Our detached boathouse, completely renovated in 2014, is in a secluded location with 81m² of living space on two floors and invites you to a nature holiday on the lake "Tiefer Ziest" in the middle of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The boathouse is situated on the water, so that you can fish directly from the terrace or start a tour on the lake with the rowing boat. Here you can find what has become a rarity elsewhere: seclusion and silence.

Location and surroundings of object
The boathouse is located in a landscape conservation area about 3 km from the villages of Vietgest and Lalendorf (Amt Krakow am See) in the Mecklenburg Switzerland Nature Park. In Lalendorf you will find a supermarket, restaurant, petrol station and regional train connection.
Only 50m from the boathouse is a natural bathing beach with sunbathing lawn, beach volleyball court and bathing jetty.
The lake "Tiefer Ziest" has good water quality and a rich fish population. Therefore, the boathouse is an ideal place for fishing holidays.
Or combine your nature holiday with a city trip to the Hanseatic city of Rostock or the Baltic Sea, which are only about 30 minutes away by car.

Dear guests, as a family with 3 kids we have explored the Mecklenburg lakes by canoe and kayak for many years. A unique landscape that often reminded us of Finland or Sweden. Now we offer our boathouse, because here you are in the middle of nature and can experience Scandinavia without having to travel far. We are happy if we can pass on this feeling to our guests and friends. We have handed over the booking and travel contract processing for our house to the company Novasol.
