Villa Barbarossa is a charming house and waterfront property with access to the Atlantic Ocean. The house has a beautiful pool with spa, large sun deck, boat dock and much more. Offered for rent is the west wing of the villa with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fort Lauderdale is officially known as the "Venice of America" because of its enormous number of canals, comparable to the Italian Venice. The house and grounds are stylishly decorated with original antique nautical / maritime items giving a warm comfortable and tropical feel. The property borders a saltwater canal and offers a boat dock, sun deck with ample seating / lounging areas. The pool is perfect for swimming / sunbathing or just dangling your legs in it to read a book. You also have the option to rent a boat and spend quality time on the water or on the beach. The front garden of the property is beautiful with a large driveway and offers more than enough parking space. Villa Barbarossa has an excellent location on a peninsula surrounded by canals in dreamlike tranquility, but in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and close to everything important: Beach, nightlife, shopping centres, restaurants, bars, attractions, the Everglades, international airport, parks, golf and tennis courts, the largest cruise ship harbour (Port Everglades) in the USA and much more. Villa Barbarossa is simply the perfect accommodation for your Florida holiday. Villa Barbarossa is a charming waterfront ocean access home with private pool. Offered for rent is the West Wing of the Villa with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fort Lauderdale officially also is called " Venice of America " because of hundreds of canals and waterways across the city. The house truly sets the standards for relaxation, indoor and outdoors is decorated with authentic nautical / maritime treasures for comfort and a tropical feel. The beautiful backyard facing a saltwater canal also features a covered porch, sun deck and lots of seating. The pool is perfect for swimming, sunbathing or just soaking your feet in while reading a book. Also you have the possibility to rent the boat to spend a day on the water or beach. Your house is fully equipped with WI-FI internet, central air conditioning and many more things. The front yard and garden are beautiful and the circular drive way has lots of parking. Villa Barbarossa has an excellent location in a cul-de-sac (Peninsula), a very safe and very quiet neighborhood but in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and close to everything: beach,shopping,restaurants,bars,nightlive,attractions,airport,Interstate Highway / Turnpike, the Everglades,the largest cruise ship sea port in the ( Port Everglades), Down Town,Parks,Golf Course,Tennis Court, you name it. Villa Barbarossa is just a perfect place to stay for vacation!

Dreamlike, read for yourself!
After a warm welcome from Ashley & Max, we spent unforgettable days in this magical harbor accommodation. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail. Cozy, really comfortable, great view, dreamy sunsets & sunrises. Well-maintained and clean, equipped with everything the heart desires. We felt right at home. The house is super central. The hosts are very warm with great tips for the vacation. Every wish was fulfilled. We will come back! Thank you, Nadja, Robin, Kimi, and Daniel.

Dream vacation
Our stay at the "Villa Barbarossa" in Fort Lauderdale was simply fantastic and pure relaxation! The charming house on a beautiful waterfront property immediately captivated us.
Our personal highlights:
The outdoor area and pool: The private pool and terrace were our absolute favorite spot. The large sun deck provided plenty of space to relax, and the direct access to the canal with the boat dock created the ultimate Florida feeling. The atmosphere was very private and peaceful.
Amenities and cleanliness: The accommodation was very clean, well-maintained, and cozily furnished. Everything needed for a comfortable vacation was available, from the kitchen to the towels.
Location: The location is ideal. You can quickly reach the hotspots of Fort Lauderdale, but at the same time enjoy the tranquility of the residential area. The proximity to the Atlantic (accessible via the canal) is a big plus. Hospitality: The handling and communication with the hosts was uncomplicated, friendly, and professional.
Conclusion:
We can wholeheartedly recommend the "Villa Barbarossa." Those looking for a charming holiday home with a special flair, great outdoor area, and proximity to water will find it here. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Beautiful idyllic place
I arrived with my husband and our son, and we had an incredibly lovely stay at a very family-friendly and idyllic place.
The accommodation was very clean, lovingly and stylishly furnished.
The highlight was the romantic terrace with a view of the canal and the comfortable outdoor kitchen.
Not to forget, the beautiful pool where we could refresh ourselves.
We also really liked the location.
It provided a great starting point for all activities. A big thank you goes to the hosts, Max and Ashley, we will definitely be back! ❤️

