Pure relaxation

Thank you very much for the wonderful time in this beautiful green house. A house to feel good in. The house is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks in nature. The landlord, Mr Ben Richter, is very nice and the excursion tips he suggested to us are great. Even in bad weather you can stay in the house. There is a large selection of books and board games. Beautiful holiday home

We were as a family, 3 generations, at the Grünes Haus for 1 week. A great house, furnished with a lot of love and care. The Ore Mountains can be explored very well from the holiday home. We all felt very comfortable. We lit the beautiful stove in the kitchen every day. The house is designed for a maximum of 9 people. We have never experienced that there are enough hooks in the bathroom for each person. Plenty of dishes, everything is there. We can only recommend the house and will definitely not be the last time here. The host is very attentive and gives good tips for leisure activities. Thank you again for the good support.

Restful weekend

The holiday home is located in a quiet place in the Ore Mountains, has been restored to high quality and tastefully furnished. We had plenty of space with 6 people and nothing was missing. Perfect for a hiking holiday. Pleasant contact with the landlord before and after the holiday. We will definitely come back.

Merry Christmas in Nassau in the beautiful Osterzgebirge

Christmas in the Green Holiday House in Nassau, a special celebration in a beautiful house.
With up to 10 adults at times, we found enough space and comfort in this house. It was so well furnished and equipped that we only missed the snow.
The celebration was completed with the opportunity to cut down our own Christmas tree on the first day of our stay.
The presence of a high chair saved us from having to bring an additional one, and the ping pong table provided a lot of fun.
The surroundings of the holiday house and Nassau offer plenty of opportunities for hiking or discovering a geocache. We were particularly impressed by the artistic works and playground at the Sauensäger in Blockhausen. But also a tour of the nearby brewery is worth a visit.
We can only recommend a stay in the Green Holiday House in Nassau and we can say that its direct location on the road did not affect our stay.

Highly recommended, everything is great!

We were a large family with grandma and grandpa in the beautiful cozy Green Holiday Home. We were so excited because it looks quite small from the outside. You immediately feel at home. Everything is so cozy and lovingly furnished, the highlight for us was the spacious kitchen with the old wood stove, on which we also cooked. Even a rainy day was no problem, we spent it all together in this great kitchen. The equipment was also top notch, everything you need is there. The beautiful cottage is located in a rural area and I didn't notice much traffic, if maybe five cars pass by in an hour, it's still a village road for me, and at night I only heard the beautiful creek rushing by, which runs directly next to the house. It was pure idyll for us. There is also a lot to see and explore in the surrounding area, boredom cannot arise. We were only there for 6 days, but we came home super relaxed. The landlord is very nice and very helpful, gives many tips on interesting things to see and is always available if you have any questions. We can highly recommend the Green Holiday Home. Thank you very much for the nice vacation, we will be back :-) Family Bock

To feel good

For the fourth time already, we spent a weekend with friends or family at the Green House. We feel very comfortable in the cozy and well-equipped house. There are plenty of excursion possibilities in the surrounding area at any time of year. The landlord is very nice and the handover of the house is uncomplicated. The morning bread service is highly recommended.

Wonderful New Year's Eve stay

We, a family from Chemnitz, would like to note that the house is highly recommended. You feel welcome and after a few days even at home. The price is great, the equipment ideal, and the tranquil location a perfect prerequisite for switching off.

Erholung pur

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the green holiday home. A house decorated with great attention to detail, in a very beautiful location right by the stream. For the children, paddling in the creek was a very welcome change. We spent very cozy hours in the beer garden (house terrace). We were also thrilled to finally be able to use a table tennis table right by the house. Nassau is a very beautiful place, with very charming residents, we were greeted very warmly. We thoroughly enjoyed it, a holiday for relaxing and feeling good.

Great house for small groups and families

We were with 8 people, including 4 children, in Nassau over Pentecost and enjoyed our second stay in the green holiday house very much. Our main reason for the vacation was to visit the World Championship in Chainsaw Carving in Blockhausen, which is just about 30 minutes away. This great event takes place each year at Pentecost.
The holiday house is very nicely and comfortably furnished, with the kitchen being especially great. During the colder season, you can fire up the wood-coal stove here. The house offers plenty of opportunities for everyone to have some space from the group. Right nearby, you can take a beautiful walk uphill. The nature is fantastic. The residents of Nassau, especially the direct neighbors, are very nice and friendly. The small grocery store and bakery with a café in the village are also practical. The rolls are very delicious!
In Muldau, just 20 minutes away, you can find not only the nearest gas station, but also a small but nice outdoor swimming pool, which is ideal for families.
A visit to Seiffen is also worth it from here. Particularly recommended are the summer toboggan run with an adjacent adventure train café and the open-air museum. Super!
We can recommend the holiday house to everyone, as you can also start trips to Dresden or the Königstein Fortress from here. The Richter family, the landlords, are very hospitable and gave us great tips for the area. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back.

