Villa Barbarossa is a charming house and waterfront property with access to the Atlantic Ocean. The house has a beautiful pool with spa, large sun deck, boat dock and much more. Offered for rent is the west wing of the villa with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fort Lauderdale is officially known as the "Venice of America" because of its enormous number of canals, comparable to the Italian Venice. The house and grounds are stylishly decorated with original antique nautical / maritime items giving a warm comfortable and tropical feel. The property borders a saltwater canal and offers a boat dock, sun deck with ample seating / lounging areas. The pool is perfect for swimming / sunbathing or just dangling your legs in it to read a book. You also have the option to rent a boat and spend quality time on the water or on the beach. The front garden of the property is beautiful with a large driveway and offers more than enough parking space. Villa Barbarossa has an excellent location on a peninsula surrounded by canals in dreamlike tranquility, but in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and close to everything important: Beach, nightlife, shopping centres, restaurants, bars, attractions, the Everglades, international airport, parks, golf and tennis courts, the largest cruise ship harbour (Port Everglades) in the USA and much more. Villa Barbarossa is simply the perfect accommodation for your Florida holiday. Villa Barbarossa is a charming waterfront ocean access home with private pool. Offered for rent is the West Wing of the Villa with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fort Lauderdale officially also is called " Venice of America " because of hundreds of canals and waterways across the city. The house truly sets the standards for relaxation, indoor and outdoors is decorated with authentic nautical / maritime treasures for comfort and a tropical feel. The beautiful backyard facing a saltwater canal also features a covered porch, sun deck and lots of seating. The pool is perfect for swimming, sunbathing or just soaking your feet in while reading a book. Also you have the possibility to rent the boat to spend a day on the water or beach. Your house is fully equipped with WI-FI internet, central air conditioning and many more things. The front yard and garden are beautiful and the circular drive way has lots of parking. Villa Barbarossa has an excellent location in a cul-de-sac (Peninsula), a very safe and very quiet neighborhood but in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and close to everything: beach,shopping,restaurants,bars,nightlive,attractions,airport,Interstate Highway / Turnpike, the Everglades,the largest cruise ship sea port in the ( Port Everglades), Down Town,Parks,Golf Course,Tennis Court, you name it. Dreamlike, read for yourself!

After a warm welcome from Ashley & Max, we spent unforgettable days in this magical harbor accommodation. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail. Cozy, really comfortable, great view, dreamy sunsets & sunrises. Well-maintained and clean, equipped with everything the heart desires. We felt right at home. The house is super central. The hosts are very warm with great tips for the vacation. Every wish was fulfilled. We will come back! Thank you, Nadja, Robin, Kimi, and Daniel.

Dream vacation

Our stay at the "Villa Barbarossa" in Fort Lauderdale was simply fantastic and pure relaxation! The charming house on a beautiful waterfront property immediately captivated us.
Our personal highlights:
The outdoor area and pool: The private pool and terrace were our absolute favorite spot. The large sun deck provided plenty of space to relax, and the direct access to the canal with the boat dock created the ultimate Florida feeling. The atmosphere was very private and peaceful.
Amenities and cleanliness: The accommodation was very clean, well-maintained, and cozily furnished. Everything needed for a comfortable vacation was available, from the kitchen to the towels.
Location: The location is ideal. You can quickly reach the hotspots of Fort Lauderdale, but at the same time enjoy the tranquility of the residential area. The proximity to the Atlantic (accessible via the canal) is a big plus. Hospitality: The handling and communication with the hosts was uncomplicated, friendly, and professional.
Conclusion:
We can wholeheartedly recommend the "Villa Barbarossa." Those looking for a charming holiday home with a special flair, great outdoor area, and proximity to water will find it here. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Beautiful idyllic place

I arrived with my husband and our son, and we had an incredibly lovely stay at a very family-friendly and idyllic place.
The accommodation was very clean, lovingly and stylishly furnished.
The highlight was the romantic terrace with a view of the canal and the comfortable outdoor kitchen.
Not to forget, the beautiful pool where we could refresh ourselves.
We also really liked the location.
It provided a great starting point for all activities. A big thank you goes to the hosts, Max and Ashley, we will definitely be back! ❤️

Feel good all around!

We felt very comfortable in this apartment. The landlord was extremely hospitable, uncomplicated, and very helpful. The apartment was absolutely clean, the beds very comfortable, and it had heating as well as an air conditioning and ventilation system.
The apartment included a complete, well-equipped outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace right by the canal, grilling, and eating. The view was breathtakingly beautiful. The terrace area is very lovingly decorated. The pool has a jacuzzi, which we were able to use after a very informative and rewarding boat trip.

