Beautiful quiet location on the old dyke. Central for sightseeing and activities. Free bathing beach on the Eider in 2.5 km. The North Sea is also only a few kilometres away

The nearest free bathing place is in Wollersum (2 km) on the Eider.
Close to Tönning (with historic harbour) and Friedrichstadt (Little Amsterdam).
Absolutely centrally located also for trips to Sylt, the Halligen and the other North Sea islands.

Due to the North Sea location, the holiday home is an ideal starting point for many excursion destinations at the Wadden Sea National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is recommended to spend a day on the high sea island Helgoland with its lobster stalls and of course to visit the "Lange Anna".
Or take a boat trip to Cuxhaven to the "Alte Liebe".
Experience the North Sea islands of Sylt, Amrum, Föhr or enjoy a trip to the unique Hallig world.
The nearby nature recreation area Katinger Watt at the Eider barrier is one of the most visited and most beautiful places on the west coast.

Unfreundliche und unehrliche Vermietet
Das Ferienhaus " Am alten Deich" ist nicht zu empfehlen, wir hatten es für 2 Wochen gebucht, mussten eine Kaution von 300 Euro hinterlegen. In der Hausordnung stand, wenn man Besuch empfangen möchte, müsste man es vorher mit den Vermietern absprechen, wir haben extra nachgefragt, ob es ok wäre , wenn Bekannte mit ihren Camper vorne stehen dürften, sie würden dann zum Frühstück und Abendessen zu uns kommen, die Vermieterin meinte, es wäre kein Problem, sie möchten nur nicht, dass 2 Personen gemeldet sind und 30 sich dann im Haus aufhalten. In der Zeit wo wir das Haus gemietet hatten, kamen sie 1x vorbei um ein Möbelstück anzuliefern, obwohl in der Woche nach uns niemand drin war , man es in der Zeit bringen hätte können und 1x war jemand da zum Rasen mähen und 2x war jemand da zum Unkraut jäten , man konnte nicht in Ruhe wohnen oder den Garten nutzen. Als wir abgereist waren, erhielten eine Mail wo sie geschrieben hatte, dass sie die Heizkosten von der Kaution abziehen würde, als sie uns das Restgeld nicht überwiesen hatte, hat mein Mann eine Mail geschrieben, darauf reagierte sie nicht, dann rief mein Mann an und sie sagte, wir hätten ein Handtuch mit Farbe beschädigt, wir sagten , wir waren das nicht, da ich naturblond bin und mein Mann Glatze hat, sie wurde sehr unfreundlich und sagte, doch sie waren es aber wir hatten das Handtuch schon mit dem Fleck schon so auf der Waschmaschine vorgefunden, auf einmal störte sie es auch , dass unsere Bekannte da waren, obwohl es abgeklärt war und verlangte für das Handtuch 6 Euro und 50 Euro für unseren Besuch. Was mich wundert, dass sie es nicht gleich bei der in der ersten Mail uns es mitgeteilt hat. Eigentlich eine schöne Gegend aber das Haus ist nicht zu empfehlen, man wir für Dinge beschuldigt und in Rechnung gestellt, obwohl man es nicht war..

Well maintained and beautiful holiday home with all comforts
Four of us stayed in this holiday home over Christmas and we were very excited. You felt right at home. The kitchen was equipped with everything, we were even able to prepare a Christmas menu. The landlords gave us a warm welcome and were always available. We can only report positive things and recommend this holiday home to others.

Holiday with 7 people and 1 dog
We had 7 wonderful holidays in this really great holiday home. We didn't want for anything. We felt at home. Our dog especially liked the very beautiful large garden. She could romp around without any worries because everything was fenced in. The landlords are very nice and checked with us on the second day to make sure everything was OK. We went home in a good mood and very refreshed. Thank you very much!!!!

Super holiday home
We had two wonderful weeks in this really great holiday home.
Pure luxury - nothing was really missing. If you prefer it quiet, this is the place for you. Great landlords - attentive and always available.
A big plus for all dog owners is the large garden(s). There are two of them and they are completely fenced in, so that the dogs can run around without a leash. one is cosy with a barbecue area and flower beds and the other is a great play area.
We have already booked again for next year.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ruhige, ländliche Umgebung. Wer seine Ruhe haben möchte und kein Partytrubel benötigt ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben.
Lesen, spazieren gehen - einfach ausspannen!
free time activities: Für Wanderer, Radwanderer und Naturliebhaber genau das richtige. Wer etwas unternehmen möchte ist mit dem Auto schnell und zeitnah an wirklich interessanten Orten. Alles was das Herz begehrt.
shopping facilities: Ok, man muss mit dem Auto los. Aber der nächste Supermarkt liegt im nächsten 4 km entfernten Ort und dort bekommt man alles was man im täglichen Leben benötigt.
Ansonsten fährt man in die andere Richtung in 6 km Entfernung liegt Tönning und dort gibt es wirklich alles.

Nice vacation
We were 5 people for a week in this very beautiful holiday home, furnished with great taste. Each room is individually designed with attention to detail.
A very nice kitchen that is fully equipped invites you to cook.
The bathrooms are nice and spacious, with a bathtub, a rain shower, and a sauna.
Of course, all of this comes at a price.
But anyone who, like us, has experienced how other vacation homes are furnished (according to the motto it's only for vacationers, resulting in a jumbled collection of old furniture) is willing to spend a few extra euros.
In any case, I can highly recommend the holiday home and the nice landlords.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Links und Rechts vom Haus kommen vielleicht 4-5 Nachbarhäuser,
nach vorne schaut man auf einen Deich, nach hinten auf die weite von riesigen Feldern.
free time activities: Freizeitmöglichkeiten sind natürlich nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Tönning, Eidersperrwerk, Büsum, Heide, Friedrichstadt u.a. Ansonsten kann man schön spazieren gehen, und abends den Sternenhimmel bewundern.
shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten z.B. frische Krabben in Tönning am historischen Hafen ca.6km mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Dort befindet sich auch ein Aldi, Lidl, Sky usw.
Brötchen gibt es in Lunden ca. 3-4 km vom Haus entfernt.
