Description
Holiday house (120m²) up to 6 persons in Mittenwalde. (15km from Templin).
The quiet detached house consists of two floors.
The basement is divided into: a bedroom, a living room ( fireplace), kitchen with dining area and dishwasher, bathroom with tub and shower.
Upstairs: a guest toilet, a bedroom with double bed (can also be placed separately 2x 90 x 200 cm) and an open living room (sofa bed) with an unobstructed view over the field.
The house is situated on a large plot (5000m²) in an idyllic secluded location with a view over field and meadow. At the house there is a large garden (2000m² exclusive use) for our guests with a large terrace and barbecue area, campfire site directly in front of the terrace. There is also a small herb corner for you to cook. The old fruit trees in the garden invite you to harvest them yourself.
Small guests are very welcome, sandpit, swing, balance beam, football goal, table tennis table, nest swing, cot, high chair, 2 bicycles, 1 child's bicycle seat, board games and books are available and can be used free of charge.
Car parking spaces are available free of charge on the property.
Spend your holiday at a nice campfire, ideal for stick bread, and listen to the concert of the frogs or at a cosy fireside evening with a glass of wine. Explore the nature with its numerous waters by bike, or take a boat trip on the lake 2.5 km away, also ideal for fishing and swimming. Boat (with or without electric motor, for a fee) and bicycles (two, free of charge) can be rented.
There is a horse riding facility in the village. There you can ride in the arena, on the lunge or take an accompanied ride to the lake across the fields.
Or have your children always wanted to go horseback riding? But you prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet? Then you can register your children as a day child at the equestrian farm about 3.5 km away.
You bring your child there in the morning, relax in the Urlaubshaus-Uckermark and listen to the peace and quiet.
You can pick your child up again in the late afternoon. (only during the holiday season in Berlin and Brandenburg, and if there are free places)
Furthermore, you can go fishing, swimming, diving, hiking, nordic walking, mushroom picking.
Tennis, mini golf, table tennis and billiards as well as a small indoor swimming pool and a 2000m² indoor playground are about 2km away.
Horse-drawn carriage rides and horse-drawn carriage rides are also available.
Visit the western town or take a ride on a trolley.
Go-kart track, Schorfheide Game Park, climbing garden, fairytale forest, ship lift, all invite you to make an excursion.
Water castles, monastery ruins, monastery mills, castles and palaces can be discovered in abundance in the surrounding area.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home Uckermark is located in 17268 Mittenwalde (15km from Templin).
Between the towns of Templin and Prenzlau in the Uckermark, Brandenburg (border Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), approx. 80km from Berlin and approx. 150km from Usedom.
In the beautiful end moraine area surrounded by forest and water in the Uckermark. A multitude of lakes, forests, countless moors and gentle hills around 100 m can be discovered.
Large parts of this unique nature are now nature reserves. Visitors can see cranes in large numbers, and with a little luck white-tailed eagles, black storks, beavers and otters.
The town of Templin attracts visitors with its completely preserved medieval town wall.

Dreamlike
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation and immediately felt comfortable in this house. It is lovingly furnished and tastefully decorated with beautiful, partly antique objects. Birdsong could be heard in the fantastically beautiful garden, which I enjoyed very much. The TV is a bit small, but hidden in the closet, which may be convenient when traveling with children. There are play areas with swings and a huge barbecue terrace for children. Above all, the cleanliness in the house and the very well-kept garden are worth mentioning. All in all, a dream vacation! Thank you, especially to the Schmidt family!!

Good equipment, clean and quiet.
Near Berlin, very quiet and very clean. Plenty of space for 2 people. No Wi-Fi and poor mobile reception.
Suitable for holidaymakers who appreciate tranquility.
Nice walking opportunities as well.

Familienurlaub
A very beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday home, down to the last detail. The photos and reality match 1:1. Upon entering the property and the holiday home, one immediately feels very comfortable and at home. The welcome from the Schmidt family is very warm, and all questions are answered in great detail. Every day we discovered a new detail and took home some inspiration. Our trips to Boitzenburg, Prenzlau, Templin, Lychen, and Himmelpfort were interesting and very enjoyable. The location of the holiday home is very central and in the middle of the Uckermark. Mr. Schmidt also showed us the way to Kuhzsee, and we had a successful day of fishing. We say thank you for this beautiful week of vacation, which ended too quickly, and can only highly recommend the holiday home with all its amenities.

Dream vacation in a dream house
A great temporary home that leaves nothing to be desired. Here you will find peace and relaxation in a wonderful environment. There is no mass tourism to be felt in Mittenwalde. Charming towns like Templin and Prenzlau are just a few minutes away by car. The on-site support was so good that saying goodbye was especially difficult for us, especially for the children. Boating, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, dining out, barbecuing, campfires, ball games, and playing in the huge garden, diverse excursions of various kinds, and much more are possible here. With full conviction, we award full points in all categories.

New Year's holiday
Thank you very much for the lovely days over the New Year.
We have recovered very well in the short time.
The house has a lot of charm, nothing is missing.
Extensive walks and a visit to Berlin, about 80 km away, were worth the trip.
