Description
The detached holiday home is a lovingly converted new farmhouse made of loam, as they were built in Mecklenburg after the land reform in 1946/47. At that time, they consisted of a kitchen, parlour and stable - all under one roof.
Today, there is a large cosy kitchen-living room, the bathroom and the bedroom on the ground floor. The kitchen can be heated with a Canadian wood stove (Bullerjan). In the bedroom and bathroom there are night storage heaters.
The converted attic is now a large, bright room. Climbing the stairs, there is a spacious sitting area and another Bullerjan to the left, and a large bed to the right
A wide view of the landscape
From all windows you look into the large garden, where fruit trees, berry bushes and many flowers grow in all seasons. From the skylights you also have a wide view of the beautiful Mecklenburg landscape
In the garden there is a slightly elevated, very sunny terrace. Immediately under the kitchen window of the living house are a table and a bench. There are shady places all over the property that you can go to with the light garden furniture or loungers
Depending on the season, you can hear birds singing, bees buzzing, storks chattering, cranes calling or a frog concert.

"Haus Anna" is in a very quiet location away from the main road. There is plenty of room for 3 people in the house.
Books for all ages, board games, badminton - there is something for everyone. Even golf courses can be reached by car after a short drive.
By bike or on foot, you can take beautiful walks through woods and fields, past bright rape fields and thousand-year-old oaks. On the way, many lakes invite you to swim and go boating.
Apart from the towns listed below, the unique castles and manor houses with their parks (Linne'), such as Basedow, Ulrichshusen or Schlitz Castle, are also worth seeing.
In summer there are numerous events in the framework of the Mecklenburg Festival, the Hansa Sail in Rostock, "Open Gardens" on a weekend in June, the pottery market in Teterow in August ...

Mamerow is a small village between Teterow, Krakow am See and Güstrow. It lies in the middle of the typical "rolling hills" and lakes of Mecklenburg. Somewhat off in the fields lies Mamerow's "landmark" - the rebuilt mill.
Hikes can be undertaken directly from the village. The nearest beautiful bathing lake can be reached in 15 minutes by bike.
Bicycles can be rented at the Aral petrol station in Teterow, with delivery and collection on request.

| If Mamerow is occupied, you can also book with W. Georgi, Bansow. There it is more suitable for small children, as all rooms are at ground level. Two children are also better accommodated there. If the temperatures require heating of the Bullerjan, we charge a surcharge for the wood. |

Special recommendation
Next summer, we will go again for 4 weeks to the special holiday home in Mamerow. This raises the question: Why 4 times to this place? We are still drawn to this spacious, comfortably furnished house with its large, diversely designed garden. Every time new discoveries arise when we cycle through the easily accessible area: the open manor houses, concert in a church, gallery mile in Güstrow, a stop at the favorite café, the market in Teterow, the inviting garden café in the village, changing art exhibitions in the old train station. Building on this, we will also succeed in discovering new things during our 4th stay and spending an inspiring and relaxing holiday.

Pure relaxation
We felt very comfortable in House Anna. It is comfortably furnished and offers plenty of space for 2 to 3 people. The hosts are very friendly. The large garden is beautifully designed. We undertook many autumn hikes from the house and always looked forward to returning to House Anna.

Wonderful accommodation in a prime location
This spacious holiday home is characterized by a stylish, personal decor: furniture, floors, doors, windows - everything is made of wood. This emits a warm atmosphere in the middle of a large, also stylishly designed garden. We spent 4 wonderful weeks here and will come back next year.

Benefit for body and soul
The 2 weeks in the house "Anna" were exactly what we were looking for: a cosy, tasteful interior with everything you need. In the large flowering garden you can enjoy silence and nature, the extensive view of the surprisingly hilly Mecklenburg landscape makes you forget everyday life and your mind become wide... Every day we could observe cranes on their forays. If you like to explore quiet paths away from mass tourism by bike or on foot, this is the place for you. Grocery shopping is also possible by bicycle, so that the car can be idle for several days.

An oasis!
We stayed in Haus Anna for 10 days and felt right at home from the start. The landlords are very friendly, obliging and uncomplicated in their communication. We spent most of our time in the garden, which is beautiful with a view of the fields, fruit and nut trees and many cosy corners to sit in. The house is well equipped with everything you need - there is no Wi-Fi and no TV, which was very convenient for us, so we could really switch off and immerse ourselves in books
There is a lot to discover in the surrounding area, but you can also just relax by the lake!
