In Erfenschlag, the smallest district in the south of Chemnitz, lies the cosy holiday flat Storchennest in the attic of our house. Enjoy the wonderful view of Chemnitz and the Ore Mountains - just like the stork from its nest. Very quietly situated, yet you can reach the city centre of Chemnitz or the A 72 (exit Chemnitz-Süd) within only approx. 10 min.
On 65 m² you have 2 separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub at your disposal. You can park your car free of charge on a parking space in the property. Children are very welcome. If required, a travel cot, a high chair and a changing table can be provided.
You will find a supermarket and a bakery within 500m. The coffee house "Voigt" on Erfenschlager Straße and the pizzeria "Mediterraneum" just around the corner cater for your physical well-being. Other restaurants can be found within a few minutes by car or on foot in Altchemnitz, Reichenhain and Einsiedel.
Neighbouring fields and forests invite you to take short and long walks and hikes.
Erfenschlag is well connected to the public transport network.

Location and surroundings of object
Small and large hikes can be undertaken directly from the holiday flat. Due to the good transport connections, you can reach the cities of Dresden, Freiberg, Leipzig, Zwickau, Annaberg and Marienberg within an hour from the accommodation. The location in the south of Chemnitz is ideal for excursions into the Ore Mountains. We are happy to give our guests tips for excursions and activities. The holiday flat is located in the south of Chemnitz, in the Erfenschlag district. The cultural facilities in the city centre of Chemnitz are easy to reach by car as well as by public transport. The "Niedereinsiedler Wald" landscape conservation area and the Einsiedel dam are nearby. The many museums in the city of Chemnitz (Tietz, Villa Esche, Art Collections, Museum Gunzenhauser, Industrial Museum and many more) are recommended. The Chemnitz Opera House enjoys great recognition with its performances. The holiday flat is also ideally located for small and large bicycle tours in the Zwönitz and Chemnitz valleys.

Very nice accommodation.
Very nice hosts.
The apartment is comfortably furnished and clean. It has everything you need.
We explored quite a bit and would like to come back again.

great accommodation in a relaxing location
We were welcomed by nice and lovely landlords. The flat is super nice, modern and nicely furnished and very clean. You immediately feel right at home. In the great kitchen, which lacks nothing, cooking is fun even on holiday
The location is fantastic, very quiet, relaxing and you have a great view of the beautiful surrounding landscape. In a short time you are in the city centre of Chemnitz. There are numerous possibilities for activities

very nice accommodation
The flat is equipped as described, very cosy and well maintained. One
everything you need. The landlords are very nice and helpful. It is very quiet and relaxing.
Nevertheless, it is not far to the train station and the city of Chemnitz. We have used the Erzgebigscard to "tour" the highlights of the Erzgebig with public transport. We will recommend the flat to others and would be happy to come back
