After an active day, you can relax in the evening in our cozy living room on our seating area with a novel. In our small kitchen, everything is available—from a two-burner stove and microwave to a coffee machine—to serve a delicious breakfast or dinner in the dining area of the living room. And if you don't feel like cooking, enjoy regional specialties with a fine bottle of Moselle wine in one of the local restaurants.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday apartment is located in the middle of the small Moselle village of Valwig, close to the vineyards. The modern and cozy apartment invites you to leave everyday life behind. Due to its location, it is the ideal starting point for hikes through the vineyards, bike tours along the Moselle, or excursions to the sights in the area. Valwig is three kilometers from the tourist center of Cochem. There you will find various shopping opportunities, a bank, a pharmacy, a hospital (dialysis center) and a wide range of leisure activities: the Moselbad (wave and outdoor pool), the Reichsburg Cochem, the Cochem chairlift, the Bundesbank bunker, the historic mustard mill, an animal and leisure park (Klotti), a small cinema, various excursion boats and much more. In the surrounding area there are also plenty of excursion options, whether to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, the Roman city of Trier, the Geierlay suspension bridge, the maar lakes of the Eifel, or even to Cologne Cathedral. The quaint little wine village especially invites you to go hiking on the "Apolloweg" or the "Breva Wein & Weg", to go cycling, or to enjoy convivial gatherings in one of the wine taverns or seasonal wine bars.

You can store your bicycles or motorcycles free of charge in our vaulted cellar. A public parking lot at the house as well as 50 m from the house is available free of charge.

During the season you will receive the guest ticket free of charge for free use of bus and train in the Cochem-Zell district.

A dog is allowed on request and costs 25 euros per stay.
