Set amidst a paradisiacal garden surrounded by stately cypresses, oleanders and palm trees, the Quinta da Ferradura is located in the heart of the Eastern Algarve and invites relaxation and fun-seeking guests to a luxurious holiday. Most visitors call the 60sqm pool and the varied colorful garden as the main reason for their early return, but also the well-maintained overall condition and the great facilities are in vain ...

The house, built in the form of a horseshoe (Ferradura), opens with large windows to the south-east, where only a few neighboring houses can be seen in the distance. So the holidaymakers enjoy absolute privacy on all terraces and in the pool area.

At the Quinta da Ferradura everyone will find a place to taste ... Whether under palm trees on the green lawn, on one of the covered or open terraces or in the cozy pavilion between cacti and fruit trees, far down on the 8500sqm, completely fenced plot. If the sun gets too hot in the meantime, there is cooling in the pool or in the air-conditioned living room. There is a sofa set for relaxing, TV, internet, music and books. The large dining table is suitable for social games or extensive menus, which can be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. A mobile charcoal grill is also available in the covered outdoor area.

Through the 'horseshoe' with large windows, Portuguese 'azulejos' and small Algarve photo gallery, one enters the sleeping wing with three double rooms and respective bathroom. From the master bedroom with large bathroom en suite, the guest can bounce almost directly into the pool in the morning or marvel at the strelizien and bougainvilleas in front of the terrace ... So should be holidays!

Very large, beautiful, and clean house

We liked the house right away. It offers plenty of space, is clean, and you can cool off in the pool at any time. Everything is reachable by car within a few minutes.

Fantastic acommodation for a great vacation

Thé accommodation is great and confortable. The outdors are splendid with a big garden and a fantastic pool. The road to arrive to the accommodation is not the best but the localisation is great to visit the East Algarve, near to awesome beaches and towns like Praia do Barril, Tavira, Oilhao, Faro o Falesia. Heidi and Jens are always ready available and ready to help in order to enjoy your days there.

Dream vacation in a great accommodation

We were four in the accommodation and we lacked for nothing. The welcome was very warm and straightforward. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful property with many shady spots and retreats, so that one can find a place in natural shade under trees/palms by the pool at any time of the day. Additionally, the kitchen amenities are more than adequate and the beds are very comfortable. The pool was clean and was not treated with chlorine, but naturally with salt, which was pleasant for the skin and eyes. There were more than enough towels, both for indoors and for the pool. We were completely satisfied and greatly enjoyed the overall silence and seclusion. We would definitely recommend the accommodation. Thank you!

Eine Villa mit Salzwasserpool

A very beautiful villa with a well-maintained tree-shrub stock.
Surprisingly for me was the otherwise rarely found saltwater pool in the area, which compensates for the somewhat long way (on foot) to the sea.
Unqualified praise goes to the management by the Röver family - always friendly, competent, and helpful.
We have been visited by countless birds, including Blue Magpies, three geckos, three quails,
and a few mosquitoes.

A Lucky Horseshoe

My husband and I arrived at Quinta da Ferradura and immediately fell enamoured
with it. It is a well situated, maintained secured and equipped Villa in the Algarve. Not far from Montcarpacio, Feuzeta or Olhão. The surroundings are very private and peaceful. We were impressed with the efficiency of the fireplace which provided warm and cozy evenings. The air con augmented the heating if a fire was not lit. We did not require the gas heat at all. The landscaping is mature and lovely with fresh rosemary, lemons and oranges available. Being from Canada this is a huge thing for us. The beds were so comfortable and the shower functioned very well. We enjoyed strolls through the countryside and found a lovely walk to Marieta’s Cafe for a treat.

Algarve 2021 with grandma & grandpa

After 2 years of vacation abstinence, we were back at the Algarve. When we are there, we take advantage of the excellent service of the Röver family and rent a holiday home from their portfolio. The Quinta Ferradura was the most beautiful and largest house we had rented up to that point. Mega large pool and almost too big for 4 people. If you want to relax and have an individual holiday, it is highly recommended. We will also book with Ostalgarve.com and the Röver family in the future. Highly recommended. Restful summer vacation

We stayed there with 4 people (2 adults and 2 older children). The house is somewhat secluded but very quiet as a result. Our navigation system (Google Maps) found it easily, so the journey from Faro with the rental car was no problem. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. We didn't miss anything. The property is beautifully surrounded by greenery, making it very idyllic. We really enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with the lovely view of the garden. The pool is nice and big, perfect for swimming laps. There are plenty of sunny or shady spots around to relax, read, etc. We especially liked the eastern Algarve with its smaller villages and the lagoon beaches around Ria Formosa. It is also worth mentioning the very good service provided by the Röver family, starting from the booking process to on-site support. We will definitely come back again.

four of us (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at the Quinta da Ferradura for 14 days and enjoyed the house, the beautiful garden with a view and the pool very much thanks to the summer temperatures. Mrs and Mr Röver were very nice and always helpful. A car should be rented. Many beautiful beaches, excursion destinations (including Montarosa (olive oil), Nova Cortiça (cork processing factory), salt production and spa in Castro Marim, etc) and shopping opportunities (larger centres and especially on Saturdays the farmers' market in Olhão right on the water) are easily accessible
It was just great and we are thinking of coming back!