Unsere persönlichen Highlights:
Der Außenbereich und Pool: Der private Pool und die Terrasse waren unser absoluter Lieblingsort. Das große Sonnendeck bot ausreichend Platz zum Entspannen und der direkte Zugang zum Kanal mit dem Bootsdock sorgte für das ultimative Florida-Feeling. Die Atmosphäre war sehr privat und friedlich.
Ausstattung und Sauberkeit: Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen komfortablen Urlaub benötigt, von der Küche bis zu den Handtüchern.
Lage: Die Lage ist ideal. Man ist schnell bei den Hotspots von Fort Lauderdale, kann aber gleichzeitig die Ruhe der Wohngegend genießen. Die Nähe zum Atlantik (über den Kanal erreichbar) ist ein großer Pluspunkt.
Gastfreundschaft: Die Abwicklung und Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert, freundlich und professionell.
Fazit:
Wir können die "Villa Barbarossa" uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wer ein charmantes Ferienhaus mit besonderem Flair, tollem Außenbereich und Wassernähe sucht, wird hier fündig. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Zur Wohnung gehörte eine komplette, gut eingerichtete Außenküche. Wir haben es sehr genossen, auf der Terrasse direkt am Kanal, zu sitzen, zu grillen und zu essen. Der Blick war traumhaft schön. Der Terrassenbereich ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Der Pool verfügt über einen Jacuzzi, den wir nach einer sehr informativen und lohnenswerten Bootsfahrt nutzen durften.
Zwischendurch tätigten wir noch eine Kreuzfahrt von Miami in die Karibik!
Max Götze ist ein sehr sympathischer und entgegenkommender deutschsprachiger Gastgeber.
Fort Lauderdale ist mit dem Mietwagen gut zu erreichen. Die
Ferienwohnung bietet alles was man benötigt! Sauberkeit wird im Haus bei Max großgeschrieben! 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Bad sehr sauber sowie für Juli/August
notwendige Klimaanlage sorgen für Wohlbefinden!
Im Außenbereich gibt es eine überdachte Küche mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Spüle, 2 Gaskochplatten und ein Grill. Man konnte sich prima selbst versorgen, das Frühstück und Abendessen am Kanal war ein Traum. Besonders die Sonnenaufgänge und Untergänge haben bleibende Erinnerung. Der Pool war absolut Spitze, er wurde wöchentlich durch Firma gereinigt!
Handytücher für Haus und Pool waren genügend vorhanden.
Sehr interessant auch die Gestaltung der Außenanlage am Pool und Terrasse.
Die Anlage ist geräumig und bietet Platz für eine private Atmosphäre.
Einkaufen mit dem Auto kein Problem, Publix und Aldi sind 5 Minuten entfernt.
Vielen Dank an Max es war wirklich eine sehr schöne Zeit! Für meine Frau, die Ruhe und Entspannung benötigte, ideal! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Grüße nach Fort Lauderdale.
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht zum schlafen. Die Outdoorküche hatte auch alles was man braucht damit man sich auch in der Unterkunft verpflegen kann.
Unser Sohn hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt, denn er durfte die Angeln und auch das Paddelboot jederzeit benutzen. Wir durften uns frei auf dem Grundstück bewegen und alles nutzen, Sitzecken, Pool, Stand Up, einfach perfekt für uns.
Zum Strand braucht man ca. 15 min.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch innerhalb von 5-10 min zu erreichen.
Man braucht defenitiv ein Auto sonst wird es schwierig, da es kaum Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gibt.
Max war immer bemüht uns ein schönen Urlaub zu bescheren und das hat er im vollen Umfang mit seiner entspannten netten Art geschafft.
Herr Götze hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und immer gute Ratschläge für jeden Ausflug und jede Lebenslage gegeben. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Danke!
Sie ist eine Anliegerwohnung am Bungalow des Besitzers, der mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Die Lage am Kanal mit Bootsanleger, der beheizte Pool und die vielen schönen Sitzplätze und Liegen machen die Wohnung einzigartig. Für die Gäste steht ein Kanu und ein SUP zur Verfügung, mit dem man die nähere Umgebung erkunden kann. Die Betten (1 Doppelbett / 1 Schlafsofa) sind neu und sehr bequem. Das Bad ist einfach mit Badewanne / Dusche, aber sehr sauber. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage, die selbst gesteuert werden kann und tadellos funktioniert. Im Außenbereich gibt es eine überdachte neue Küche mit Minibackofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Spüle, 2 Gaskochplatten und ein Weber Q- Grill. Man konnte sich prima selbst versorgen, das Frühstück am Kanal war ein Traum. Fußläufig zu erreichen gibt es ein Frühstückslokal und eine nette Bar / Restaurant. Zum Einkaufen nimmt man das Auto, Publix und Aldi sind 5 Minuten entfernt. Zum Strand braucht man mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten, der Sonnenaufgang sollte einmal dazugehören, ist wunderschön und der Strand ist immer gut gefüllt. Vielen Dank an Max, den deutschsprachigen Besitzer, es war wirklich eine sehr schöne Zeit und wir kommen gerne wieder!