Vacation in Paradise by Max. (Fort Lauderdale)

We, 2 adults and our grandson, spent 19 nights in the vacation apartment. In between, we took a cruise from Miami to the Caribbean! Max Götze is a very friendly and accommodating German-speaking host. Fort Lauderdale is easily accessible by rental car. The vacation apartment offers everything you need! Cleanliness is emphasized in Max's house! 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are very clean, and the necessary air conditioning for July/August ensures comfort! In the outdoor area, there is a covered kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink, 2 gas cooktops, and a grill. One could easily be self-sufficient; breakfast and dinner by the canal were a dream. Especially the sunrises and sunsets left lasting memories. The pool was absolutely fantastic; it was cleaned weekly by a company! There were plenty of towels for the house and pool. The design of the outdoor area by the pool and terrace was also very interesting. The property is spacious and offers a private atmosphere.
Shopping by car is no problem, Publix and Aldi are 5 minutes away.
Thank you very much to Max, it was truly a very nice time! For my wife, who needed peace and relaxation, it was ideal! We will definitely come back! Greetings to Fort Lauderdale.

Wellness oasis??❤️

We, my husband and I, felt very comfortable from the first day in this very centrally located accommodation right on the canal. It was a 13-minute drive to the beach by car. Shopping facilities nearby, 40 minutes to Miami, easy access to the Everglades and other attractions, and everything was just perfect. You could rent a boat on-site for a beautiful trip to secret beaches, snorkeling, or kayaking. We particularly liked the outdoor kitchen with a cozy view of the canal, where manatees kept us company during breakfast. We would like to give a big shoutout to the landlord Max, who made our vacation perfect. He was available at all times with advice and help and is a very special nice person. We were very reluctant to leave this beautiful place and would recommend it to anyone. Since 1998 we have been regularly vacationing in the USA once a year, and this was one of the most beautiful ??? thank you for that and see you soon ❤️???????????

Highly recommended!

We, 3 adults and 1 child (9), had a very nice stay. Max is a courteous and very friendly host. If we had any questions, we could contact him at any time. Max also provided us with some groceries as we arrived late. The accommodation was very clean and a TV, hairdryer, towels, beach towels, and blankets were available. The kitchen with fridge, grill, and hotplates is located outside and we didn't miss anything. With a child, it is never boring in the accommodation, as the pool, a stand-up paddleboard, a canoe, and a dartboard provide variety. We were also able to observe iguanas and various birds. There are enough shopping opportunities in the area, and Miami City can be reached by car in about 45 minutes. We can only say that we were really very satisfied. The location, the accommodation... everything was great. Thanks again to Max ?

very beautiful family vacation

Max is a very nice and helpful host, always ready to assist us when something was missing, he immediately took care of it.
The house has everything you need for sleeping. The outdoor kitchen also had everything you need to cook in the accommodation.
Our son felt very comfortable because he was allowed to use the fishing gear and the paddle boat at any time. We were free to move around the property and use everything, seating areas, pool, stand-up paddleboard, just perfect for us.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach.
Shopping facilities can also be reached within 5-10 minutes.
You definitely need a car otherwise it will be difficult, as there are hardly any public transportation options.
Max always made an effort to give us a nice holiday, and he succeeded in doing so with his relaxed and kind manner.

Perfect for us

We felt absolutely comfortable with Mr Götze. The holiday flat had everything we needed. It was especially nice to sit outside by the canal and enjoy the morning sun. The outdoor kitchen was an experience! Well equipped with everything you need on holiday. It was clean, tidy and nice and quiet.
Mr Götze took great care of us and always gave good advice for every trip and situation. Very friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Holiday flat with pool in a great location

The holiday home is located in a quiet and safe location on a side street in Ft. Lauderdale.

It is an attached flat to the owner's bungalow, who is available for help and advice. The location on the canal with boat dock, the heated pool and the many beautiful seating areas and loungers make the flat unique. A canoe and a SUP are available for guests to explore the surrounding area. The beds (1 double bed / 1 sofa bed) are new and very comfortable. The bathroom is basic with bath / shower but very clean. There is air conditioning which can be self controlled and works perfectly. Outside there is a new covered kitchen with mini oven, microwave, fridge, sink, 2 gas hobs and a Weber Q grill. The breakfast by the canal was a dream. There is a breakfast bar and a nice bar/restaurant within walking distance. For shopping you take the car, Publix and Aldi are 5 minutes away. To the beach you need about 10 minutes by car, the sunrise should be part of it, is beautiful and the beach is always well filled. Many thanks to Max, the German-speaking owner, it was really a very nice time and we will gladly come back!
