In Brodowin, the lively eco-village in the middle of the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve, one hour north-east of Berlin, nestled between seven lakes, lies the Lebenswiese holiday and seminar house. Only a few steps away from the inviting bathing meadow at Brodowinsee, you can relax here in the midst of greenery and hold meetings. Enjoy the sunrise and panoramic view from neighbouring Gotteswerder and a refreshing morning swim in the lake. Greet the donkeys or horses in the nearby paddock or take a walk to the lovingly designed organic village shop and farm of the Ökodorf Demeter farm. The impressive Chorin Monastery is just a few kilometres away and invites you to take a bike tour through the impressive beech forest of the biosphere reserve. The vast landscapes of the nearby Oderbruch also invite you to take a trip.

Location and surroundings of object

The Lebenswiese is a spacious, lovingly furnished house in Brodowin next to the Brodowinsee lake. Six bedrooms offer beds for 12, with extra beds max. 14 people. The kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining 12 guests, the dishwasher saves time for more holidays. The beautiful large wild garden invites you to enjoy with terrace, barbecue and fire place as well as a dining place in the green. The enjoyable tranquillity is cherished by the absence of televisions. A free W-LAN is available.

Further information and photos can be found on our website The 7-lake village of Brodowin is an idyllically situated lively eco-village in the Barnimer Land. One of the largest Demeter farms in Germany is located here - you can visit the farm and shop in the farm's own well-stocked village shop. Seven lakes invite you to swim and offer beautiful views while hiking. In the village centre, right next to the stork's nest, the newly restored Stüler church and nice restaurants invite you to stop for a bite to eat. The local ecovillage association regularly organises guided nature tours in the beautiful biosphere reserve with its impressive forests.

- Overnight stay per person € 25,- plus one-time final cleaning of € 85,-

- Attention small groups with less than 7 persons: Minimum house price per night € 175,-
- In the summer holidays at the end of June/July/August as well as New Year's Eve only weekly renting - 7 nights, otherwise at least 2 nights
- Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed due to allergies
- Please bring your own bed linen and towels or order them from us for € 11,- per set

Cancellation terms:

Cancellation Policy Up to six weeks before the arrival date, 20% of the booking total (the amount of the deposit). From six weeks before the arrival date until one week before, 80% of the booking total. 90% of the travel costs are due from one week before the arrival date and in case of no-show. If it is possible to re-rent the canceled period, the landlords will only retain the 20% deposit.

The house can also be rented as a seminar house. The seminar room is 28 m2 and well suited for groups of up to 12 people. Whiteboard, beamer screen, variable furniture. Full board can be booked

In addition, we offer a professionally guided adventure programme for groups during your stay on request, e.g. archery, canoe tours, tree climbing, cooperative adventure games or yoga.

House Meadow of Life

We celebrated our wedding week on site and invited our closest family circle for it. The house was perfect for this. The rooms are lovingly designed and offer the possibility to spend time together as well as to relax. The outdoor area is very large. You can barbecue, have a great fireplace, various seating options, etc. The bathing area is within walking distance.
The bathing area within walking distance is beautiful and the farm shops nearby invite you to explore. All in all, simply wonderful and absolutely recommended!

Felt very well

We stayed with two families, a total of 4 children, in the house Lebenswiese and felt very comfortable there. The house is very cozy and well-equipped, the property is huge and offers plenty of space to run around and play. And we were particularly pleased with the campfire area. It was nice and warm in the house at the beginning of autumn and the rooms are all beautifully and lovingly decorated, so that everyone can find a place to feel good. We will definitely come back again.

Schönes, gut ausgestattetes Haus

We have now been to Haus Lebenswiese for the third time with a group of adults and small children over New Year's. We enjoyed it very much each time, the rooms are nicely and cozy furnished, everything you need is there. Brodowin is a nice village in a beautiful setting. The organic farm with a farm shop is a nice excursion destination within walking distance, where you can find groceries for daily needs. We were able to use the seminar room as a playroom for the children. With very young children, one must be careful with the stairs and come up with a way to secure them. One of the stairs even has a safety gate.
Thanks to the nice landlords, everything always goes smoothly.

Great holiday home for family celebrations!

We spent a few days there with family and friends (11 adults and 4 children) and everyone was super excited from the first look at the house. It is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and dining room (or seminar room) so that everyone has their place and can comfortable eat or cook together. It is stylishly decorated and has everything you could need in the house (including books and board games). We didn't explore much of the surroundings as everything in the village was closed over the Christmas holidays. But there are different lakes nearby for beautiful walks. Contact with the owner was easy and always pleasant. We definitely recommend it and will keep the address for next time! Thank you very much!

Perfect for small family gatherings

A round birthday should be celebrated in a special setting. During our research, we discovered this advertisement and decided to rent the house. We did not regret it! It provided suitable sleeping accommodations for all of us (11 people, 3 generations) and plenty of space for eating, socializing, playing, crafting, and reading. The tasteful and very personal furnishings made us feel more at home than in a normally "sterile" vacation house. Only the slightly steep staircase was a bit of an adjustment, at least for the older ones, in the beginning. Unfortunately, due to typical November weather, we only had a faint impression of the large garden and presumably beautiful nature in the nearby area. That can only mean "we will be back"! The necessary contact with the owner, due to the short notice, was great. We even received the forgotten items in the house again - once again, thank you very much!

Inspiring and relaxing

We rented space in House Lebenswiese as a working group and had the opportunity to work independently as well as together. There were plenty of spots to have peace and quiet for reading or working on the computer, but also enough space for the group to come together. The house is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything one might need. We cooked together, sat in the kitchen, drank, and had breakfast on the terrace. To clear our minds, we strolled through the village, gazed at the lake, and climbed the small mountain behind it. Even though we were there for work, we left relaxed and refreshed. We also found a fantastic location for our next family or friends' vacation.

Teamreise

Simply great. We spent our team days at Lebenswiese Brodowin. From arrival to departure, everything was very straightforward and great.
The house with its various themed rooms, lovingly designed bathrooms, and the conference room very suitable for our purposes made our stay a very nice experience.
During our breaks, despite the November weather, we were able to enjoy nature (lake, forest, and field). The open living area was also very nice for cozy gatherings in the evening. We will come back.

Pure slowing down

I was fortunate to be in Brodowin for 6 days with the most beautiful weather. The location in the Schorfheide/Chorin nature reserve ensures that you completely unwind. No phone, no computer, almost no cellphone reception - it was simply great! Time passes slowly without being boring. Biking, reading, hiking, swimming in the lake - I didn't even know where to start. In the evening at the campfire, the wild geese fly over, the crickets chirp, someone had a guitar - great atmosphere. I definitely won't be the last time there, even if I have to drive 800 km for it.
