Description
Our holiday homes are located on a spacious property in Loiz (municipality of Witzin) in an out-of-town location surrounded by woods and meadows. The holiday home (House A) was completely modernised in 2008-2010 and is furnished in a modern and cosy style. In addition to the large living room with wood-burning stove and a small open kitchen area as well as a directly connected outdoor terrace facing west, there is a bedroom with double bed and an extra room with WC and shower. Our guests can use the sauna area at any time.

Location and surroundings of object
The small village of Loiz belongs to the municipality of Witzin - only a seven-minute drive away from the state-recognised resort town of Sternberg with its medieval town centre ... Here you will find everything you need: various food markets, bakers and restaurants as well as a petrol station and bicycle and canoe rental. The extensive grounds, the nearby village of Loiz and the surrounding area of the Sternberg lakeland, as well as the proximity to the Baltic Sea, offer many recreational opportunities. Those who want to be physically active can let off steam in the surrounding area: whether canoeing, horseback riding, golfing, swimming in lakes or the Baltic Sea, jogging or cycling on beautiful forest paths or trolley rides - there is something for everyone. Those who like it quieter can take a walk through the forest to the old Slavic settlement or to the old-timer museum in Groß Raden or visit the environmental and nature park in Güstrow. Nature lovers will find a paradise in the surroundings of Loiz: there are 20 protected landscape areas in the district of Parchim alone. The landscape is characterised by gentle terminal moraine hills and beautiful glacial valleys such as those of the Warnow and Mildenitz rivers. Day trips to the "big" cities of Schwerin, Güstrow, Wismar and Rostock offer plenty of culture and history to touch and experience.

Perfect for peace and nature
The little house is located directly in the forest, surrounded by a wonderful property. We felt comfortable immediately. It is lovingly furnished, clean, and has everything one needs. Nothing is missing (even though there is no TV).
Loiz is a sweet little district. The nature around is simply stunning. We were able to enjoy the swimming spot by the lake all to ourselves. Additionally, a trip to the Baltic Sea is not far away. We recuperated very much and will come back.

at short notice - uncomplicated - perfect
We were spontaneously looking for a few days of peace and quiet and found what we were looking for! Perfectly situated, pure nature, very uncomplicated landlords who have furnished and designed the holiday homes and the extensive property with an extreme amount of love and taste. A big thank you and respect for what has been created in Loiz!

Natur
Two very nice weeks with peace for us and our pets on the property and in the very well-equipped house. Very beautiful hiking trails, historical sites, art and culture, as well as culinary delights within a radius of 25 km. Many thanks to the kind landlords.

Pure relaxation
We spent three wonderfully relaxing weeks with our dog in house A this summer. In the morning, we were woken up by the buzzing of bumblebees starting the day in the grass. The bedroom could be darkened well against mosquitoes and heat. The living room, veranda and garden offered plenty of space to relax. The forest around the property invites you to spontaneous walks or bicycle tours. The Pioch family provides a lot of information so that you can quickly find your way around the wider area for activities and shopping. Thank you very much, dear Pioch family, it will remain an unforgettable holiday for us!