Super ausgestattetes Ferienhaus

I have never stayed in an accommodation that is so well-equipped. Everything necessary is available in both the bathroom and the kitchen (soap, spices, dishes, towels, etc.). The house provides ample space for 9 people, and everything is very cozy and nicely decorated. I can only recommend it.

Green House Frauenstein-Nassau

We spent a holiday week in February at the Grünes Haus in Frauenstein-Nassau. Every day we went on extensive hikes through the snowy landscape and always returned home quite exhausted in the evening. In the cozy atmosphere of the well-kept rooms of the house, it was wonderful to relax afterwards. The necessary rooms were quickly and comfortably warm. The large and perfectly equipped kitchen would have allowed cooking a gourmet meal for many people. But also preparing the dinner for only 2 people was really fun, especially since the supply of spices and other ingredients, which are usually only available in our own kitchen, left nothing to be desired.
The living room offered a lot of coziness and via a staircase on the gallery, there was also a comfortable reading chair with a bright lamp, as a kind of retreat area. The two bedrooms on the first floor have windows facing a small creek, whose murmur lulls you wonderfully to sleep. If that should bother you, you can enjoy almost absolute silence with the windows closed. The large bedroom at the level of the gallery is surely a great sleeping place for small and big children, which we didn't have with us this time. Overall: for the peace-seeking hiker, even with a large family, an ideal place, lovingly set up with male craftsmanship and female sense of hospitality and beauty.
Many thanks to our hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back.

Top Ferienhaus

We spent wonderful days in this holiday home with 8 people and a baby. Especially beautiful is the stove in the kitchen that we lit every morning. It was so cozy that we mainly stayed in the living kitchen. But of course, the house offers enough retreat options for all residents. The rooms are very well equipped, there is enough bed linen on site, and cozy blankets. You can watch DVDs or TV in the living room, the gallery leading to the 3rd floor is also very beautiful.

We will definitely come back. The Richter family is very friendly and always available by phone if there are any questions.

If you decide to spend your holiday in the Ore Mountains, book this house. It's beautiful.

Autumn vacation in the Eastern Ore Mountains

In October 2014, we spent a week with sunny autumn days in the green holiday home in Nassau. The house is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes along the ridges of the Eastern Ore Mountains, the forests around Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, or trips to Seiffen, Freiberg, and Frauenstein. The house itself is located in the middle of the street village of Nassau and is still a truly original Ore Mountains house with small windows and original beams. The charm of the house has been preserved through careful restoration, and one can still imagine how people originally lived here. However, the house does not feel small. In the entrance area, everything can be stored well, the kitchen is spacious and offers a dining table. In addition to a "normal" kitchen unit, there is also a historic wood stove for cooking. The bathroom is large and functional, and a second toilet is convenient for multiple residents in the house. One particularly feels comfortable in the living area on the upper floor. Here, 2 floors are connected, and skylights let in a lot of light and sunshine. Overall, the furnishings are bright and friendly, with a lot of natural materials and pleasantly understated furniture. One can really feel comfortable and relax here. The acoustics in the living room are also very good, so you can even make music together. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable and offer enough space, so even with full occupancy, there are plenty of opportunities for retreat. We felt very, very comfortable here and thank Mr. Richter for the friendly rental.

Herrliche Ruhe

Thank you for the wonderful days in this beautiful house. We felt comfortable right away. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, but the house offers many cozy retreat options. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space. We particularly loved the stove in the kitchen, which we lit every evening. The house had everything we needed... games, books, barbecue equipment... everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The house is recommended for everyone, we will definitely come back.

Recreation!

At the end of March, we, 3 generations,
Mother/daughters/grandchildren, spent very nice days.

The stream in front of the cottage, as well as the very beautiful
Erzgebirge village, with the old refurbished farmhouses,
among the meadows already acts as a factor for relaxation.

It is a very lovingly, newly and yet comfortably furnished house. To highlight are a well-equipped kitchen with a large table, and a stove for heating up, a highlight for young and old. Attention, the ceiling is quite low. The large bath is also appreciated by people with children.

A small grocery store and a bakery with a café/pastry shop
are in the village, providing well-sorted supplies for the physical well-being.
There are beautiful places all around, delightful hiking trails along streams.

The house is located directly on the village street, yet it is wonderfully quiet – at least on weekends. The entrance is at the back, making it child-safe as well. From the train stop Nassau, it's about 3km up the road. There is also a bus from Freiberg to the village.

Wohlgefühlt

We were eight people in the house for a week and felt very comfortable. Most of the time we were in the well-equipped kitchen. Thanks to the oven, even with wonderful temperatures. The people in the area were very friendly towards us.

Die Liftbetreiber in Holzhau bescherten uns einen schönen Skitag - trotz Frühling im Winter.
Das Teichhaus gefiel uns sehr.

shopping facilities: Im Ort gibt es eine Art Konsum und einen Bäcker, der die Brötchen liefert.
