Description
Our comfortably and cosily furnished holiday home with garden, sun terrace and south-facing balcony offers space for 6 people and also has the option of a baby cot.
In the entrance area you will find a large wardrobe. The living room has a cosy seating area, pellet stove, LED TV and stereo system. The large cosy dining area invites you to enjoy nice game evenings and delicious family meals. In our modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave you will find everything for cooking and baking. Kitchen and dish towels incl. tabs are available. The bathroom has a glass shower cubicle, washbasin, mirrored cabinet and WC. We have 3 bedrooms, one with a separate washbasin and toilet, the other two with their own washing facilities. Our Knusperhaus Gretel is heated with a modern infrared heater and also has a pellet stove for cosy evenings. They have a stable free wifi. With our information folder for great excursions and the many flyers you can plan your days.
As a welcome gift, you will receive 1 bottle of sparkling wine and 1 bag of jelly bears.
From November to March you will also receive free pellets (15kg). Pellets are available all year round for 4€ per bag. Towels (5€ p.p.) and bed linen (10€ p.p. covered) can be booked in addition.
The south-facing balcony is equipped with 2 garden chairs and the terrace with garden furniture and parasol.
In times of Corona, you will receive a pack of disinfectant wipes from us, which you can also take with you on your excursions.

Lake Edersee offers many recreational opportunities in the area of water sports. It attracts visitors with a great range of leisure activities. At Waldeck Castle you can enjoy the fantastic view and delicious coffee and cake.

Enjoy your holiday near the Kellerwald-Edersee nature reserve.
We had a fantastic time. The house is cozy, the kitchen well-equipped. The terrace gets sun all day. We were pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the Kellerwald-Edersee nature reserve. Beautiful walks right near the house. The dam at Edersee, Frankenberg, and Bad Wildungen are more than worth the trip. We enjoyed it!

Super cosy
We had actually planned a men's weekend in Sweden, but Corona unfortunately refused to let us leave. This alternative was super cosy, well located to do some things in nature. Lake Edersee is also just a few minutes away by car. The nearby nature reserve invites you to go hiking and the pellet stove provides a pleasant atmosphere
