Description
Look forward to a wonderful stay amidst the beautiful nature of the Emsland. Our half-timbered house was completely rebuilt from an original Emsland farmhouse and is located in the Auenpark holiday area near Geeste. The holiday home is located directly on the lake and thus offers a wonderful view of the lake and the nature behind it. You can swim, fish and relax at the lake next to the house.

The original rebuilt half-timbered house has a very special charm. Old oak beams and lovingly designed interior furnishings invite you to linger in comfort. You can enjoy relaxing hours in front of the open fireplace. From the terrace and balcony you have a beautiful view of the lake and the vast nature behind it. The close proximity to the Geeste reservoir offers a wide range of recreational opportunities for water sports, cycling and much more
Particularly attractive is the proximity to the towns of Lingen and Meppen with their rich cultural, leisure and restaurant offerings.
Both towns have convincing historic town centres and good shopping facilities.

Holiday home in beautiful surroundings
We were warmly welcomed by the landlady. The location of the house is fantastic for relaxing and also for walks. Nothing was missing and everything was very clean and well maintained. Greetings from the Rhineland.

Fantastic New Year's Eve
We were able to enjoy a truly dreamlike New Year's Eve in the beautiful Heuerhaus am See in Geeste. This house really lacks nothing. A great coordinated furnishing makes everything cozy and the fireplace does the rest. We can only recommend this accommodation more. Even our little female dog felt comfortable from the first moment. The nice hosts, the Herbers family, make an effort to ensure a perfect vacation. We thank you for this beautiful week and are likely to become "repeat offenders". Unfortunately, there are only 5 stars - we would have given more. . .

Relaxation pure with dog
We had a totally relaxing and restful holiday with our dog. The house is great, nothing is missing and it is totally cozy and lovingly decorated. It is worth mentioning that we are passionate mushroom hunters and were very successful. We never go to the same place twice, but in this case it cannot be excluded.

It doesn't get any better than this !
In September we spent 2 very relaxing weeks in the beautiful holiday home of the Herbers family. The house was built and furnished with great attention to detail. Cosy and perfect.
In addition, the wonderful, quiet location on the small lake with bathing area.
The surrounding area invites you to long walks, bike tours and strolls in pretty towns like Lingen or Meppen.
The large Geester reservoir is close by. Wonderfully landscaped with a long beach, cycling and walking paths all around and a very good restaurant. Pure beach feeling!

Super nice and well-maintained vacation home
The holiday home is suuuper beautiful. It is lovingly furnished and we didn't miss anything. The cleanliness was excellent. Everything you need was available. In this holiday home, you feel very comfortable and can switch off from everyday life immediately. Everyone who stayed in this holiday home was thrilled. (Celebrated my 60th birthday there). In the area, there are many beautiful cycling paths. Shopping facilities (Aldi/Lidl and Co) are in Dalum - 3 km away. There is even a bakery in the village. The large storage lake is only a 10-minute walk away and invites you to swim, sail, and surf. Good restaurants are also nearby.
