben uns vom einwandfreien Zustand überzeugen können. Während Ihres Aufenthaltes haben wir der Agentur noch einmal die Zugangsdaten gesendet, die Sie anscheinend nicht bekommen haben.
Wie Sie vielleicht an unserer Reaktion sehen, sind wir bemüht, dass sich unsere Gäste wohlfühlen.

Short trip with kids and dog
We traveled with 3 children, 1 dog, and my sister. The apartment was fully sufficient for 6 people. The location of the apartment was great, with a Netto nearby and not far from the center. Unfortunately, the weather limited our beach walks a bit (Storm Sabine), but thanks to the Wi-Fi in the apartment, the kids didn't get bored so easily :). A few new board games might be worth considering since the existing ones weren't suitable for today's generation :) and some were missing instructions.
All in all, it was a nice short trip to the Baltic Sea.

Super relaxing holiday in a TOP apartment.
Thank you for the wonderful time. We spent a weekend in Kühlungsborn with a few friends. Besides the great location of the apartment, the layout of the rooms is perfect for several people to stay together. It was our first time in Kühlungsborn, and definitely not the last. The apartment is highly recommended.

Great, successful weekend
The location and facilities of the accommodation were excellent. Sleeping on the low bunk beds was very inconvenient for older guests. Maybe the height of the beds should be pointed out again. Otherwise, it is a great apartment even with several people.

Dear Wunderlich family,
First of all, we wish you a healthy New Year 2020.
We feel very comfortable in your holiday apartment with our two indoor cats. It is no coincidence that we have now booked the apartment for the third time in October. The apartment is modernly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired.
It is especially nice that we can bring our furry companions.
It is very difficult to find holiday properties where cats are allowed. The only suggestion for improvement could be a new shower cubicle. Otherwise, everything is great :-)
