A washing machine as well as drying racks, a dishwasher, and a chest freezer are located in the large laundry room in the annex of the garage. This makes the house suitable not only for classic holiday weeks, but also for longer stays where you want to combine nature and comfort.
The surroundings are ideal for hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, and swimming. The Kroppefjäll nature reserve is right on your doorstep and offers beautiful trails through forests, hills, and typical Swedish scenery. At the same time, you can reach shops and restaurants within a few minutes by car.
Anyone who wants to experience Sweden in an authentic, peaceful, and close-to-nature way will find a place here with plenty of freedom, privacy, and real recreational value.

The quiet location of our holiday home at Kroppefjäll in Dalsland combines nature, relaxation, and practical proximity to shopping facilities and excursion destinations. Right outside the door, the forest and nature reserve begin, while at the same time the bathing lake, shopping, and interesting places in the area are easily accessible.

Svingsjön – approx. 2 km, accessible by car, natural lake in Kroppefjäll with islands and bays, ideal for swimming, rowing, paddling, and hiking
Högsäter – approx. 5 km, restaurant and Coop supermarket

Pets are welcome for an additional charge of €5.00 per animal per day.
The price includes four bicycles (3 x 28”, 1 x 26”), a rowboat, a canoe with life jackets, as well as a table tennis table, a trampoline, and high-speed internet.

1 x 90-115 kg, 3 x 70-90 kg, 1 x 60-80 kg, 1 x 40-60 kg, 2 x 20-30 kg
Bed linen and towels can be provided upon advance order for €20.00 per person. In the months of June, July, and August, arrival and departure day is Saturday.

Beautiful holiday home - quietly located
We were guests in this beautiful holiday home for 1 1/2 weeks. After a personal handover by the landlords, we had a great time in Dalsland. Recreation & pure idyll
Since the last review is a bit outdated, I would like to confirm that everything from my perspective is accurate as described here: very kind hosts, with whom everything went smoothly from the beginning (email contact, phone calls), so one already had a good feeling before the trip even started. The house is even more beautiful and cozy in reality than it appears in the photos here. In the evenings, you can wonderfully sit on the terrace, with the fairy lights on, and listen to nature. The house is well-equipped; we missed nothing. Life jackets like new, plenty of table tennis paddles and balls available, DVDs, books, games. We also had no problems with mosquitoes; they mostly left us alone.
The area is beautiful, especially the lake. We were almost alone there during the week. There is a lot to do in the nearby area: hiking, outings, moose park, etc.
Absolutely recommended!

Holiday 2022
We spent 2 weeks in this very nice holiday home. The holiday home is in very good condition and everything you need is there. The landlords are very nice and helpful, children and animal friendly. The way to the lake is not far, full of mushrooms in season. If you are lucky, a moose will drop by. Pure relaxation, we will be back. Veronika, Jörg and our four-legged friend Ben.

Great hosts
We can recommend the house and the surroundings for a nice holiday in Sweden.
Everything is in a very clean and well-kept condition.
Everything you need is there. Life jackets, firewood, barbecue lighter, kitchen roll, barbecue charcoal,
Cleaning supplies, a well-stocked spice rack and much more.
It is quiet there, yet not far from shopping and the excursion destinations can be reached relatively quickly.
The Kroppefjäll is on the doorstep, where there are many hiking possibilities. You should definitely take a canoe trip on Svingsjön.
Maud and Reiner are lovely and very helpful hosts. Thank you again for your help with our problem.

Very well equipped and maintained holiday home at Kroppefjäll
Very well equipped and maintained holiday home in a quiet forest location without direct neighbours. Well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, including sharp knives. Even an egg picker is there. Good beds. The house is a suitable starting point for hikes in the Kroppefjäll, Kynnefjäll, Tresticklan and Yttre Bodane nature reserves, which can all be reached within 1 hour by car. Washing machine and dishwasher in the outbuilding, mobile table tennis table in the garage. Very nice landlords (German emigrants). Well behaved dogs allowed.
